Vixen ( Rustling Wind)

Vixen let go of the deer once it was by the rock, since the alpha would eat first she went over to Nyx. She walked up to her wagging her tail, "we had a good hunt" she turned around so that she was looking at the deer and sat down. "I'm glad we where able to catch it", it was easier to catch big prey so that everyone could eat.

Java - RW Alpha

Java sat up when she smelled the hunting party nearing the camp. "A deer," she exclaimed as she wagged her tail happily. She went over to where they laid the deer and tore into it graciously. Her choice of meat was one of the shoulders. She tore it away from the rest of the meat and left the rest to the others.

Kirai - FR Beta

Kirai growled under her breath when neither of the deltas appeared. She walked to the queen's den and found Bazu with his mate, Ryaki. She was whimpering in her sleep and it almost made Kirai feel terrible about losing her temper. It seems like he might just have his hands full/ She let it slide, but that meant she absolutely needed help from Sniper. "Sniper," she called out, though not as a command.

Bazu - FR Delta

Bazu tensed when he saw Kirai enter the den with a tinge of anger radiating from her. He lowered his head in order to not make eye contact with her when he anticipated for her to yell at him for not coming to her call. Instead, she just walked away and called for Sniper. Bazu's muscles relaxed and he laid down next to Ryaki, waiting for her to escape her dream.

Chronos - LV Delta

Chronos rolled around, completely bored with himself. He always went down to the river to play. Well, he would try to catch some fish, but he never intended on eating them. Chronos gave a loud huff like sigh and rolled back to lay on his stomach. Today was a boring day despite the fact the Ahkan was selecting a beta for the pack. He didn't really care to get the status or duties that were behind it, he was perfectly content as a normal wolf, a delta.

Saphria

Watching Java tear into their prey her stomach rumbled, it had been a long time since the pack had had deer. Nyx needed to eat next but she was getting impatient and began pacing.

Cana

She gave Mako a smile even tho he hadn't actually agreed to watch the pups yet she knew he wouldn't let any harm come to them if they woke up. So she trotted across the clearing to the edge of camp and looked back on the quiet peaceful scene then continued on into the forest. Scenting the direction the hunters had gone she turned in the opposite direction so not to disturb them. phew it is so nice to be out of camp and free she thought. Building speed into a lope she made her way up the closest hill to camp which peaked above the treeline. At the top she paused to catch her breath and relief herself. Shaking out her coat she stood facing the wind, letting it buffer her. As she stood quietly she noticed a group of rabbits by the tree line, since she was hungry she crept down around them and crouched low so her scent didn't blow in the wind. Creeping forward she pounced and missed! WHAT?! I missed! she couldn't remember the last time she'd missed. She began chasing the rabbit and reached out a paw to slow it and finally caught it. Breaking it's neck she tucked into it right there and then feeling very frustrated with her physical state, having pups had made her fat and slow.

Ahkan LV Alpha

With a low growl, he jumped off his ledge and followed Cana quietly. Watching her miss the rabbit, then chasing it made him chuckle. Something he very rarely did, almost as rarely as he smiled. He couldn't remember the last time he smiled, it was long before the pups were born. Probably when he first met Cana, but that was some time ago, she was a young pup and he was in his prime, and was in training to be the next Alpha. He quickly shook his head of the thought and began waking towards her, now that she had caught the rabbit. "Cana, you're out of shape. Maybe you'll have to start training when the pups get their mentors.' He said, amusement hidden in his tone, though his smile and laugh from earlier were gone.


Ahruth LV Pup

The small silvery pup finally stop staring out into the clearing, ignoring everything his sister had said, though it wasn't clear if he had actually hear her or not. He curled up on the other side of Kiyiya, know he wouldn't get any sleep if he laid beside Zulik. It took him a while to fall asleep, but eventually his breathing slowed and he fell into a deep sleep.


