"Hold on." Katie frowned from beside Jade. "You're halting our quest.... for a hair pin?" She could have been sure the lady was joking, if not for the deadly serious expression on her face. "You've gotta be joking."

Jade
She had known what they were searching for beforehand, but it was still unbelievable that their quest was being threatened for such a little thing. "Is it in this mall?" she asked the goddess, who turned to her. For a moment, her image flickered, and Jade was shocked to see her hair lengthen and change to a light blonde and her eyes change to a dark brown. Jade glanced at Kahlen, her brow furrowed in confusion.

Eudora
Eudora rolled her eyes slightly. Seriously? Why can't she do it herself? She was the one who lost them after all.

Kahlen

She frowned. She wasn't sure if the goddess was talking about Alex or Noah.. or both. She knew to be careful with Noah, he was a complete monster, but she was pretty sure that wasn't what Aphrodite was referring to. She folded her arms and asked her question again, unable to keep the sharp edge out of her voice. "Is the hair pin in the mall?"

Eudora
"Well I'm glad I don't have a crush..." Eudora mumbled half-smiling. "Why in the world would someone steal your hair pin?"

She didn't like how that sounded. "How do we know you're not the rebelling god?" She wasn't afraid to ask the question, because to be honest Aphrodite really could be. Especially the whole "that would be too easy" part.

She nodded, then glanced around the food court. She elbowed Eudora lightly. "Wanna look around? The Chinese smells heavenly," Jade whispered. She had a little bit of change in her pocket, and she honestly didn't want to stick around the love goddess.

"Food? Heck ya!" Eudora said perking up a bit.

She grinned and led Eudora away from the tables, heading toward the smell of the Chinese. Standing out front was an employee with a free samples tray. Jade grinned at Eudora. "Want a free sample?" the man asked. Jade smiled and nodded. "Yes, please." He handed her a piece of General Tsos chicken on a toothpick.

Eudora smiled and was given one of the samples. She nodded greatfully and took a bite. "Thtat's good," she said taking nother bite. "Do you like it?" She asked Jade.
