Isles of Somewhere | Sequel Rp

     It took a second for Solstice to realize what Nysa said before she flew off, "You what!? Nysa!" Solstice hollered a bit as Nysa flew off, "Stay away from that thing!" she hollered again. Orion couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle as Solstice seemed to give him a death glare with her ears pinned. She clearly had that famous mare face in that moment, "Why are you laughing? Our daughter is putting herself in danger by getting near that thing!" she said a bit mad, but still trying to figure out everything that was going on, but then she calmed herself realizing she was scaring Raja more. The Poor thing.

     Orion just stopped laughing and lowered his ears slightly. Yep. Solstice was back. Definitely. Though he just nuzzled her and Raja reassuring them that everything was going to be alright, "Our daughter is just like her mother. Always putting others before herself even if it's dangerous." he said as Solstice just gave him another look, "Nysa is just like you Solstice. She has Eclipsetess and Nature looking out for her. Just like they look out for you. She'll be fine." he said reassuring Solstice as she knew he was right, she just didn't want to admit it.

      Though Nysa heard her mother, she ignored it completely. For some reason this bull was after this strange mare, and she just wasn't going to let it harm her when there was something she could do about it. Like her father said, she was a lot like her mother. Nysa did her best to hide the mare behind her by keeping her wings spread out, but not entirely. Thankfully, Eclipsetess and Nature helped out with that, but Nysa kept her wings spread out anyway. A way of showing she wasn't going to back down, and this time she didn't show fear. Not when this bull was after this mare.

      This time Nysa made eye contact and kept eye contact with the red bull. She didn't say a word. She didn't need to. She didn't bother to look back. Instead she kept eye contact with the bull and showed him that she wasn't going to back down. Luckily he backed up some, and even titled it's head some, but Nysa just slowly stepped towards it. The closer she got, the more her necklace glowed like it wanted her to stay away from the bull, but Nysa didn't care at all. She still didn't even say a single word. Not one. Not even a sound.

       When Nysa got close enough, she flew up to the bull's eye level. It seemed like the bull's attitude and everything had changed. Nysa wasn't doing anything except getting close to it which seemed to make it look like he was being controlled, but maybe he was. Eventually Nysa stopped getting closer until she was close enough. Merely feet from the large bull, but then she just hovered there.

       Solstice, Orion, and it seemed like many others in the herds were watching. Even Solstice and Orion didn't know what to think, but Solstice still didn't like her daughter being that close to the bull, but she knew Orion was right and she couldn't do anything about it. She just made sure she helped Raja relax and calm down before making Nysa didn't get herself hurt. She was just nervous that something was going to happen. Which a mother should, as well as a father. Even Althea was awake and was watching amazed by her granddaughter.

The red bull continued to watch Nysa, he then flicked his tail, as any creature would flick their tail. But he had surprisingly sharp teeth that didn't look normal for sure, but nothing was normal for this red bull anyways, actually nothing was ever normal really. But the bull kept his eyes transfixed on Nysa, he did back up again, seeming like any horse that would stand up to this big bull-y would make him back up. Which was unusual, then again what am I saying?

Eclipsetess noticed how the red bull kept his eyes trained on Nysa, seeming to be transfixed, like the two were just staring at each other now, Nature also saw this strange manner but she just relaxed since the red bull wasn't doing anything. At least not yet, besides flicking his tail.

"Well this is quite strange." Eclipsetess spoke up, Nature nodded, the entire time was quiet and nothing made a sound- somewhat, but no one moved out of the ordinary of watching, Eclipsetess was relaxing a bit as well. But she would tense up when the red bull would flick his tail.

Maybe silence isn't so bad when a new creature that is staring, at someone that wants to stare at the creature, even though the red bull was backing up sometimes, but not enough to make the bull leave the Isle altogether even though he didn't hurt anyone, yet. But he doesn't seem like the type to get into nasty fights, just the bull that seems to be herding.

Eclipsetess then perked up at the bull, she then realized that the red bull was herding pure white unicorns somewhere, seeing as the white mare tried escaping, still she didn't seem to know what to do after she caused something. But she does seem to want to not be near the red bull, even though he did seem like and now felt like he herds when he looks like he's being controlled.

"He's herding... He's herding white unicorns!" Eclipsetess spoke up, Nature seemed surprised, but she knew that Eclipsetess was right since the red bull didn't attack anyone or tried too with his massive body, Nature then went to connecting the dots since Eclipsetess was taken aback by herself. Surprising to anyone that heard Eclipsetess speak up.

"Part of the legend said that the big red bull would herd pure white unicorns to somewhere, where a person was awaiting the unicorns, so he must've been searching for a pure white unicorn and one of the mares must've followed us out of curiosity." Nature said, she was right then and there, the big red bull was herding and not attacking. Which was something else, but it made sense since the bull was backing away from Nysa, like he didn't want to mess with her since he could tell that Nysa was powerful alright.

"This was the easiest creature that we figured out quite faster then expected." Eclipsetess told Nature, the two mares giggled, before Nature turned around and opened the vines to check on the pure white mare, which she was sleeping peacefully, seeming to not be bothered by the noise outside. Which was good that the white mare was sleeping with noise outside, but if she was more then exhausted and exhausted then it was fine.

Nature turned around, as the vines quickly re-wrap itself when Nature let go of the vines, letting the vines swing like a curtain before they quickly wrapped itself back up, interesting but the big red bull was still the problem that needed to be solved for everyone's safety!

     Everything had never been this quiet before, and once Nysa realized it, she realized everyone was watching her. Which made her a bit uncomfortable, but she kept her eyes locked on the bull. She kept her main focus on the bull. Occasionally, Nysa got closer to it as the flaming bull backed up away from her, but Nysa wasn't sure what she was supposed to be doing. She couldn't keep this bull like this forever, and it was a bit harder to keep eye contact once she realized everyone was watching.

     Though when Eclipsetess spoke up about what the bull was doing with the white mare, Nysa almost looked away. Thankfully she didn't and kept her eyes fixated on the bull. Nysa did however listen to her aunt and Nature as they spoke, "But why white unicorns? There's tons of unicorns, pegasi, alicorns, and many other horses with magic. Many with more powerful magic." she said since it didn't make much sense to her, but she was still young, "Could she have been the last one?" she asked.

     Nysa then went silent for a moment before she spoke a second time, "I can't keep eye contact with this thing forever. We need to do something about it. It'll surely go after this strange mare again." Nysa said as she got close to the bull again causing it to take a step back, "What do we do?" she asked ready for all of this to be over. She was already tired as it is, but once this was all over, the only thing Nysa would be doing was getting some sleep.

     Either way everyone was still watching and everyone was still quiet. Even Moon woke up and stood up watching Nysa. Everyone knew she had a way with animals, but nothing like this. Namir was with the mare that Eclipsetess kept their foals with making sure they were alright before he watched his niece. It was definitely a strange day. No doubt about that, but Nysa just didn't know what to do now that the bull was completely focused on her and not the white mare. Hopefully it would stay that way.

