This suggestion has been marked as "Added To The Game". Thank you, Raptor, for the suggestion and to those of you who supported for making Equiverse better!

I'm pretty sure in the old EV, there was a wand that let you remove gray from one of your horses. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure there is no longer an EVC item that lets you do this, and I think people would really like one.

Every time I have used a randomizer on a gray horse, it has simply removed the gray and left the original base color. That in mind, I'm not entirely sure if it's necessary so I won't vote for or against.

A randomizer *will* always remove the grey (you can't get grey using a randomizer or an applicator), but it also randomizes the base color, so you may or may not keep the genetics that the grey is hiding.

@Only the Wind: that's why I want an item that only removes gray. I want to see what color my foals end up without changing anything but the gray.

@Notori: I'm really trying to keep my new project herd down to 2/3/4 horses at a time, so It may take me a while to do that. Maybe not, but all that depends on my new foal that I'm soon to be breeding. It's to-be mother is gray, so there's a possibility he/she will be too. I also want to breed for color, and I've specifically picked a patterned stallion to be it's father. If I just randomize the foal (if he/she turns out gray), then I run the risk of losing the pattern as well.

Yes, there was one previously. Handy thing, but I'm assuming Abbey had her reasons for removing it. I'm a little split on it - I *did* use them when they were available and I really really really wanted grey to go away on any given horse, but at the same time I understand working for it - that is, breeding it out of your lines without any 'magical' influence. :D Some breeds seem to come with some more desirable colors/modifiers underneath grey (foundation Chincoteagues, specifically... sure was frustrating seeing the genetics that were hiding under the GG on a lot of the horses I ended up with, lol... ended up not keeping them as I didn't have time for extras, but those are a case where I can see maybe NOT having a grey remover since it would give you immediate access to desirable genetics that otherwise have to be worked for).

I'd support the return of these wands anyway. :)

I rather like having EV this way. If you don't have the credits you have to strive for color like we use to. When I bred DWBs it took me at least three generations to breed out Grey from my lines. Did it take forever, sure, but by the time my horses were grey-ed out they were awesome. Sure it takes time...its a game.

You are still able to pay the coat changer for credits if you don't like it. Please dont go back to credit items for every color modifier under the sun. I feel like if we choose to allow credit items for gene modifiers than sooner or later we will be back in the boat of allowing for every single fricken one again. Having more of these modifiers makes horses less desirable after a while. Because EVERYONE will be able to have the genes accessible through credit items does not mean its a good thing. Genes will mean nothing because everyone will already have them in their herds...

ok...end rant I think...

^ I don't feel the 'slippery slope' argument is valid. This suggestion is for one type of credit item and should be judged on its own merit, not on the grounds that suggestions not being proposed here may also happen.
