Jade
"Eudora, let's try that fire-water thing," Jade said as Tod leaped into the air and circled around the dog's heads, which snapped at him as he danced just out of range. She spurred him forward and swung her sword, which left a cut down one of the dog's heads. Tod galloped away from the second head that snarled and tried to pick them out of the sky. Jade summoned another blast of water and knocked the dog back a few steps.

"You got it!" she yelled to Jade as she threw a ball of fire at it. I hope I don't start a forest fire...

Katie
Katie saw her blade flash blue through her shirt before she felt the vibrations, and she cursed and snatched a semi-empty backpack from inside her tent, ushered the Pesanta inside and collapsed the tent, slinging the backpack into her shoulders and strapping her pack onto Adonis, shushing him as he danced away from her as she tried to get on. "It's not going to hurt you." She murmured, vaulting on and wrapping her hand in his mane as he took off into the sky, keeping her distance as she had no long range weapons.

Jade
As the fire hit the dog - dogs? - on one of its heads and ignited the fur, Jade had Tod go behind it. Tod flew higher into the air before he circled around, and Jade had him hover in the air as she redirected the nearby stream while calling the underground river up. The two merged and slammed with extreme force into the rump of the dog. Tod jumped higher up once more and flew back above the clearing. "Good job, Eudora!" she said, grinning at her friend momentarily before focusing back on the monster.

Eudora
Eudora looked down only to see that Bobby had put the fire out. She groaned. Alrighty lets see if I have enough body heat to summon fire... she closed her eyes and put her hand out. Her hand felt warm but no fire.

"Nonononono," Eudora tried again but with little success. She was too cold to produce fire. She looked at the beast, its hindquarters still on fire. She reached her hand out and brought that fire back to her hand, then struck it down at the dog again.

Bobby
He hurried to James's tent but turned as the boy beat him to it. Bobby ran back to the smoking ashes to scoop up his backpack and sling it over his shoulder. He mounted his pegasus and flew into the air, hovering above the clearing as he waited for the others.

Jade
She looked at Eudora and then down at the fire pit. "Okay," she replied as Tod hurried out of the way of one of the snapping maws. The other head was yelping, its cries of panic deafening as the fire started to head down its neck. Jade winced. Despite it being a monster, she couldn't help but feel bad. Jade pushed her hand down in the air, causing the water on the beast's back to push downward. The gigantic dog sat heavily before springing back to its feet, snarling. Jade summoned the stream and river again. The underground river slapped the head that wasn't blazing repeatedly, while the stream gathered around Jade and Tod. "Help!" Tod said, rearing in fear. It's okay, she soothed him, petting him between his ears to calm him, I'm controlling it. It formed a whirlpool around her, and she charged straight at the dog.

Eudora
Eudora brought the fire back to her, figuring the dog had had enough burning at that moment. She led her Pegasus to a tree and got up onto it. Taking a branch she cracked it and set it on fire. That'll be a good enough source right now. She hurled some more fire at the beast.

Jade
She slammed into the chest of the dog at full speed, the whirlpool cushioning the impact for her and Tod, but making it worse for the dog, which was pushed back. Tod flew away quickly, and Jade paused to think a moment. The one head shook itself, the singed fur almost gone in some places. Jade had the underground river pool at the dog's feet, then charged again, the whirlpool swirling and raging around her. She swung her sword with a passion as she darted around the heads, the whirlpool adding more confusion and sting to the attack. The water whipped into their eyes, noses, and ears as her blade cut and jabbed.

Eudora
Eudora hopped down from the tree and onto her Pagasus. She still had the burning stick in her hand, but she decided to throw it at the dog. It struck him and made his head catch on fire. She summoned a little bit of the fire back to her, and kept the rest on the dog. I could start up another fire... she went back over to the fire pit. Or I could run around and try to warm my body...

Katie
The cat in Katie's backpack writhed - it wanted to fight! This was it's territory, and it's people, for the time being - but Katie kept her calm, as to not distress Adonis. "Not this time, bud." She muttered, watching Jade and Eudora fighting the monster.

Jade
Now the other head was engulfed in flames. Jade and Tod flew over to the other one to avoid putting out the flames. Jade circled just out of reach before plunging forward. The water around her splashed into the dog's eyes, blinding it. Tod dove downward and Jade whipped her sword above her head for momentum before slicing the beast across the throat. Her stomach churned and she forced herself not to look at what she had done as Tod flew upward.

Eudora
Eudora looked back to see Jade slit its throat. She sighed in relief. She and her Pagasus flew up to where Tod and Jade were.