Nature then used her magic to bring her a book, a very old book that seems to have contained older legends, some like the red bull's legend were burned away, but Nature seemed to have a copy of the oldest and dustiest book that it could be. Though Nature got to flipping through pages until she landed on a page with the title "Aatxe" and two red bulls are shown to be different.

"Alright this red bull is a chaser, which means he is herding this white unicorn mare for a reason, to serve his "master". But the red bull is only found when someone does not have or show fear, which means this red bull is on a mission." Nature spoke up, she looked at the red bull and back at the page with the red bull, and that the red bull shown under another red bull. On the same page, but the two bulls have different descriptions.

"But it seems like this one does not know what other creature exists, so Nysa, the red bull in front of you doesn't know what you are. But a white unicorn mare can drive the beast back into the sea, as the master of the red bull would soon follow in a demise. So you might be able to drive the beast back into the ocean, but its a slim possibility." Nature told Nysa, Nature read the red bull's page description in its entirety, but Nature also added onto the bull's page.

"There's also another red bull, but this first one on the same page and the first bull seems to punish only the evilest creatures, but he's only been seen once, so we might not be able to see two bull fighting over protection. And that this first bull is an extremely old legend, like the ancestors wrote it." Nature spoke up again, Eclipsetess began to think about what Nature said, and the mare caught onto what Eclipsetess was thinking, but she wanted to hear out Eclipsetess first. But it would be cool to see two red bulls of different legends fight over one thing.

"Are you able to summon the first bull?" Eclipsetess asked Nature, Nature go right onto researching about the first bull on the page, Eclipsetess was just hoping that the first bull was able to be summoned, so that the bull in front of everyone would be able to go somewhere else and not cause any more problems.

"Yes but its a "Half and half" thing, where the first red bull can be summoned, but it might not want to be summoned. Unless we put a fire of the red bull's fire in the summoning." Nature told Eclipsetess, heck she also told Nysa as well, though the red bull now stayed still. And he knows that he can't go far from the white unicorn mare, so he'll stand his ground now, and he won't back up anymore then where he is standing.

     Nysa didn't look to see what Nature was doing. She didn't want to make the mistake of looking away and be the cause for something bad to happen. Like the first time she tried getting close to the bull. That and she didn't want to be crushed by it's large flaming hooves. Nysa didn't even want to think about that possible outcome. Instead she just kept doing what she was doing for as long as she could. She rarely even blinked.

     Though Nysa did listen to Nature as she read out loud, "So that's the mission? It still doesn't explain why it's meant to herd white unicorns. What's so special about a white unicorn?" she asked even though she knew she wasn't going to get an answer for that question, "And who is this "master?" she asked herself curiously. Always a curious one she was. Just like her mother when Solstice was younger.

     She was confused when Nature said the bull didn't know what she was. Nysa just slowly and lightly landed on the ground giving her wings a minute to relax, but she still kept eye contact with the large red flaming bull, "What do you mean it doesn't know what I am? I'm an alicorn..at least I think.." she said starting to mumble to herself. Though Nysa didn't even know if the white unicorn mare was still there or not, but Nysa also didn't really want an answer to that question. She knew the bull could lash out again at any moment if it wanted to.

      "If it doesn't know what I am, why did it try attacking Scorn when he tried approaching it?" There went another question she had. Always with the questions. Though Nysa just sighed, "If I have a chance of driving it away, I'm going to try anyways. Even if it's a slim chance." Nysa wasn't going to let the bull end up harming anything, and so far she was the only one that could somehow keep it under control, but even Nysa didn't know what she was doing or even how she was doing it. 

     Nysa's ears perked, "There's a second one!? Why must there always be more than one?" she said mumbling that second part to herself. One bull was bad enough, but two? "If this first bull is real then the second one has to be as well. Where was it when my mother fought Dra or when Asher..." Nysa just stopped talking at that second, and she didn't say anything for a few minutes. Soon later she flew right back up to the bull's eye level once her wings got a moment or two to rest, but she wouldn't be able to keep eye contact forever.

     When Eclipsetess asked if the second bull could be summoned, Nysa didn't like the sound of that. "How about we not summon the other bull? One is enough, and we don't need a bull fight that could destroy everything..and potentially everyone in their path." Nysa said. Though then she got quiet as she looked at the bull. Something was different. She could feel it, "I don't think the bull will back off any further....we have to hurry and do something cause I don't think I can keep him here for much longer..he's starting to stand his ground." Nysa said starting to get worried.

     Nysa was merely a few feet away from the bull. His flaming red body, pure white eyes, and even his horns. She had to be more careful now unsure of whether or not he was going to try to charge. To prepare, Nysa just made her horn glow causing the moon markings on her forehead and rump to glow as well as the stars on her body to do the same. In case the bull tried to do anything, Nysa was ready to hit him with a attack spell that would hopefully get her enough time to fly out of the bull's path if it was needed.

"Yes yes, I'm looking for something that we can weaken the bull enough so that he will back off to give us time." Nature spoke, she really read fast, and slimmed through each page. Hopefully to find something that would weaken a red and fiery bull that's right in front of them.

Eclipsetess started to take notes, noting each thing that the red bull was, even though it seemed like the red bull was only around unicorns that were white, which might be a terrible thing, but might not either. Eclipsetess then noticed how Nature closed the book as she was stumped on what to do.

"I can't find anything about the red bull besides the description, and it seems like that the red bull doesn't have weaknesses either. Besides a weakness that says "a pure white unicorn mare, with purple eyes, must stand up to the red bull. Driving him back to the ocean." and nothing else." Nature spoke, she then realized that the white unicorn mare that was chased, was the only one to drive the red bull back to the ocean, and hopefully to make sure that the red bull won't come back ever again.

"The white mare.." Eclipsetess started lowering her wings, an opening was opened as the white unicorn mare jumped through the hole, making the ground shake a tiny bit, but it was a high jump after all so it made sense that the unicorn mare would jump through it to land down onto the ground.

"Well... If that's what the book says, then I'll be the brave one to drive the red bull back into the ocean." The unicorn mare spoke, Eclipsetess then went over to Nature as she layed down to rest, Nature just looked and watched the mare, noting her hooves that were weirdly cloven shaped instead of a hoof shape.

The red bull heard that the white unicorn jumped and landed, he even heard her voice as well, and that the red bull shifted his eyes over to the white unicorn mare, who was walking up to the red bull without looking scared. And that he looked at Nysa, before looking at the white unicorn mare, as she got closer and closer as the bull started to back off, and the red bull tried to make the white unicorn mare turn around...

But the unicorn mare reared up a little bit, making the bull try and make the mare back up, which worked but the unicorn mare reared up again, and even swung her horn with her head. The bull kept backing up, he thought that he broke the unicorn's free-will, but that came back and bit him in the rear end.

And the bull kept backing up, before swinging his horns in the air, and then turned around as the unicorn mare got to leading the red bull to the ocean, or somewhat of the ocean at least. But the red bull's fire and the lighting from his flaming body disappeared, as well as the unicorn mare who got to make the red bull submit and go to the ocean to stay there forever...