Ryaki RV Queen

The light coated female finally awoke, her head shooting straight up, and she looked around, lost and confused. Her eyes finally landed on Bazu. Her eyes softened slightly, and she pressed her body against his, her head under his chin. "I keep having the same nightmare...over and over..." She whined, her eyes closed and ears pinned to the back of her head. Her body shook, and her muscles were tense, her tail tucked closely to her body.

Mako (Little Valley)

Mako gave Cana a question look as she gave him a smile and left, he looked to the cave expecting her pups to go after her only no one came out. He glared at the cave, he didn't like pup sitting and no doubt that was what Cana wanted him to do. He looked back to the rock where the alpha had been, he saw that he had left going the same way Cana did. He sighed and laid his head down, there was nothing else he had to do.

Cana

It's so good to catch my own prey for once... even though i missed it the first time she thought. Suddenly there was a voice near her, she sat bolt upright, tension lacing her muscles until she was it was Akhan. She'd had NO idea anyone was following her let alone Akhan! Embarrassment burned through her pelt of all the wolves to see me miss! she thought "uh ermm hi sorry what?" she was completely bamboozled by this surprise meeting. She cleared her throat "Hi Akhan, I havent been out of camp for well over a month, its hardly surprising!" her embarrassment lead to her sounding offended and annoyed "what are you doing out here anyway?" her tone softened slightly, it was nice to have a moment with her mate away from camp even if it was after embarrassing herself completely.

Bazu - FR Delta

Bazu almost jumped out of his own skin by the sudden movement of Ryaki waking up. He nuzzled her cheek, happy that she had finally woken up. He hated that she had to endure such a dream, but he couldn't help but wonder what the dream was about. "Would you like to tell me about it," he asked her, though he had no intention on forcing the information out of her.

Aqui - RW Beta
He dipped his head to his alpha, watching her eat. His ears were perked, listening for scuffles or arguments. When Java was done, he stepped forward. "Deltas, be patient," he said, a hint of a smile creasing his muzzle. "It's time for our Queens to feed." He nodded his head to Nyx and stepped back. He loved being the Beta of the pack. Despite his responsibilities, he enjoyed keeping order and making sure that pack arguments didn't get out of hand. He felt that his work helped keep packmates close to each other. One of the downfalls of his position was that many she-wolves felt they weren't worthy of him. He didn't feel that way at all. He didn't have too many friends that were close to him in a different way then the general closeness of a pack. His thoughts were private, his expression the same as before his mind wandered. Maybe someday he would find the right she-wolf.

Shazda - LV Delta
She clung to the fawn's leg, her claws digging into the soft dirt and pulling backward. She was trying to anchor the fawn there. She glanced toward where Pyro lay. She flicked her ears, hoping he would jump out soon. She hoped her holding the young deer down would help him get into the right position to strike quickly and efficiently. The fawn kicked at her with its hooves, barely missing her pelt. Again, it kicked, skimming her side. A slight throb kicked up there, but she ignored it. Wolves sometimes got hurt hunting prey. She felt the warmth on her side where the strike had hit harder. She might have a little bit of blood oozing out, but it would be lickable later. She concentrated on keeping the fawn here.

Kiyiya - LV Pup
She woke momentarily when a new warmth snuggled against her other side. She lay still until Ahruth's breathing became even. He was asleep. A soft smile warmed her inside as she turned her head to look at her little brother. He's so cute, she thought. She turned back, looking at Zulik. He's not as cute as Ahruth, but he's my big brother. She blinked sleepy eyes. I love my brothers, she thought. Her eyes were heavy again. She let them close, wondering when Mommy would be back to wake them up. Soon, her breathing evened out and she was in the dream world.

Nyx RW Queen

The dark black she-wolf dipped her head to Vixen thumping her tail on the ground. "That was a good catch you helped take down." she said dipping her head and then glancing towards Aqui the beta. Blinking her pale yellow eyes she nodded walking to the deer slowly and bending down slowly. Tearing into the tender meat and chewing it then swallowing it. Ripping off one last piece of deer meat. She stepped back pinning her ears against her skull as she closed her pale yellow eyes feeling the stomach ache come back to her from the pups. Opening her eyes slowly she turned around giving a half audible whine as she put one paw in front of the other going back to the Queen's den to lay down. Once inside she laid down in her nest putting her head on her paws and watching outside the den at Aqui and Vixen.

