Noah
One of the medics pulled a small bottle of nectar from the kit and poured it into Lilly's mouth. The two began working on her scratches, bruises, and everything else those monsters had done to her. Noah glanced up to see one of the demigods barely standing his ground against a monster. His eyes darkening with fury, Noah leaped to his feet and drew his sword. The monster never saw him coming. It only took one sword thrust before it exploded into dust. Noah gave the demigod a grim nod and glanced back at Lilly. The medics were still working furiously.

Auberon
Auberon crept around the battle field, looking for a way to go in without too much friction. He found an opening and kneeled down looking for anyone injured.

He was helping one of the Cavalry riders fight off an angry-looking monster when he heard a shout behind him. "Alright, let's go!" He turned to see the two medics on their pegasi, Lilly awake and weakly holding onto one of the beasts in front of a medic. Noah helped each of the demigods finish their current fight and pulled himself onto his pegasi when everyone was off the ground. He watched the medics wheel toward the infirmary with Lilly and turned to the other riders. "Alright, let's get this battle done and over with!" he said, to a cheer.

She said nothing. She wanted to retaliate, but she didn't have the energy nor the willpower. Bobby had just died. Ethel could be mad if she wished, even if that anger was turned toward Jade. Tod responded to the slight pressure applied to his sides, and he jumped forward, powerful dark wings causing him to fly ahead of the others. "You are just as bad as she is." No. Please, no. Don't take me back. But her mind did, and she found herself standing by Joshua's gravestone, one hand resting on the top, the other limply holding a bouquet of flowers at her side. "You," spat a voice. Jade turned her head and saw a kid from school. She didn't know that he had ever even talked to Joshua, but apparently he cared enough to bring flowers on this rainy Thursday evening. She wondered why he spoke to her so angrily. "You're Jade, right. His friend?" She nodded slowly. What was he getting at? He shook his head slowly, angrily. "You're a liar and a murderer." He nodded at Joshua's grave. "You probably watched those girls walk right out of the school with him, didn't you? You did nothing. At all. You just let your friend go with these people that you knew would hurt him? What kind of friend are you?" He tossed his flowers the remaining distance and they landed against the gravestone. He was so disgusted by her that he wouldn't go any nearer. "Not a real one. You lied to Joshua, pretended to be his friend. And you know what all the anti-bully people drill into us. 'Those who do nothing against a bully help the bully.' You did nothing. You murdered him." He shook his head and turned to go. "You're just as bad as those girls who murdered him." He paused and looked over his shoulder at her, contempt and anger written over his face. "No, I'd say you're worse." With that, he strode off, leaving Jade weeping in a heap by Josh's grave.

She was pulled out of her memories by Tod, who was neighing urgently. She realized she was leaning halfway off his back and quickly slipping off. She grabbed for Tod's mane and her fingers snagged his hair. With dread she felt it rip out of his skin and, though she tried to pull herself up, she slipped off his back and tumbled toward the ground far below. With an anxious whinny, Tod swooped beneath her and she landed on his back. Thanks, she told him, shaking nervously and leaning into his neck. I thought I was a goner for a second there. Though, she added in her own thoughts, it might have been better if I was.