Eclipsetess was silent, as the unicorn mare didn't return yet, but the titan got up and started walking to where the unicorn mare and the bull went, Nature sighed as there wasn't a threat anymore. But she was nervous about what Nysa watched and unfolded before her, and that Eclipsetess walked up to Nysa to check on her, and see if Nysa was hurt anywhere.

"Well now we have peace again, and our protector went to check on the unicorn mare, he should return anytime soon!" Scorn broke the silence, he was his cheery and happy self, Eclipsetess sighed and layed down on the ground to relax after the tension died down completely. Nature was still worried for Nysa, but she knew that Nysa would have to check her family now.

And Nature helped Eclipsetess to her foals and Namir, that the two foals started to relax as the mare that looked after them started to comfort the two foals, but Nature trotted over as she nodded at the mare, which in turn, the mare nodded and walked away with a happy smile!

Nature then looked as Eclipsetess stood up slowly, she was carried by vines that lowered to the round, Nature was using her magic a bit more then usual now- which was good, since Nature's not just using her magic sometimes or rarely anymore, and Eclipsetess nuzzled her two foals before she nuzzled Namir. Nature then left the four alone to be alone together, and to calm down as Eclipsetess began laughing before placing her head on Namir's back, the two foals walked up to their parents and Eclipsetess looked at them happily.

     Nysa kept her eyes on the bull just like she had been this whole entire time, but she could see he wasn't going to just stand there for much longer. Either way Nysa watched every movement he made. Small or large. It didn't matter. Whenever he moved, Nysa saw it. Though she hoped Nature would find something quickly before anything got destroyed or even before someone got hurt. It was only a matter of time at this point, but Nysa was patient and just kept doing what she was doing.

     At least until Nature spoke up and said she couldn't find anything else about this flaming red bull, "No weakness? Oh come on! Everything has a weakness." she said muttering things to herself. It was clear she was fed up with the bull, but she knew it would be proven useless to attack it. Even if it attacked her first. Though she thought about all of the little critters that were previously hurt. This bull just seemed interested in this white mare, so why would it hurt the animals of the forest? 

     Though Nysa had completely forgotten about the white mare. She didn't even know if the mare was even there until she heard an unfamiliar voice, but Nysa still didn't look away from the bull. Not until the bull was fixated on the white mare. Nysa let out a small quiet sigh of relief before she flew back a bit as well as flying higher as she watched the white mare just in case. As the white mare drove the bull towards the beach, Nysa flew higher over the trees following them just to make sure the are wasn't hurt at all by the bull.

     Nysa did realize there was no sign of the white mare once the bull was pushed into the ocean, but she just hoped everything would be fine as she turned back to the herd. She was definitely tired. Though Nysa just looked at Nature and her aunt as Eclipsetess looked her over, "I'm fine aunt Eclipsetess..just tired..." she said as her voice was dull. Nysa then just flew over to a quiet spot and laid down curling up. She didn't even bother to check on her family. She needed some sleep first.

     Solstice couldn't help but to worry as she watched her daughter. She didn't like her daughter being that close to the bull, but there was nothing she could have done about it. Though she was more worried when she watched Nysa fly over to a quiet spot and laid down on the spot, "I'm worried about her..." Solstice said quietly, but she just made sure Raja was alright since the previous events scared her. Thankfully she calmed down, and seemed to have already laid down. 

     Orion watched Nysa before looking at Solstice, "Just let her rest. She's been busy these past few days caring for you, helping Minette, dealing with that...bull. I'm sure she'll be fine after she gets some sleep." he said before he laid down beside Solstice. She just nuzzled him before laying her head on his back like always. She always loved his soft coat, and eventually she just closed her eyes.


     Namir nuzzled Eclipsetess and their two foals happy that she wasn't harmed. He always worried about her, but that was his job. Worrying about the ones he cared for, and that included Moon. As the day's passed, he started to get more and more worried about her. Dreading about the day that was coming, but he didn't say much about it. He was oddly quiet for some time, but for the moment he just enjoyed the time he was spending with his family. His family was the most important to him after all.

Mhm, and after a long while of doing other things, mundane things, and relaxing... a new day that begun as the sun to signal the new day, as usual, though this time... Eclipsetess was looking over a book carefully, she was studying within studying the book itself, not sure how that works, but she was looking it over as well as the other books that she surrounded herself with. She was just working hard on studying each and every detail carefully, as with many others within the herd, though Esmeray shortly grew interested in what Eclipsetess was doing. Since he was continously rolling around like a goofball as usual.

Esmeray lowered his head a little since he noticed that Eclipsetess was really studying each detail within the book, but he did notice that Eclipsetess's left ear was pricked and moving around, as it signaled that she was well aware of Esmeray's presence when she was reading and studying.

"Um, Eclipsetess?" Esmeray spoke up, he was nervous but he maintained his composure when he spoke, not really letting go of his nervousness that was hiding within his voice but at least he hoped that Eclipsetess didn't notice the nervousness that was there a bit.

Eclipsetess then glanced up at Esmeray, she also teleported some silver librarian glasses onto her nose, at least to just be decoration. But Esmeray felt like that the silver glasses were meaning something else, but he didn't think too much about it, since he never really does anyways.

"Yes, Esmeray? Do you need something?" Eclipsetess asked Esmeray, she was looking through the book but also glancing at Esmeray every time that she got to a new chapter of her book that she was reading thoroughly, even though she's being careful to also look at Esmeray for enough time of eye contact before ging back to look at tbe book.

"Uhm, I was wondering on what you were doing... so, uh, what are you doing exactly?" Esmeray asked Eclipsetess, the mare took a deep breath through her nose before closing the book with a bookmark to mark the chapter that she was on, then Eclipsetess fully looked at a curious Esmeray.

"Since you're here, I was actually scanning details in these books that are around me. I was just scanning through all of them to see what's different. But not much has been discovered since the books are all the same except in different languages due to every horse having an Isle with a different language but the same one in different alphabetizing." Eclipsetess explained to Esmeray, the poor stallion's brain couldn't handle all these new and smarter words that were getting cramped inside his head, but he managed to pull through and understand perfectly at what Eclipsetess is explaining to him.

"So just research, different details, and maybe mixed up legends and stuff?" Esmeray asked Eclipsetess once more, this time he was thinking over his words in a smarter sense, which surprised Eclipsetess herself that Esmeray could reciprocate the smart-sensisable-understanding-big-words that Eclipsetess explained to Esmeray. Now she has only has to stay in her smart explanation further for him to understand perfectly.

"Yes, exactly that." Eclipsetess answered Esmeray, she was hiding her surprise but it didn't work as Esmeray smiled softly due to him understanding what she meant without needing a simpler explanation to what she said previously, but he also humbled himself and Eclipsetess did the samething as well.

