Greek Mythology Roleplay

Jade
She grinned back, giggling. When he posed his question, her brow furrowed. "Of course. Why?" She weaved her fingers into his. 

Bobby
He looked to Chiron. "I can accompany them," he interjected into the conversation. They had been trying to figure out who to send with the group. Some of the other satyrs raised their eyebrows. "I mean it," he said to them. They nodded. "It could work," Chiron mused.

Alex
Alex glanced around once more - mainly just for Kahlen. She was too smart for her own good, and she had Alex all figured out. "Come on." Alex pulled Jade into a sprint and they took off for the top fo the hill, venturing into the forest. "So you like horses?" He asked, when they were out of sight of the camp, ontop of the hill on the edge of the treeline.

Jade
She ran next to Alex, marveling at how his leg was all better already. She caught her breath at the top of the hill, gazing up at the stars before plunging into the forest a little ways. Her throat constricted. The stars and moonlight didn't seem to penetrate the foliage. She looked back the way they came and could see some lights from the camp, which relieved some of her panic. "Yeah," she replied, looking back at Alex. She could make out his blue eyes, which reflected the little light there was. She focused there instead of on the black around her.

Alex
Alex paused for a second, thinking. "But you don't like the dark?" He asked. He could hear her breathing quicken and heart thumps anxiously in the quiet of the night. He didn't peg Jade as one to be scared of the dark but hey, he could work with that.

Jade
She shook her head. "I was never afraid of the dark until today. When I stopped the Voice from making me black out again, it told me I'd be afraid of the dark." She sighed. "I didn't think it could do something like that, but apparently it can. I don't mind the night - I love stars - but total darkness is terrifying." She glanced at the darkness around her and shivered. At least he didn't see me freak out when the fog rolled through the pavilion. That was a bit embarrassing.

Alex
"Stars and Horses, huh?" Alex thought. He inhaled, and raised the palms of his hands to the sky, murmuring to himself as small stars streamed down from the sky like a river, twirling and winding through the trees at Alex's command until there was a full sized horse made of stars in front of them, snorting and snuffling at the two. It's coat twinkled gently like a minature galaxy, lighting up the area as it edged closer to Jade, nosing at her hair curiously.

Jade
She watched curiously as Alex murmured to himself. She couldn't quite make out what he was saying. Light pierced through the trees, and soon a horse made of stars stood in front of her. She looked from the horse to Alex. "How in the world?" she asked wondrously. The horse nosed her and she reached her hand out. "Hello. I am Star." She laughed under her breath. Yeah, you sure are. 

Alex 
Alex grinned at her. "Magic." He turned to scan the woods, just checking for any signs of danger in the darkness before he continued. "Would you like a ride? He should be solid enough for you to get on." 

Jade
She grinned. "Yeah, that'd be awesome." She looked at the starry horse. Can I get on? she asked it. "Yes." She easily swung onto its back and looked down at Alex. "Are you going to come too?" The equine felt almost solid beneath her. She was amazed that Alex had created him. 

Kahlen 
After the prophecy was spoken and heroes were chosen, Kahlen had quietly escaped. She'd been wandering the strawberry fields and was now in the forest. She heard someone- no, more than one person. She furrowed her brow. No one should be here at night. Kahlen had already run into her fair share of scary things. She ghosted through the thicket, making no noise. She made a wide circle around where she thought they'd be and came to the edge of the forest. Once Kahlen had reached open ground, she sprinted back to her cabin. She'd heard someone behind her, probably one of the patrol harpies. She shut the cabin behind her and sat on her bunk. "Who was that?" She murmured to herself.

Alex 
"Not me, love." Alex laughed. "Horse riding isn't really for me." He glanced ahead, pointing through the trees. "But I'll race you through there and down to the beach?"

Jade
"Sure." She grinned at him, feeling the horse prancing on its toes, ready to go. Alright, Star, here we go. "Go!" She said, hoping to catch Alex off guard. Star took off, and Jade was pretty sure his hooves didn't actually touch the ground. She felt his muscles ripple as he ran steadily, and his body glowed, lighting the darkness.

Alex 
Alex smirked, readying himself. He shut his eyes tightly, huffing out a breath and letting himself fall forwards, taking a step into the shadows like you would take any normal step, and he stepped out on the beach, still grinning. He watched the girl and the horse tear down the hill, skidding to a stop on the beach and spraying sand everywhere. 

Kahlen 
As Kahlen laid in bed, she thought of the most likely suspects. Unfortunately, she could think of only two: Alex and Jade. Man, those two were rebels. Then she smirked. Well, I guess I'm one too. 

Jade
She eyed him. "How did you do that?" She dismounted and ran her hand down the horse's neck affectionately. Star nuzzled her in return. She walked toward the waves pounding the beach. "So. Poseidon's daughter faces the ocean. What are you made of, Jade?" Jade ground her teeth together. "Alex," she said quietly, "The Voice is talking again." She didn't realize when she had walked out into the water. The Voice laughed in her head. "Your father has faith in you, but is it well-placed? Prove yourself." Jade shut her eyes a moment, her fists clenching. She didn't realize the water began swirling up around her.