Pyro LV Delta
The light grey male shook his head quickly to snap out of the daze he was in. Launching himself at the fawns neck and biting down hard and throwing all his weight into the bite. He growled blood welling from the bite as he felt the fawn go limp beneath his grip. Letting go he stepped back pinning his ears "Sorry Shazda I froze for a moment I dont know what came over me like that" giving a half whine he looked to the dead fawn "Do you want to take the fawn and the rabbits back?" Pyro asked tilting his head as he looked back up to Shazda for approval.

Vixen (Rustling wind)

Vixen watched as Nyx went to eat, she couldn't sit still as she did. She gave Nyx a worried look as she heard her whine, she knew it was because of the pups but she couldn't help but worry. She stood watching as she headed to the queens den, she decided after she ate she would go and check on Nyx. As of now seeing as all but the deltas had eaten, she went to the carcass. She pulled a big chunk off and quickly wandered away, not wanting to be there when the others fought over it.

Saphria

Seeing Vixen jump in a take a chunk, she shot in too finally! It's so tempting to eat before the pack when you've just caught the thing! She tucked in to a haunch as the others came around to feed.

Vixen (Rustling wind)

Vixen sat down a few feet from the carcass, dropping her chunk of meat as she did. She took bite watching the others eat from the carcass, she didn't lie eating with the rest. She liked to eat alone, so that she doesn't get pushed around. She gulped down the rest of her food, and headed to the queens den. "hey Nyx how's it going", she knew the pups would probably be coming soon and she excited for her friend.

Aqui - RW Beta
He let out a fierce growl, quickly swiping the meat from Saphria. "Everyone, stay!" he growled lowly, rushing into the Queen's den. "Vixen!" he barked, his usual soft tone harsh. "Out here, now!" When all the Deltas were sitting around him, probably nervous because of his sudden outrage, he spoke. "What are the laws of the pack?" he snapped, pacing in front of them. "The Alpha eats first, getting the best of the meat. Then the Queens, to nourish their pups. Who is next?" The rhetorical question didn't sit in the air long. "The Beta!" He was outraged, not because they had eaten first, but because he needed to get his point across. Patience was key in a pack. His pacing stopped, and his tone softened. "Remember this next time." He dipped his head and padded to the deer, taking a chunk off and pacing away to eat it. He sat down by Java, dipping his head respectfully. "Was I too harsh?" he asked, his normal softness and meekness in place.

Shazda - LV Delta
She nodded, accepting his apology quietly. She turned and took a look at her side, grimacing. "Ouch," she mumbled, licking at the cut. She turned at his next question. "Would you mind dragging the fawn? I can handle the rabbits."

Vixen (Rustling wind)

Vixen slightly lowered her head as Aqui yelled to her, oops she knew exactly what she did wrong. She left the cave and went to sit with the other deltas, she waged the tip of her tail in apology. She still had her head lowered, listening to Aqui scold them all for what she had started. When he was done scolding them, she slunk away not wanting to hear from the others of what she did. She laid down near the deltas cave, looking to the trees not wanting to look at anyone.

Saphria

Shocked at another wolf trying to swipe her meat from under her nose she nearly lunged back before realising it was Aqui, their beta. Whoooops she thought, she lowered her whole body to seem smaller and hung her head. She hadn't meant to break any rules, she'd blindly followed Vixen with out a thought because she tended to look up to the cream coloured she-wolf as a role model. She'd always been ahead of Saphria in training as she was older so Saphria aimed to be like her. But Saphria was old enough to control her own actions and knew that. Watching Aqui go back to the carcass she suddenly didn't feel like eating her hard won catch, her head drooping she also skunk across the clearing and disappeared off to the nearest stream. In the peace and quiet she let her frustration out with a few tears, she just wanted to be older and wiser. She was sick of getting it wrong all the time.