"Well. Why not pay closer attention?" Esmeray asked, he opened the book that Eclipsetess closed, the book going back to a page that Esmeray wanted to open it too, and he put the tip of his hoof onto the page as it contained smaller words in a different language and then Esmeray pointed to the same language that was the next opened book that had a purpe silky ribbon bookmark and Eclipsetess immediately detailed what Esmeray just did.

Eclipsetess was stunned for sure, no, she was shocked that even Esmeray, himself, just did something that was out of his character. But it also made sense? Well whatever the case, Eclipsetess was deciphering on what Esmeray pointed out. Though Eclipsetess took a couple seconds before looking up at Esmeray as she put the book back to its closed self.

"Esmeray... you've just did something that can help us predict when legends are coming into the Isles... you've just helped us predict our future of battles and passive talks! Thank you so much Esmeray!" Eclipsetess exlaimed, she then hugged him as the stallion was dumbfounded before Eclipsetess explained a little bit at what he did, but he also hugged back Eclipsetess. he then picked up the two books that he pointed out, as Eclipsetess began trotting over to Scorn with a new thing to tell him, and Esmeray followed behind closely. As he didn't want any other horse knowing until Scorn announced it, since he is the lead stallion.. nothing else to say but that really.

     It wasn't too much longer until the sun lowered in the sky allowing the moon to shine throughout the night. Nysa was still off by herself since what happened, but it looked at though she had fallen asleep. Probably best. Solstice on the other hoof was still awake. Well why wouldn't she be? She was the goddess of the moon now. It was only natural for her to be awake during the night...even if Orion wasn't going to let her.. Though it showed that he cared about her and her well being. Even if Solstice was quite stubborn at times.

     "You better be heading off to sleep Solstice. I know you're doing a lot better, but you should still get some sleep tonight." said Orion as he stepped up to her nuzzling her then Raja. "Tomorrow is a new day." he said before he looked around soon laying eyes on Nysa as he let out a small sigh, "I knew she had this thing with animals, but nothing like what we saw today..." he said mumbling to himself slightly as he looked back at Solstice, "Should we be worried about her?" he asked even if he was slightly worried.

     Solstice nuzzled the stallion softly, "She will be fine Orion. Just give her some time. Alright? I know she won't admit that something about Asher bugs her, but we also can't force her to talk to us. She will come when she's ready. I should know." she said trying to ease his worry before she nibbled on his orange and white mane, "I'm not going to sleep if you aren't. Now lay down." she said nipping him in a playful manner. Orion only let out a small quiet chuckle before he did just that. Solstice immediately just pressed against him laying her head on top of his back, "That's better."

     Once morning arrived, Solstice seemed to wake up earlier then she normally did, but she didn't mind. Instead she felt perfectly fine. Even having the itch to go fly around and stretch her wings, but she didn't. Instead she looked down at the buckskin filly that was still asleep. Solstice smiled and gently groomed her small fluffy black mane a bit before she walked a short distance away to graze leaving Orion and Raja to sleep. Though once she took a moment to look around, Nysa was no where to be seen which worried her a bit.

     Before her mother woke up, Nysa ended up getting up. Though most of the herd was still asleep, so she stayed where she was before looking over at her family. Nysa let out a small sigh before she spread out her colorful wings and took off into the sky. Maybe just a fly over the Isle would do her some good. The wind in her mane and feathers. What could be better than this? Over time she did feel better then what she did, but she still spent some time in the sky just enjoying the peace and quiet.

     Though eventually Raja woke up to see her mother wasn't beside her before she spotted Solstice and tried getting up on her feet. She seemed to struggle a bit with getting up and down, but she was getting the hang of using her long legs. Solstice smiled seeing the filly nuzzling her, "You're going to be a handful sooner or later." she said to herself before looking up seeing Orion had woken up too. "Sleep well?" she asked him as he just yawned. Solstice just giggled before she nuzzled him.

     That was when Nysa returned and Solstice noticed, "Well at least I don't have to worry about where she's gone..." she mumbled to herself before she noticed Eclipsetess and Esmeray. Whatever they were doing made Solstice quite curious, but she watched as Eclipsetess got excited and soon went over to Scorn with Esmeray along side her. "Huh...I wonder what that was about, but I think we might find out here sooner or later.." she said looking at Orion unsure of what was going on, but she was quite curious to find out. Even Nysa was, well she was always curious, but either way she continued to keep her distance a bit. 

Scorn was laying down, until he got up to see what Eclipsetess and Esmeray wanted, even though he was strangely away from Grey Cloud, and he's always next to her. Eh- well, Grey Cloud might be doing something within the herd though, yeah, she's just walking about to see what she needs to do to make the herd happier.

Eclipsetess looked at Esmeray, and Esmeray looked at Eclipsetess, before the two looked at Scorn again. The stallion sighed, before asking what the two needed from him, or what he needed to do to help the two. Eclipsetess only shook her head to both those questions before she looked at the two books on Esmeray's back, which Eclipsetess used her magic to grab the two books to open up to show the exact pages on where Eclipsetess made her discovery.

"Scorn, Esmeray may or may not have did something amazing! Even though its very exciting to see!" Eclipsetess told Scorn with enthusiasm, Scorn sighed once again since Eclipsetess didn't show him yet and only talked, but he smiled softly at the two because they were acting like little giddy foals.

"Well let's see the discovery Eclipsetess! And of course Esmeray can show us, well you again but me for the first time." Scorn told Eclipsetess, he wanted to bring the two discoverers into showing the lead stallion the discovery together, that's how it works or else the two don't get credit for their discovery.

"Right, right!" Eclipsetess nervously laughed, she then put her hoof on the tiny words on the chapter, and Esmeray did the samething but with the other book. Scorn took a moment before saying that he can't see what the two are pointing at with their hooves. Eclipsetess looked dumbfounded and she looked at Esmeray but he had the same expression as Eclipsetess.

"What do you mean that you can't see it? It's right there Scorn! The words are helping us know when there are legends, myths, scrolls about creatures coming for us!" Eclipsetess was confused before getting mad, Scorn backed up and looked worried and so did Esmeray, even though Scorn took a deep breath, stepped up and examined the page closely before laughing at himself and agreeing that the tiny words are guides to know when a legend, myth, or scroll about a select creature is looking for something.

"Well, I stand corrected. But what are am I going to do about this?" Scorn asked, he then looked at the entire herd, before looking up at the sky, and then, back to Eclipsetess and Esmeray. Which the two horses are getting giddy once more, talk about mood swings as Scorn smiled softly once more at the excited duo again.

"Scorn, you are going to announce about our discovery!" Eclipsetess excitedly told Scorn, the lead stallion was unsure about this, but he thought about it and agreed. Though Scorn told the two horses that he'd need Grey Cloud's help to round up the herd into a big group for Scorn to announce the announcement of Eclipsetess's and Esmeray's discovery.

"Oh. Well where is Grey Cloud exactly? Isn't she always near you or in the herd?" Eclipsetess asked Scorn, as she was curious to see where Grey Cloud is, even though Scorn seemed worried and looked over at the herd with examining eyes before he sighed and looked at Eclipsetess and Esmeray.

