Mako (Little Valley)

Mako finished marking the borders and headed back to the pack, he wondered what he would do when he got there. He was thinking of probably laying down in the shade, but he wasn't entirely sure right then. He sped up to a trot so that it wouldn't take him long to get back, not that it really mattered how long it took him.

Codex (Free River Alpha)

The tall light red brown male turned to his beta Kirai and dipped his large head in her direction as a signal. Turning back he looked at the Queen then Bazu as he saw that her mate was there and gave a swift nod then backed up out of the den. Walking to Kirai he dipped his head in a greeting manor "If you would please it would really help me out" he said warmth shining in his yellow orbs as he continued on with his next thing to attend to.

(umm... a bit confused.... Kiyiya stayed back for her little brother lol)

Aqui - Rustling Wind Beta
He looked from one she-wolf to the other. When the stick snapped, he sucked in a breath. They would have to move in, now. He swished his tail really low and slow, then pounced right onto the doe's back. He trusted the she-wolves to go for her sides. Instantly, she started to buck and kick. He dodged her hooves and sunk his teeth into her rump to keep from slipping.

Shazda - Little Valley Delta
She crept through their territory, sniffing for prey. She turned to Pyro, hoping he had picked up a scent. She scanned the area on instinct, wondering if a squirrel would scamper down a tree or a deer walk in front of them. The hope was to no avail. She suppressed a sigh.

Vixen ( Rustling Wind)


Vixen didn't hesitate when she saw Aqui jump on the doe, she ran to it's side jumping up on it. She clamped down on the shoulder just inches form the neck, she used her body weight to try and bring it down, she wasn't going to let this meal get away from them. She inched closer to the neck, but had to stop due to the doe moving around to much. She let out a growl as she pulled on it, half her body hanging off of it.

Mako (Little Valley)

Mako entered camp, he noticed a few wolves where out. They must be the ones gone hunting, he saw Ahkan standing on the rock still. He wondered why he was still there, but didn't bother to ask anyone. He went to a shaded spot and slid down to a laying position, from where he lay he could see the alpha as well as a few other wolves.

Nyx (Rustling Wind Queen)

Waking up from yet another little nap she took she yawned stretching and pushed herself up into a sitting position. Once from there she stood up shaking her dark black pelt and taking a clumsy step foreword from all her weight. Walking out of the den she went to the closest puddle of water she could find and crouched down beginning to lap at the cool refreshing water.

Pyro (Little Valley Delta)

Stopping dead in his tracks with his nose to the ground he looked ahead seeing a thick bush of leaves and looked to Shazda with hope sparkling in his amber orbs. Motioning with his head to the bush he sniffed again the warm scent of rabbit flooding his mouth as he looked to Shazda hoping she would get the scent that he smelled. Looking back at the bush he lowered his body down mid way and began to walk foreword cautiously not to startle the prey.

Shazda - Little Valley Delta
She crept forward to smell the ground. Rabbit flooded her senses. Adrenaline raced through her blood. She crouched down, her ears flicking forward. She began to circle around the bush, knowing the rabbit was inside.

Pyro

Making his way closer and closer to the bush he stopped a few feet from it and gave a quick glance at the sky "This is going to hurt" he mumbled as he threw himself into the bush making contact and biting one of the rabbits not knowing there was two in there. Giving a swift bite to the spine he felt the rabbit go limp in his jaws as he struggled to back out of the bush he lept into. The other rabbit that got startled began hopping in Shazda's direction blind with fear.

Saphria

The signal given she ran forward leaping high over the brambles, hoping she hadnt ruined the hunt. Aqui was on its back, Vix on the shoulder but the doe was fit and healthy. She decided to take a risk which would end up with her being flung into a tree if she failed. Within a foot of the animals head she crouched, powerful muscles in her legs bunching and leaped for the deers head, sinking her teeth into the atlas joint that attached the skull to the spine. *click* joint broken. As the animal fell to the ground she let go of it's neck and her powerful jump sent her reeling over the deer into the bramble thicket beyond. She landed on her side which knocked the air out of her lungs. Her next breath came painfully, she shook her head to clear a slight foggyness and got to her feet. She looked back across the clearing to see what had happened.

