Solstice slowly made her way towards the castle. Although she was eager to get Raja back, she knew she was in unknown territory. Solstice had no idea what was on this island other than the castle peering over the trees in the distance. Despite this, she remained on high alert often stopping to investigate any sound she had heard. It may have been possible that she was scared of being turned into a stone statue again, but Asher was gone. According to Nysa, the sword would put an end to him forever. What she didn’t know was that Crimson used little Raja to bring back Asher.

Maybe Solstice had a small fear towards the stallion. After all he managed to end her life when Dra never did. Although she sacrificed herself to save Nysa, Solstice knew she couldn’t be too careful. She had to prevent it from happening again. Especially with everyone that depended on her. Solstice slowed to a stop as some statues came into view. Most of them were broken and covered in things like moss and vines. Not everyone was saved that day. Solstice let out a small sigh before she continued on soon reaching the castle. Once the entire castle came into view, Solstice stood on the tree line investigating it. Although she was desperate to get Raja back, something was telling her not to go inside the castle.

Nysa sighed as she put Asher’s book away. Instead she focused back on the spellbook that Solstice gifted her, “Maybe I should look again. There has to be something in here.” she mumbled to herself just before she flipped a page that had caught her eye. It was exactly what she was looking for. The page spoke of horses having a bond so strong, they could share each other’s pain. Yet, she read nothing that spoke of a cure. “Of course there’s nothing in here to help Scorn.” she snorted before looking up at her father. She almost didn’t realize he was there.

Orion stayed with Scorn until he looked over at Nysa. He briefly left Scorn as he walked over to Nysa. As he got closer, he could hear her mumbling things while seeming to get frustrated. “Nysa what’s wrong? There’s something bothering you, and you’re not hiding it as well as you think you are.” he asked in a calm manner hoping she would drop the act and tell the truth about things. Although he himself was putting up an act, but someone had to keep themself together. With Solstice and Raja who knows where, Orion was worried sick and scared about what could happen. Especially since the night they did lose Solstice.

Nysa looked down at her book hesitating, “I just have this really bad feeling about everything…about everyone. I don’t like that mom is out there all by herself while the rest of us are stuck here. Not after what happened. A-and what does Crimson want with my little sister? The others? Not to mention Dra is here in the herd acting like everything is fine. I’m just…scared..” she admitted almost refusing to look at Orion as a tear or two came to her eyes, “There’s nothing I can do to help Scorn either…o-or anyone for that matter.”

Orion frowned when he heard everything she had said. He simply nuzzled her softly to comfort and calm her, “I’m scared to Nysa, but everything will work out. It always does. We’ll figure everything out, but I’m sure your mother will be just fine. Let us hope that she returns with your sister and the other missing members of the herd.” he said before looking down at the book, “What matters is you tried to help. Once Grey Cloud comes back home I’m sure the both of them will be just fine. Until then all of us just have to hang in there.”

Namir snorted as he looked at Dra from a distance, “What are we supposed to do with him? I swear I want to just go and attack him with everything in me, but I can’t put the herd at risk.” he said clearly quite upset. Namir looked at Ariadne, “Who could he have been talking about escaping? As a goddess I’m sure you would know.” The stallion then started to pace back and forth trying to think about everything. “They never can stay dead can they?” he snorted furiously underneath his breath.

Ariadne looked at the mortal stallion who was quite furious with everything. Soon her spear disappeared due to not needing it for the time being. “I have no information about who could have escaped, but if it happened since I’ve been in the Isles, I wouldn’t know. Dra is a liar is he not? I don’t think I would believe everything he says.” Though Ariadne didn’t know Dra like Namir did, “I would advise against attacking him considering he already took your life once.” Namir then came to a stop as he looked at the mare before he looked at the scar on his chest. A mere snort escaped him as he continued to pace back and forth.