"She's not here. And I've already looked over at the other two herds. I just- can't believe that she was gone, even though the titan was also- well he still is looking for Grey Cloud. I just... can't even believe that she'd disappear from the entire herds herself. I can't grasp the fact that she loves everyone. It's just- unusual..." Scorn was honest about telling Eclipsetess and Esmeray what he felt, and that it was only more worrying since the titan was doing his job of making sure that every horse is in their respected grazing grounds of their home, besides Nysa of course.

Eclipsetess got a bit skeptical, she was even suspicious if another horse did something to take away Grey Cloud, then Eclipsetess thought of something. "What if she was horsenapped?" Eclipsetess looked at the herd and counted everyone, minus Grey Cloud of course, but Esmeray counted the pegasi in the sky and Scorn was using his magic to see the Isle of Dreams as a map.

"Please don't tell me that one of our previous enemies came back, I mean I know its redundant. But another enemy could be brewing, and just starting with horsenapping those that leave the grounds and go out to look around the Isle. I know its very redundant actually, but its the best shot that a new enemy is just starting out." Scorn looked at Eclipsetess and Esmeray worriedly, now he really got himself thinking about who it is and who is starting out with horsenapping Scorn's mate, even though Trickster and Carrion are just hanging out under a tree for shade- those two always do something together no matter what. But Scorn examined the two, before he started walking about as Eclipsetess and Esmeray followed after him.

"Scorn, if its another enemy. Then this one is smarter than the other two arch enemies. And one that knows what their doing." Eclipsetess bluntly told Scorn, the lead stallion acknowledged what Eclipsetess said but he was focusing more on what to do and what to prepare for. Which Eclipsetess can see, as she signaled Esmeray to go and tell everyone to be wary of a new enemy that's just starting out with horsenapping lost horses...

"And, Esmeray." Eclipsetess stopped Esmeray from galloping off. "What is it?" Esmeray turned around to see what Eclipsetess wanted to add in. "Make sure to add in that the new enemy may be using legends to actually hunt us down, and that the enemy is getting smarter with collecting scrolls, legends, myths, anything that they can find to try and see if we can survive and adapt. We need to be cautious at all times, and include that the new enemy has officially kidnapped Scorn's lead mare too, everyone will take what you said seriously since I'll be filling in Grey Cloud's role temporarily until one of the more experience mares in the herd will come and take the role when I will check on my younglings and Namir later." Eclipsetess ordered Esmeray, he nodded and galloped off to inform everyone of the new enemy, someone horsnapping Grey Cloud, and everything else as well. Meanwhile Scorn was just idle as he was listening in and nodded at Eclipsetess, the two horses then began to go and see the borders and check on everything else and preparing for either a future invasion or straight up attack from the new unknown enemy.


Meanwhile Minette was grazing about, she watched her foal running and then tripping, as she giggled, and helped up the little one. Even though Minette noticed that Esmeray was informing everyone of something, but she stood next to her foal and went back to grazing while being aware of Esmeray's official announcement that Minette doesn't know yet, even her own foal was watching Esmeray run about and talking with urgency.

"I wonder what he's saying to the others with such importance." Minette mumbled, before she looked over at the herd and noticed that they were taking the news heavily, to which, Minette's coat shivered down her forelock to her tail at the end. Minette then looked at her foal and nuzzled the little baby for comfort and relaxation.

     Despite Solstice being curious of what Esmeray and Eclipsetess seemed to be talking to Scorn about, she stayed put. Not because of Orion, but because of Raja. Though she just nuzzled Orion before deciding to walk around the herd a little bit. Maybe even chat with some of the mares since she missed being active and talking with everyone like she normally did. Orion watched her for a moment with a small relieved smile since it showed she was back to her normal self, and it was about time too.

     Raja just followed her mother naturally sticking to her side. Though she got nervous around some of the other mares since she didn't know who they were. She really only knew her family and that was it. At least for now. Solstice looked at Raja gently nuzzling the filly, "It's alright. Just stay close to me." she said in her usual soft tone before continuing on. It did feel good to move around again. Though Solstice mainly went over to her brother and Moon spending some time with the two of them as well as have Raja meet them. Moon was part of family. She always was.

     Nysa watched her mother and her sister with a small smile glad to see that her mother was back to her normal self before she looked over watching Esmeray's and Eclipsetess's conversation with Scorn. Like her mother, she stayed away, but she did wish she could just be with Esmeray alone at the time. Maybe later. Instead Nysa just laid down where she was and summoned two books. Her mother's spell book, and the book Asher had given her. Though she only looked at the mysterious book. She couldn't open it. She was too scared about what was inside to open it. Wasn't long before she put that book away and sighed.

     Though Orion was reading one of his many books..as always when Althea had slowly approached him. She wanted to prove that she was trying to make up, but she was also cautious around her son...even if she shouldn't be. Orion looked up at her with a small smile as they nuzzled each other. Althea then looked over seeing Solstice being social once again, "How is she doing? And the filly?" she asked hoping she wasn't overstepping. She just didn't want to mess up again. She wanted to be a part of her granddaughters lives.

     Orion looked at her before looking at Solstice and Raja, "Looks as though she's just her normal social self, but she still shouldn't overdo it. Alas her and her brother are both quite stubborn." he said rolling his eyes slightly. Though it could be a good thing...just not when she needed to rest since she did a lot for the herd, her family, and even the Isles. "Raja is still getting used to her legs, but she's doing alright as well." he added on before looking at his mother, "I'm glad you're here mom..for them.."

     Althea smiled a bit before she let out a small quiet laugh before she looked at Solstice again, "She seems like a good mare...I'm..glad you found yourself a home and someone to love.." she said. Though Orion just nuzzled her without saying anything as Solstice came back over with Raja cantering around them. Althea watched the filly, "Raja is a beautiful name just like she is." she said with a smile. By then Nysa decided to walk over, but she just started trotting and cantering around with her sister.

     At least until Solstice looked over at Eclipsetess, Esmeray, and Scorn. Something was different, and she could feel it. Orion did too as they looked at each other with a concerned look. Wasn't long until Nysa looked at her parents seeing the looks they had as she brought Raja over looking at them worriedly. Then she noticed Esmeray going around informing the herd about something...and with everyone's reactions she knew it wasn't anything good. Though Nysa looked over at Minette and quickly cantered over to her and her new foal.

     "I wish I knew..." she said looking at Minette then Esmeray, "But I know it's nothing good..." she said with a sigh, "But I'm staying here with you and the little one. My parents can handle themselves and my sister." she said nuzzling Minette before she looked at Esmeray again realizing he was coming over to them. Nysa just lowered her ears slightly, "Esmeray what's going on? What happened?" she asked after she nuzzled him. She did miss being beside him, so she was a bit less worried with him there.

