"There's still the other head," she said to Eudora as they hovered above. "But it'll be slower with the other dragging. And the underground river is pooled at its feet - it'll make it harder for it to walk." She looked down at the beast. "So, what's the plan? Just charge it again?" "I hate those kinds of plans." Sorry, bud, but you're good at it. "Obviously. I'm the best at charging. But I still hate it."

Katie
Katie felt the Pesanta freeze and flinch as Jade slit one of the dog's throats. "I won't let that happen to you, don't worry." Katie soothed, slightly worried. When the others did find out about the Pesanta, what would they do?

"You know, I wonder if I can intensify the fire on its head..." Eudora thought. "I might be able to turn its head into a pile of ash." she stuck her hand out and closed her eyes. She felt the fire in the palm of her hand and all through her arm.

With a howl, the beast fell and lay still. "Um, Eudora, no need," she said. She craned her neck upwards and waved at Kahlen, grinning. "Nice shot!" she shouted. She let the underground river douse the flames on it's head and sink back into the earth. The whirlpool around her splashed to the ground and slithered back to the stream bed.

Eudora
Eudora opened her eyes. "Oh okay," she mumbled looking over at Kahlen.

Kahlen

Jade
She soared up to join the others. "Now that that problem's dealt with," she said, breathing a bit heavily, "Let's go find that shopping mall."

Kahlen

Bobby
He gave a small laugh. "Alright." And then his pegasus flapped its wings and with two strong beats it was off.

Jade
Tod followed eagerly, and she laughed as he took a moment to go in a circle, going upside down. She gripped his mane and held tight as her head faced the earth momentarily. Stop showing off. We have a quest to go on. "Hey, you have to admit that was fun." What, going upside down or charging a monster? He huffed. "Going upside down, obviously. I don't like monsters."

Eudora followed Bobby and Jade.

Katie saw the little puff of smoke before she felt the cat, and she zipped up her jacket so it wouldn't go plummeting down to the ground.

Jade
The wind ruffled her hair, causing it to stream behind her as she soared through the sky on Tod's back. She looked down, scanning the terrain below with some interest. It was mostly woods. She spotted a couple backyard ponds and smiled slightly.

Eudora flew up next to Jade. "So," she said looking forward. "What mall exactly are we going to?"
