Juniper

Juniper scoffed at the wolf's comment before muttering under breath that even she could barely hear, "You would be the one to say that." She looked ahead at the lake, scanning it for the familiar face of Maddox. I hope he is nearby. She scanned the area once more and saw a small group of wolves near the lake's edge. "Is that him," she pointed in their direction.

Maddox

Maddox sighed, knowing he had to tell them the truth. "I failed as a leader after the majority of the pack left, I was already failing before but no one trusted me. Now my territory is at stake from lone wolves that want to take over and I'm afraid I might just have to step down as alpha," he spoke lowly. He sighed once more before perking his ears. He sniffed the air, smelling the familiar scents of wolves he knew, though some not so unfriendly. He also smelled a stranger. "Who's there," he commanded, turning to face the direction of the smells.

Sacka:

Sacka smirked at Juniper's remark, but chose to keep her mouth shut.
Her eyes drifted to the lake's edge in the distance. Some wolves were there. She was actually shocked- she just guessed that Maddox would be by the lake, and he was! I look like I know what I'm doing after all!

Saphria

Climbing the oak tree Saphria looks down on 3 wolves about 100 yards away. Furthur down the valley another group gathered by a lake... Her blue gaze followed her nose as she scented prey near by. Realising she hadn't eaten in a week she decided to scamper back down the tree quietly. Walking away from the wolves she'd glimpsed she pick up the trail of a hare.

Jinx

Jinx glared at Maddox as they got closer, "who do you think" she wasn't so kind as she spoke. She didn't like him so why should she be nice, she couldn't wait for this to be over. She looked back at Juniper and Nero, "there you now you can meet him".

Nero

Nero looked at the one they called Maddox he didn't seem so bad, and yet theses two she-wolves didn't like him. He wasn't going to make up his mind if he liked Maddox or not, he would get to know him first. He ignored Jinx and her attitude, he looked to Juniper "I wonder how this well go".

Saphria

Her sleek silver pelt glistened as dappled sunlight glinted through the trees, she was crouched low, very still at the edge of the woodland. A hare sat in the long grass 50 yards from her. She lifted a paw and softly placed it a step futhur... *SNAP* there had to be a twig just in the wrong place! 'damn' she thought as she leaped out of the forest and chased the hare at full tilt down towards the lake. The wolves she's seen earlier were at the back of her mind as the hare broke out along the shoreline straight towards a group of wolves in a tense discussion...

Jaspar

Jaspar nodded his head as he took in the information. "You've obviously changed as an alpha," he spoke truthfully, "you will forever be my alpha." There was no doubt in his mind that he had every ounce of his loyalty put into Maddox.

Link

Link twitched his ear when he heard the noise of a twig cracking. He turned around and headed in the direction to investigate further. "Hello," he spoke boldly. He looked around for the source of the sound and spotted a silver wolf just ahead of him. "Um, hello," he said this time less bold, "who are you?"

Juniper

Juniper looked at Nero when he spoke. "I hope it goes well," she said before looking back in the direction of Maddox. She took a step in the direction ready to face him. She put all her worries behind her and led the way, looking behind her once to be sure that Nero was coming with her.

Maddox

Maddox gave Jaspar a half smile, "Thank you for such loyalty." He turned his attention back to the wolves that he had scented and this time he saw them coming closer. He perked his ears and stood tall, watching them closer. It hadn't gone unnoticed that Link had wandered off into the woods, though he wasn't exactly sure for what reason. Another wolf maybe.

Akita

She listened beside Maddox, smiling at the brothers. "Maddox, if they have faith in you to lead well, im sure you wont have to step down" she whispered to him as she watched the four incoming wolves. "oh boy" she muttered once she saw Jinx and Sacka

Nero

Nero followed Juniper, if he was going to meet Maddox he was going to him with her. He stayed silent as they got closer, there wasn't really anything to say right then. He would stay on guard, never putting it down until he really knew this guy.

Saphria

The hare had seen another group of wolves and bolted away. Saphria was left staring after it hopelessly at the waters edge. Suddenly she was aware of other wolves, looking around she spotted Link who seems to have said hello. She dropped in to submissive ness as two wolves approached "hello...I'm Saphria" her nervous body laungage said more than her words.

Sacka:

Sacka grinned when she saw Maddox with only a couple other wolves, even though the scar on her cheek still stung faintly. That's probably all the members he has!
"Why hello, Maddox." she greeted him. "You have... visitors."

Akita

She watched Sacka and Jinx and could see the smug grin on Sacka's face, Who does she think she is? We have twice the wolves in this pack than she currently does, she shouldn't be so confident. she twitched an ear at the annoying little wolf before turning and looking at the two strange wolves But if she's so confident then that must mean they are apart of her little gang, though she may annoy them as much as she annoys me she thought, trying to keep her body language neither aggressive nor friendly until she knew what they were there for, and what Maddox would like to do. She had to remind herself that she was in a pack now and wasn't her own alpha anymore

Saphria

Observing the confrontation in front of her between a large male and a cocky female wolf she creeped backwards out of sight to wait for the tension to be over and work out which group is the strongest.

Maddox

Maddox gave a low growl though not as threatening as it could have been. No use wasting all my energy on this snide little pup. He looked at the two wolves behind him, realizing one was familiar. Juniper. He hadn't seen her since she was a pup herself. He stared at her intently while trying to figure out why she was with Sacka and Jinx. Is she a part of their "pack". His body language gave off no indication that he knew her as his family though she didn't know if Juniper had already told them or not. "Yes, I have company, they are pack members and by the looks of it, it's more than you have," he smirked at his snide remark to her. There was no way Juniper would side with that pup in her lifetime. "I can see you have company as well, care to introduce us or have you just come to show off what little pack you seem to be trying to start?"

Juniper

Juniper was surprised when Maddox showed no weakness towards them though she shouldn't have been too surprised. He is an alpha after all. Though she couldn't help but notice that there was some truth to the two wolves words. He was indeed low on pack members. All the more reason to join his pack I guess. By the looks of it, he had more pack members than the other two had. He had over twice as many since to her knowledge, the two wolves had none. "I wanted to meet you to see if what these two were telling the truth. They have some truth to it, but you hardly look weak to me." He didn't look weak at least not from the standpoint of ranks and numbers.

Jinx

Jinx rolled her eyes at Maddox, she looked at his so called pack members. She saw the female Akita that they had meet in the forest, she couldn't help but growl a little at the sight of her. "They just wanted to meet you so they could join us" though she kind of didn't care if they did or not, even though Sacka wanted them to.



Nero

Nero looked over Maddox he didn't look weak at all, but if this was all his pack then those females where right about that. "I'm Nero you must be Maddox" he thought he might as well introduce himself instead of waiting to Juniper to. He wondered if Juniper wanted to join up with Maddox, he still didn't want to join in a pack he just wasn't all that sure about it.
