Murder Mystery RP

Outlaw
She slid a hand into her hoodie pocket for a second, sprouts swiftly sprouting from her hand and turning into a decently sized comfrey plant. She stepped away for a second, grinding it into a poultice, then returned to the girl’s side, and knelt next to her with the poultice and a roll of bandages. “Outlaw.” She finally answered. “Can I put this on your knee? It’ll help with pain, make the bruises and scrapes heal quick.” 

Avery
She eyed the contents in Outlaw's hands silently, adjusting her position to better see the girl. After a moment, she nodded hesitantly. "But if you pull anything stupid, I'll stab you in the gut."

Outlaw
“Do it then” she mumbled, gently placing the poultice on the girl’s knee before wrapping bandages over it and around her knee to hold the poultice in place. She straightened back up, placing the rest of the bandages into her pocket. 

Avery
"I mean, it would be funny." She examined the bandage before nodding in approval. "But I doubt the government would think so."

Outlaw
“Yeah well they don’t think anything’s fun.” She slipped a cigarette out of the pack in her pocket and pulled out her lighter. “Though considering it’s me being stabbed they might” she muttered under her breath to herself as she lit the cigarette. 

Avery
Avery studied Outlaw for a moment. "So you're not going to scold me for wanting to kill someone?"

Outlaw
She looked down at the girl. “No. I’m not a hypocrite.” She replied dryly. 

Avery
"Interesting... cause I do a lot of bad sh*t all the time, y'know." She said it as if the fact was something to be proud of, though in her mind, she couldn't comprehend how it wouldn't be. "Sometimes I debate killing my mom in her sleep and then I'm like 'Nah, at least she lets me steal stuff and foster parents wouldn't do that'."

Mei
"Let someone else deal with it. Tempting." Mei looked out across the water and shook her head. "There has to be a reason we were all invited here. Probably not a good one, but still." 

Outlaw
She listened to Avery talk as she took another cigarette from her pack. Holding it in her lips, she dug for her lighter and lit it. “Yeah foster is not a fun place to be.” She replied, fairly unfazed by the girl’s cold remarks. 

Shane
"I am worried about the kid," he muttered, crossing his arm and chewing on his lip. His life had been damaged at a young age and the idea of another child's life being damaged that early too upset him. He sighed and started walking in the direction he had noticed Outlaw go in, using his senses to track the kid as he went. "I'm gonna try to contact her parents," he called back to Mei, leaving her to her defenses as he left.

Avery
"I can't imagine so. The again, no family is a fun place to be." She stopped talking and looked over her shoulder when she heard someone approaching from behind, examining Shane as he came through the brush. 

Outlaw
“True ‘nough” she replied, then glanced up as she heard someone coming. Seeing Shane, she studied him suspiciously. 

Lucia

Lucia yawned as she aimlessly drove along, the navigation system occasionally signaling a turn here and there. The mysterious invitation in the seat next to her looked blurry through her sleep-deprived eyes. She wasn't really paying any attention to where she was going, and she was too tired to care. Suddenly the car slowly rolled to a halt, a cloud of dust settling behind it. Lucia blinked, confused. The red E on her fuel gauge blinked back. Frick.

She'd have to go the rest of the way on foot. 

Abandoning the vehicle, she sluggishly placed the navigation system in her bag, next to the granola bars. You never knew when you might need a snack. The muffled directions led her towards the woods and away from the road. She hoped she was at least within walking distance of wherever she was supposed to be; the woods didn't look too friendly even now, and she definitely didn't want to have to be alone in them at night. Speaking of which, she thought. I wonder if anyone else even got an invitation. She hoped they had.

She paused for a moment as it finally clicked that she had been hearing far off voices for quite some time. I guess that answers that. I really need to get more sleep. Muting the navigation system, she angled towards the voices. Three figures soon distinguished themselves from the brush. Two adults and a...child?

Shane
He stopped quietly next to Avery and Outlaw, about to say something when he was silenced by noticing another person not far from them. He blinked at the girl quietly, looking at Outlaw for any lead in handling another person. 

Outlaw
She stared back with a raised eyebrow. “The hell you looking at me for?? You think I’m best at socializing?? What exactly you all been smoking?” She mumbled quietly.