"It's- uhm.." Esmeray couldn't speak properly, but Minette sighed and nuzzled the stallion to talk, and then Minette pushed Esmeray closer to Nysa. Minette only wanted Esmeray to be confident, so he would talk better with Nysa as Minette just stuck to the side to hear what he has to say.

Esmeray sighed before nuzzling Nysa, he missed her and it showed by his nuzzling. But he stopped and then thought about what he has to say, he just wants his words to be perfect enough for an understanding. Even though he looked at Scorn worriedly.

Esmeray then looked back at Nysa and Minette, he finally recaught his words. "It's about some things... as Grey Cloud has been horsenapped, me and Eclipsetess found a few words that can help us when legends, scrolls, and myths about creatures will come for us, and then Eclipsetess and Scorn are preparing for a new enemy to attack us. But we deduced that the new enemy is far smarter then Dra or Asher, so we're dealing with a new enemy that is slowly surfacing up. But we're also worried as Scorn is also hoping to tell the titan about this as well, so he can prepare to defend us from anymore creatures that are coming." Esmeray sighed and sat down from the long explanation and informing the two mares, Minette was surprised and worried with great honesty, as Minette looked at Nysa before looking at Esmeray.

"A new...enemy? Dear Faith, we're not done with being attacked.." Minette was now shocked, she too had sat down to process what Esmeray said, even though she could tell something was up before knowing what she had now gotten the answer to her question.

Minette then looked around with great awareness, she then nuzzled her foal, and comforted the poor scared little one. Minette whispered something to the foal, as she nuzzled Nysa and Esmeray before running off to Eclipsetess and Scorn. Minette's little foal doesn't know why Minette ran off, but Minette knew that her foal would be safe with Nysa and Esmeray watching over before a mare comes over to watch the foal for the two.


When Minette reached Eclipsetess and Scorn, the two horses were already discussing defensive position and then offensive position. Eclipsetess then looked at Minette, Eclipsetess nuzzled her daughter as Scorn was curious on why Minette was here instead of watching over her foal in case something happened, but Eclipsetess already asked that question when Minette only answered to only help out her mother and the lead stallion of his herd.

Eclipsetess sighed before looking worried at Minette. "Minette.. you need to stay by your foal, no matter what. But you're just lucky that this herd has many helpful mares around to watch over your foal, at least since we're preparing for a defensive position then an offensive position." Eclipsetess told Minette, Scorn nodded along as to approve what Eclipsetess is telling her daughter, but Minette then got a hunch on something and she looked more worried now more then ever before, and Eclipsetess can tell that her daughter is more worried which makes her worried.

"But what if our new enemy is...smarter and knows what to do? Then what are we going to do about it now? How are we gonna win a new fight? We know that our enemies would rather die then just return to being a regular horse, as seen by Dra and Asher and of course that pegasus mare that followed along after the second biggest fight.." Minette didn't mean to start old memories brought up again, and Eclipsetess only nuzzled Minette to make her less worried, even though Minette can't help shake the feeling that something new is gonna come as the new enemy.

"Right, but I'm sure that our new enemy isn't gonna be that smart. Even so, we're a strong herd with very good friends and allies, we're gonna win because of our neighbor Isles and that only increases our chances of our Isle survivng once more!" Eclipsetess spoke with enthusiasm, which made Minette forget about her worry since her mother is right; so many new allies, enemies, and neutrals can help defeat the new enemy that is coming. And Scorn even rears up with being enthusiastically giddy.

"Hm, alright mom. I'll take your word for it." Minette nuzzled her mother before trotting off back to her foal, Eclipsetess looked back at Scorn with worry, Eclipsetess only put up her enthusiastic facade just to keep her daughter from worrying about everyone and her hunch now affecting her. And Scorn knows that Isle of Dreams is gonna survive once more, like it always does!

"You are right Eclipsetess, we are gonna win no matter what. Even with our allies and enemies brought together. We're just hoping that shadowy Isle will also help due to its natural curiosity." Scorn put his head on Eclipsetess's back, Eclipsetess thought about it and Scorn was right, but she moved so that Scorn doesn't put his head on her back again. Eclipsetess's back is for family and friends, not the lead stallion that just getting cocky because he wanted Eclipsetess to recognize how right she is. Even though Scorn respected Eclipsetess's boundaries and he wouldn't put his head on her back again, and because he doesn't want Namir getting jealous or getting protective.

"Let's just hope that we have peacetime before this next fight... I don't wanna lose energy so fast, nor see my loved ones getting attacked without my protection." Eclipsetess mumbled at the end, Scorn looked at Eclipsetess and he sighed before putting his head against her left cheek on her face, which Eclipsetess paused and got dumbfounded as Scorn looked at her and soft smiled as he got Eclipsetess to stop worrying about everything.

"I can't believe you sometimes Scorn.." Eclipsetess muttered, Scorn laughed and Eclipsetess sighed before walking away. Scorn realized that Eclipsetess was leaving and he couldn't be left alone due to the enemy horsenapping lone horses, so Scorn trotted up alongside Eclipsetess and stayed silent so that she can do her things, even though Scorn started looking for a mare to temporarily take Eclipsetess's temporary lead mare status when Eclipsetess goes to check on her family. Which is a good idea to start looking, before having a mistake takes place.

     Nysa immediately knew it wasn't anything good when Esmeray struggled to get the words out. She only glanced at her family. Mainly her mother and her sister then Minette and soon back at Esmeray. The silence scared her a bit, but when he eventually spoke, Nysa didn't know what to think. "B-but it's only been a few months! How could no one have noticed Grey Cloud was missing!? The foals..." she said not knowing what to think. It wasn't that long ago that Asher attacked. Everything was coming back to her, but she never really recovered...what she had to do to get rid of Asher bothered her the most.

     Even if Asher deserved it, she just never felt right after ending a life. Though Nysa just pressed against Esmeray a bit. She missed being with him, and it seemed to comfort her a bit, but not much. All she wanted was to just forget what she did. Solstice just looked over to see Nysa with Esmeray as she sighed remembering when she would do the same thing. Though she knew what was going on, and she didn't know what to do. Raja was only a few days old, but was she to fight or protect her helpless filly?

     Though Nysa just pulled her face away from Esmeray as she looked at Minette before looking down, "No..we're not.." she said quietly in a hurt tone before she watched Minette run over to Scorn and Eclipsetess. Nysa just stepped forward towards the little foal and gently nudged them, "Your mother will be back little one..." she said. Though something was just very familiar about them, but she could never find out why. That didn't matter now. What mattered was keeping them safe. Keeping everyone safe.

     Once Minette came back, Nysa walked over to her family without a word. Solstice didn't say anything yet and just nuzzled her. Though Nysa only looked at her mother with hurt eyes, "Mom w-whatever happens I don't want you to fight..I-i can't lose you again!" she said tearing up a bit. Loosing her mother once was hard enough even to this day, and it showed. She didn't know what she would have done if Eclipsetess wasn't able to bring her back that day. "Just please...don't fight...for me.." she muttered as she was looking down at that point.

