Auberon raised his eyebrows, sighed, and nodded.

"One of the Cavalry," he began. "Her mount was grabbed by the monsters. She tried to jump onto mine but fell into the monster army below. Is there any chance she might still be alive?" The words were hard to get out. He kept it simple, short. Auberon arrived again, luckily after his explanation. Noah didn't appreciate him being there, but he didn't say anything.

She winced. "That's not very long to save the world." "We're going faster than a car would," Tod said in response to Ethel. How fast, though? Tod huffed. "I don't know, get one of your fancy machines. But we're outrunning any cars and probably as fast as one of those fancy fake bird things." "Tod says we're going faster than a car, maybe as fast as an airplane."

"I - we - can clear it," he replied, glancing back at the forlorn figures outside the tent. They would be willing, he knew, to try and save Lilly. "There's two extra mounts if any medics want to follow along and land once the area's cleared." If they were to get to Lilly, they needed to move fast, and getting the medics there ASAP would be essential.

"I could always try and see if I can get to her without getting myself killed," Auberon muttered under his breath hoping Denver didn't hear him.

She wondered where Auberon was. She had thought of a plan, which could be valuable going off the screams coming from the battle field and the amount of demigods the medics where bringing in. She sighed. "if only he'd hurry up" she muttered to the dogs. If the rest of the demigods knew the two dogs where on their side she could use the dogs to help convince the rest of the dogs to help the demigods.

Auberon squinted his eyes at Denver. "Why do you hear everything I say? Either way... Outlaw and I found these dogs that she befriended, now the dogs want to help us but I doubt anyone will take to them. I hate to pester you but do you have any ideas?"

"Okay I'll go tell her. And by the way, regardless of whether Kahlen would like it or not, I could be used on the battle field. I mean she did go on a quest without my approval." he trotted back outside to Outlaw. "Take them around back and have them attack from the inside."

Outlaw
She stopped counting the feathers in the pegasi mare's wing when Auberon came over. "just one hitch. The demigods will probably still shoot at them." she said, fondling their ears gently.
