Saphria

As the conversation seemed to be moving towards introductions she thought now was her chance... She crept closer, *stand taller my dear, you'll look more...proper* her mothers words echoing in her head, her mother had tried hard to make her a 'proper' wolf but she just didn't fit in with her family. 'No point being a coward' she thought, so she stood tall and walked out of the long grass she was hiding in until she was 10 yards from the group of wolves.

Sacka:

"Yes, Maddox, they want to introduce themselves. They might consider joining us." she told him, sort of happily. She wanted them to join her, that is.
Sacka turned her head when a silver she-wolf walked closer. "And who are you?" she growled.

Saphria

She stood taller looking strong and proud under the scrutiny of these strange wolves even though she was actually terrified. "I'm Saphria, daughter of Thawro, king of the western mountains".

'Technically not true...' she thought to herself but it sounded better than her proper title which went on for about 5 minutes.

Sacka:

Sacka raised her head skeptically. "Is that so? Never heard of your father, then." she snorted. Hah, I highly doubt that's true...

Saphria

Her territorial protectiveness kicked in. She may not be with her family now but she would NOT take any mockery towards them. "Well then I am sorry for your ignorance" she turned away from the rather too cocky she-wolf to the large alpha male "hello, you must be Maddox" naturally she dropped her head in a submissive gesture to the bigger wolf. She'd picked up his name when listening in to their conversations earlier.

Juniper

"And I am Juniper, but of course you already knew that," she said to Maddox. She was actually happy to see him, and if he asked her now to join his pack then she would. But first, she wanted to know everything about his pack. "After all, you are my cousin," she finished saying. "I'm not here to catch up on family matters, though, I want to know about your pack and what happened to it.

Maddox

Maddox smiled warmly at Nero and the new female Saphria. "Hello to the both of you," he said with a warm greeting tone. After all, they hadn't joined Sacka's pack yet so they were fair game. He turned to Juniper who had now spoken. "Of course," he said with understanding. This time he wouldn't hold back any secrets in hopes that they would stick around and maybe, in the long run, they would join his side. "I lost control of my pack long ago when they saw me unfit to be an alpha for them. Many of them thought I was too power hungry and would be a sadistic leader. Many of the members soon left and by the time I realized my mistakes, my pack was practically gone. I want to make things different and the power will be more balanced than it was in the past. I want my pack members to feel safe. I have learned from my mistakes," he said in all truthfulness. He looked to his three pack members who stood behind him and smiled at them.

Jinx

Jinx was looking at Sacka as she was talking to another female, she quickly turned glaring at Juniper learning that she was Maddox's cousin. She let out a small growl, now she had another wolf to hate and no doubt she would join his pack seeing as they're family. "So you two are related that's good to know" her voice wasn't that friendly, she went to join Sacka ignoring the three.

Nero

"you don't seem that bad of an alpha" he really didn't, but that didn't mean he wanted to join. He sat down thinking "so you starting to gather others to join, just like those two", he gestured to Jinx and Sacka. He was liking Maddox more then them, he seemed to know what he was doing compared to the females.

Saphria

Smiling warming at Maddox her decision was made about which pack she would prefer. There has clearly been a lot of turmoil with packs in the region lately, she thought, this might be a good place to start new and my a name for herself as the packs were developing.

Sacka:

Sacka growled under her breath. "Me? Ignorant? You're the trespasser here." she noted aggressively. She didn't much like being called or treated like she was dumb. She had been trying to keep her cool, but it was hard. All of these wolves except her and Jinx were idiots! It seemed like the only other member she and Jinx would have would end up being that crippled she-wolf they found.


(btw, guys, don't think I'm being mean to you or whatever... that's just my character's opinion lol)

Saphria

She flicked her tail in a dismissive way at the rude she-wolf, there was no way that wolf was going to create a faithful pack with that attitude, seemed she only had one committed member anyway. Maddox was by far the better alpha here. "Maddox, your truthfulness is admirable" she stepped slightly closer to him and his pack to show alligence and to move away from the she-wolf with anger issues.

Sacka:

"Fine, then. You're just like him." Sacka growled. "I'm nearly done with this. They're all useless, anyway." she muttered crossly to Jinx, barely audible.

Maddox

Maddox stared at Sacka and smirked. "No wonder you don't have any pack members. You're far too young and you have such a big temper as always," he said pointedly. In a way, she reminded him of how he was when he was younger. Arrogant and short tempered with no patience. He noticed that Saphria had come closer to him and complimented him. "Thank you, secrets and lies don't work anymore even white lies."

Juniper

Juniper looked at Nero before making her way to Maddox, making it understood that she was on his side. "It definitely looks like you are outnumbered now, you might as well give up with this little pack of yours." She looked back at Nero and hoped that he would stick around even if he wasn't an official member of the pack. It seemed Maddox wouldn't mind if he stayed anyways.

Sacka:

"Maybe I don't want to be in a pack with you, anyway. This wasn't suppose to be a fight, you know, I wanted to be kind and introduce you, but it turns out you'll take his word over mine." she growled. It took all she had not to lash out.

Nero

Nero gave Juniper a small smile, but he didn't move over to their side. He didn't move to the two females either, he stepped away from both showing he wasn't going to be part of it. " I guess there's two packs then, if you can call them a pack" he looked to Jinx and Sacka as he spoke the last part.


Jinx

Jinx let out a growl everyone was taking Maddox side, except for the male Nero it seemed he didn't want to with either of them. "Let's just go there's no point in changing their minds", she glared at them before turning around and started to walk away. She saw it pointless to continue talking about this, she looked over her shoulder "coming Sacka".

Sacka:

"You can't just get rid of me." she growled lowly- almost a hiss -to Maddox and his followers. "I'm not done."
She trudged after Jinx, frustrated. Couldn't they see that he was a weak fraud? Sure, she had less pack members, but at least Jinx was loyal. Maddox couldn't keep his old members; what made him think he could keep his new ones?
