I think that I would cry of happiness if we added Arab crosses. ArabxWelshes and ArabxPintos would be my dream ♥

I would love to see crossbreeds. Anglo Arabs happen to be one of my favorite breeds. I am not opposed to crossing of any breeds being a problem on a game, if someone only wants pureblooded horses, they can do that, if someone wants to take a great driving Arabian and breed it to a great driving Clydesdale to pick up on spec biases, so be it, that's their decision. I do see how open crossing could be challenging for artwork though, so specific crossing being slowly introduced would be amazing in my book.

Plus, I would love to see a really pretty Anglo artwork that has the ideal visual traits from both. I'm super excited now!

Maybe allowed outcrossing in single breeds could be added too with time (Appaloosa breed for example allows outbreeding to Arabian and QH, QH allows outbreeding to Thoroughbred, Paint allows QH and TB, etc).

Ooh, and the possibility of Mules with their ginormous goofy ears in all sorts of colors would just send me over the moon! They can be as sterile as they want so long as they're pretty!

It's a bit "meh" in my opinion. I could go either way on it. Especially because some horses in real life can be confusing...

For example, I have seen AQHA-registered Quarter Horses with Thoroughbred blood within the first two generations (parents or grandparents), yet they are not considered Appendixes and vice versa, where they are registered as Appendixes and not Quarter Horses. The lack of consistency confuses me to no end lol.

Honestly I've never been opposed to the idea of general crossbreeding, but it seems to be avoided on most sites. The only site I remember playing on that had it didn't have any horse art, just like a generic silhouette, so I think that made it simpler. For us, with having specific art, I think it would definitely get too complicated. But I still like the idea. If there are crossbreeds in the game, like the standard mutt variety, it makes it more fun to strive for the purebreds. It's also fun to kind of stick to a combination. Like if I wanted to focus on Friesian/Gypsy mixes I could make that a whole thing.

I'm all for the pure crossbreeds though. But honestly, if we're going to be getting breeds super slowly, like once a year or something, there are other purebred breeds I'd pick over most of the crossbreeds. I have no interest in any of the Arabian crosses. I saw someone mention Warlanders and THAT I could get behind. The rest is meh.

There are quite a few popular "pure" crossbreeds. I really like the idea.
I like the restriction to legitimate crosses as well. Ones that have been played out in RL and make sense ;)

I am with Helix on the mules :) I just bought one irl because he was gorgeous and friendly :) He's black and white with a badger face and he likes his ears rubbed loll

I would love crossbreeding honestly because that would eliminate my need for another certain Sim and make this one undoubtedly PERFECT in my opinion :) None of my breeds (except Arabs, andies, and fries) have been suggested yet, but I also only research few options. I think it would be cool to be able to throw more than 2 breeds into a cross, but I admit I have little self control on Equiverse lol

*hisses* POA poniessssss

I support this I guess, but only if either TB x Arab or Anglo Arab x Anglo Arab only, if that makes since. I don't want 75%, 25% horses. No no no. Either pure or 50%, preferably.

I would like donkeys, but I'm on the fence with mules, since they're sterile and couldn't be used for breeding...

@Raptor - I would allow Anglo Arabs to breed with both TBs and Arabs because otherwise it reverses one of the major reasons for allowing cross breeding, and that's to allow a larger pool of breeding.