Cana

The black she-wolf walked across the clearing wondering how the hunters were getting on, she so wished she could have gone hunting. As much as it was lovely having the first choice food brought to you she missed the exercise. Thinking of exercise she realised how unfit she was! If it came to a fight now she'd be useless, as soon as the pups are old enough to have mentors the bettershe thought.

Java - Rustling Wind Alpha

Java perked her ears when she heard movement behind her. Nyx had come out of the den and was now drinking from a puddle. Java jumped down from the rock happily. "Hey Nyx," she called out. She trotted over to Nyx, happy she had someone to talk to so to ease the boredom that had set in. "How are the pups doing," she asked as she motioned to Nyx's growing belly, though it looked as if it would explode if it grew anymore.

Kirai - Free River Beta

Kirai nodded and scanned the area, "Where are our deltas." She meant the question for herself, though it wouldn't matter if anyone answered or not. "Anyone going on the hunt, come to me now," she commanded, "I need as many as I can get." She looked around, waiting for someone to come to her, that is without force.

Bazu - Free River Delta

Bazu nodded back at the alpha, but still did not make eye contact with Codex. After Codex left, he could hear Kirai commanded members to come join the pack hunt. He didn't feel the need to get up right away, but he also knew that if he didn't then Kirai would probably come to the den and force him to go on the hunt. He looked to his mate still trapped in her nightmare and nuzzled her again.

Nyx (Rustling Wind queen)

Lifting her muzzle from the puddle she was lapping it she looked up seeing her alpha Java. Giving her maw a quick lick and sitting up straight she thumped her tail on the ground "Hello Java" she said a smile forming on her maw as her tail began to beat harder on the ground. "The pups are lively in there... I feel as if they could come any day" she said looking at her rounded stomach with unborn pups in it. "How are you doing today alpha?" she asked giving a small head tilt and blinking her pale yellow eyes at her.

Java - Rustling Wind Alpha

Java smiled, she was happy to know the pups were great. She was excited to have pups in the pack. "That's good to hear," she said with a wide smile as she sat down. She flicked the tip of her tail happily, "I am doing just fine, though it's a bummer I missed out on the hunt today." She would just have to tell Aqui to wake her before going next time.

Nyx (Rustling Wind queen)

Nyx nodded her head happily "Hopefully they catch something these pups are making me hungry for all different sort of things." she said looking at Java and then blinking her pale yellow eyes. "I just wish Summit could see them" she said sadly referring to her mate that died before she even told him she was expecting. Shuffling her paws she laid down on her side in a comfortable position and looked at Java. "Maybe the hunting party will bring back deer..." she said getting excited and beating her tail loudly on the ground next to her at the thought of deer.

Vixen ( Rustling Wind)

Vixen glad when she saw Saphria running to the doe, she was even more glad when they finally brought it down. She let go once the doe was on the ground, lookin to were Saphria had been flung. She seemed to be fine so she moved to the does neck to finish it off, she licked the blood of her muzzle when the deer was dead. "well that went well", she looked to both of them, "should we drag it back then".

Mako (Little Valley)

Mako let out a bored yawn, he was getting hungry and wondered how long till the hunting party came back. He laid his head down, looking at the alpha trying to figure out who the next Beta would be. Whoever was picked, he knew would the alpha would have a good reason to pick them.

Java - Rustling Wind Alpha

Java laughed at Nyx's comment before laying down in front of Nyx. "I'm with you and the pups, I want some deer." She sprawled out and turned to lay on her back so that she was looking at the sky. The sun was beating down, but it wasn't all that hot. She licked her muzzle at the thought of eating some deer.

Saphria (rustling Wind)

Shaking the leaves from her pelt she walked over to the deer, she would love to tuck into it right now but knew the rules Queens eat first. Something was snagging on her back leg, stupid brambles, why did I have to land in the brambles her ribs still hurt too i must remember to not let go when breaking the neck she thought. She looked to Vixen, "yeh let's get going".