     Solstice just frowned as she heard what Nysa had said. She didn't know what to say to her, so she just nuzzled Nysa before anything. "Nysa...part of being a goddess means protecting the Isles. I will always do that just like I always have. To protect you, your sister, and the herd, but I won't fight unless I have no other choice." she said reassuring her daughter, "Like I always say...I will always come back. No matter what, and that is no lie Nysa." she said with a soft smile as Nysa just wrapped herself around her mother.

     "Okay...." Nysa quietly said before she looked at her family. Now it was the waiting game. Nobody knew who was surfacing or even what they had to face. That was what scared them the most, but will this horse take any more horses? What was to come of Grey Cloud? Everyone knew Scorn would never be the same without her. The two were always with each other. The herd just wouldn't be the same without Grey Cloud. Would Scorn step down from leading the herd if he lost the love of his life? No one knew what was to come, but Namir and everyone else prepared for it.

     Though Moon was making her way over to Scorn and Eclipsetess, but once she approached the two, she mainly looked at Scorn. "I'm sorry to hear about Grey Cloud Scorn." she said in her usual motherly tone. It never changed. Not once. Though despite her age, she offered help, "I could help by being lead mare until we get Grey Cloud back, but I wouldn't want to replace her in any way. It's your call. Despite me wishing to never have that role, I'm the only other one with the experience." she said before looking at Eclipsetess, "Now you should go to your family and your foals."

Scorn just walked up to Moon, he had a soft on his face and because he was being careful with her. Even though he still said nothing to her yet. He eventually spoke up to Moon, "Only if you want to have the role. I'm not pushing anyone here to have the role, and I don't want old memories popping up with you, so its your wish if you want to have the role." Scorn spoke softly, understanding, and friendly towards Moon. He then gently nuzzled Moon to comfort her, he want to comfort her if she chose to have the role for now. But he eventually backed away and smiled at her before going to graze somewhere, somewhere where he can keep an eye on everyone better..


Meanwhile Eclipsetess was with her family, she was checking them over for anything out of the ordinary. Eclipsetess didn't have too, but she was too worried of what might happen if there was a clue that no one noticed, since most of the enemies they all faced had some clue or something that led to the fight of the century, despite it being a little more too early for a new enemy, but their new enemy is planning something alright and Eclipsetess was heck-bent on making sure that there was nothing out of the ordinary, including Esmeray's eyesight as well.

"Hmph," Eclipsetess sighed. "Good. Nothing wrong." Eclipsetess muttered, she was relieved to note that no one was targeted for the next horse-nap with Eclipsetess's family. She still worries, but one of her worries were already subsided. Since no one of her family was targeted for a future horse-nap.

Eclipsetess then looked over at Minette, she was doing good and she was watching her little foal all the while protecting her baby, Eclipsetess smiled softly and she was humbled to see that. Even though Minette was also doing what she was doing for another reason, but her little foal wasn't gonna be like anyone that was mean, or well the word "cruel".

Eclipsetess sighed once more, before she flicked her ear. Eclipsetess decided to sleep while she stood, might as well get rest now, before something happens and she'll be a bit tired if she didn't sleep.


Though Eclipsetess didn't sleep for more then two seconds because she had her ears flicking about with sounds echoeing in her ears, which caught Scorn's attention very fastly, since he was noting of everyone's movements. And he just couldn't help his curiosity anymore. So he ran over to a ear-flicking-Eclipsetess, or more over trotted over to an ear-flicking-Eclipsetess.

But when Scorn came trotting over to see what Eclipsetess was locating, her two foals went under to hide under her shadow, since Scorn was a hulking stallion but he had that friendly vibe to him. So Eclipsetess's two foals were just wary of Scorn, and how he acted nicely towards Eclipsetess.

"You- alright Eclipsetess? I noticed, and of course I was watching everyone, that I happened to see that you were flicking your ears around." Scorn asked in a more worried tone than he should be, but he decided to see Eclipsetess out of his curiosity and his worry combined. He did back up a little, since he felt like that he was scaring Eclipsetess's two little foals, but Eclipsetess just nudged her babies from right under her.

"I'm fine Scorn, as much as I can be. And I have no idea why or how, but I picked up on sounds nearby, like hooves running either to us or from us. But the sounds also sound... much out of our knowledge on things, but they just... maybe I'm over thinking but I hear Hologramic Magic being used with the hooves. Like someone's trying to trick us, get us trapped alone to be horse-napped." Eclipsetess kept silent, since she didn't want her foals to hear what she was saying. But Scorn nodded and his face went stern and protective as he went near the forest's edge before starting to trot around and looking at the brush and the dense forest greenery. He was stepping up his A-game now, and he was meaning business to the one trying out a horse-trap.


Eclipsetess calmed her heart down, then she nuzzled her two little babies to comfort them and herself. Despite already telling Scorn that there's a horse-trap about, and Eclipsetess was unsure if she heard magic being used, but Eclipsetess couldn't tell where the sound was coming from, since she couldn't pin-point it with accuracy. But she was well aware that the new enemy was already trying out a new trap for the works, but Eclipsetess already had gotten to the punch faster and already alerted Scorn before the trap could come near the herd.

"Come on, little ones. We'll be fine. As long as Scorn is doing his protective check-over then we'll be alright, since the trap can't come near us if Scorn is looking around, while keeping to the edge to stop anything from coming near us. But you two will be safe, I know of it." Eclipetess was trying to comfort her foals, even though she was more comforting at the end since the foals know 'safe' since they won't be trapped or anything like that with Scorn being around, literally and figuratively.


Though Minette was distracted with being confused on what Scorn was doing, her little foal doing the same but showing curiosity instead. Minette stopped out of her trance when she went to look down to nuzzle her foal, only to notice her foal wandered away when she was looking at Scorn's movements for too long, even to the point where she nulled out any sounds until she thought of her priorities. That's when she noticed her foal had disappeared, and Minette noticed again that her little foal didn't leave hoof prints to the herd, instead, the flipped opposite.

"No. No, no... No! I couldn't have- my little one wouldn't have- I thought that- no..." Minette began getting frantic for her foal, looking left and right to not see her foal anywhere, then Minette paused as she heard hissing behind her frantic back or rear. And she turned to see glowing yellow eyes with black cat-like slits, this was for sure the trap that worked for Minette's foal.

Minette was frozen with fear, her eyes didn't stay off the creatures yellow eyes, despite the hissing it made. Then Minette shuffled a bit, before backing up a bit, and turning around to see the creature's yellow eyes and black slits in all. Minette was still frozen, allowing the creature to lung its head but to be stopped mid-air by Eclipsetess pushing her hooves on te creature's side of the head, and standing on the sideways purple, smoky snake. Eclipsetess even stomped both her hooves to keep the creature paralyzed for the time being.

"Minette! Minette!" Eclipsetess shouted to her daughter. Eclipsetess then groaned in annoyance because of the snake, so she bubbled up the long beast into a circled bubbled, and Eclipsetess walked over to a frozen-in-fear Minette. Eclipsetess hugged Minette closely and told her that it wasn't her fault for losing her foal, and Minette responded in crying and sobbing as she heard what her mother told her in a comforting way.


Previously to the encounter; Eclipsetess went back to napping before she felt one of her two foals nudge her, so she opened her eyes to look at the foal that nudged her, to her surprise but she giggled, as it was Blue Arches who nudged her or headbutted Eclipsetess's hind leg.

To Blue Arches surprised feat, Eclipsetess just groomed his little mane. Which the little foal whinnied and looked adorable as Eclipsetess could groom his little mane up, even though she smiled at him and he was just so cute with wanting to play with his mother, and Eclipsetess nuzzled him before going to graze on the grass. But something caught Eclipsetess's attention, when she just barely stopped herself from eating some grass that she had her mouth hovering around.

It was Minette looking around. So Eclipsetess looked at Blue Arches, before nuzzling him back towards his sibling. Then she started to trot off towards Minette, only to notice a dark purple snake starting to stick out from the forest's edge when Minette froze up in fear from the eyes. As Eclipsetess opened her wings, before running up into the sky, and shortly landing on the purple snake to knock it dazed to the ground.

Eclipsetess bubbled the reptile up until it looked like a medal or medallion that some horses wear, Minette was still frozen up when Eclipsetess bubbled the purple snake up, as Eclipsetess walked up to her daughter and started hugging her tightly.. Eclipsetess could tell how scared Minette was, and how she was looking for her foal to knowledge where Minette's foal went.. Only for Eclipsetess's daughter to be halted in fear from the snake.

"Minette.." Eclipsetess started telling Minette, that it wasn't her fault for losing her foal, and Minette only responded back in crying and sobbing as she heard what her mother told her in a comforting way. Minette was just so shaken up from the fact that she wasn't paying attention to her foal, and the fact that the snake was there. The snake that Eclipsetess put in its place was not a normal snake, and it was purple, so purple snakes are also not as big as a horse. So it was some type of mega-snake that Eclipsetess bubbled up tightly, even though the herd and Scorn could really use the snake as research to research what it was and if it was a creation; then it was the new unknown enemy preparing similar traps like the big purple snake.

     Moon looked back over at Scorn once she realized he was stepping over to her, "None of that matters. Phoenix doesn't matter. He's the past and he always will be." she said almost like she needed to remind herself, "I can help by doing this, and no one else knows what it's like." she said before nuzzling Scorn in return knowing he was trying to comfort her, but she knew he needed it more than she did. Moon could handle herself to a level...well maybe not as much as she could a few years prior. 

     "We will find her Scorn. If I learned anything, the herd will make sure of it. You should be proud of what you built. Giving most of us a second chance at the life we weren't originally given. Even if I wish Namir had brought his sister here sooner, I realized all she needed was her brother and a family." she said trying to cheer Scorn up some. "Don't forget that. Ever." she added. Though Scorn soon left as Moon stayed where she was soon realizing her son was making his way over, "There's no reason to worry about me son."

     Apollo noticed his mother talking with Scorn, and soon he decided to make his way over, "I'm going to worry about you. Why not let someone else do it? You don't have the energy for it." he said as the mother and son nuzzled each other, "You hated being lead mare." he quickly added. Though what worried him most was that she wasn't going to be around for much longer. Apollo didn't know what to do without her. She was really all the family he really ever had. By blood at least. Though he hated trying to think about it.

     Moon sighed, "Your father is the past Apollo. We don't have to worry about him. Ever. He's gone for good, and he always will be." she said reassuring him before adding on, "I am simply just helping Scorn watch over the herd. Nothing more. I know my limit." she said reassuring him a second time. Though she too knew her time was coming, but she just nuzzled the young stallion to calm his worries. "Now go make sure your friends are all right, and you could help keep an eye out for anything. I know you've been with Namir here and there." she said gently nudging him towards the majority of the herd.

     He sighed and gave a small nod before walking off doing just as his mother suggested. Though Nysa stayed with her family. She didn't want anything to happen to them like last time. She wanted to be with them in case anything happened. Maybe this time she could have done something about it unlike what happened with Asher. Orion even insisted his mother would stay close for safety. Althea just agreed even though she was still cautious around her son and his family after failing as a mother.

     Solstice just protectively kept Raja close to her unsure of what was near or even what was happening..or going to happen. Though she focused on trying to listen in on anything or even try to spot anything unusual, but there was nothing. At least that she could tell, but it didn't ease her worries. Instead she looked over when she heard some yelling seeing Eclipsetess run over to Minette and bottle a weird looking snake before comforting the mare. Solstice nudged Nysa, "Minette needs you. I can handle myself if anything happens. You know that." she said as Nysa just quietly nodded and cantered over to Minette.

     Though once she did, she realized that something was wrong. Didn't take long for her to realize that her newborn foal was missing now. Things just got worse, but Nysa didn't want to admit it. Nysa just nuzzled Minette trying to comfort her like Eclipsetess was, "We'll find them..we'll figure this out.." she said, "We'll all make sure of it." she added on. Nysa knew that the foal was now in danger with how young they were. Foals depend on their mothers for milk...Nysa didn't even want to think about what could happen to the poor thing. Either way it wasn't long until Apollo came over and tried comforting Minette some more.

     Solstice watched Nysa go over to Minette to comfort her before she looked around at the rest of the herd. There was a odd feeling in the area, and she could sense it making her uncomfortable. After letting out a small quiet sigh, Solstice gently nuzzled Raja to ease the filly's worries before gently nudging her towards her father. "Stay with your father while I take a look around." she said to the little filly before looking at Orion and Althea knowing exactly what Orion was about to say, but he spoke before she could stop him.

     "Solstice you know you shouldn't. You've just recovered, and we can't lose anyone else. We don't know what's out there, and you can't always go after whatever it is lurking in those trees." he said with a soft snort worried about her. Though he knew very well that whatever he said wouldn't stop her. She was much too stubborn, but he cared for her. Loved her, but he also didn't want to lose her again, "That necklace may just be the only thing left that will keep you alive Solstice." he spoke once more showing his concern.

     Althea was still there, but she kept quiet not wanting to intrude, but she did look at her son then the necklace around Solstice's neck. Solstice noticed and sighed, "Orion you know a part of my job is keeping the herd safe. Keeping the Isles  safe. That's part of being a goddess Orion. Sure I never asked for this, but it was legend." she said before nuzzling him, "It'll only be a few minutes. I'll be back I promise." she said before spreading her wings out and stretching them before taking flight above the meadow.

     Orion just watched her before letting out a sigh, "I suppose...I did miss a lot.." Althea hesitantly spoke before continuing, "She's a protector...I can tell it's run down in her family. She knows what she's doing." she said comforting her son. Solstice just flew around the meadow looking down looking for any sign of the filly or Grey Cloud, but there was nothing. After letting out a sigh, Solstice went back to the ground over to Scorn and Moon informing them that there was nothing out of the ordinary before returning to her family while Nysa stayed with Minette and Apollo.
