Rowan
     "I never really pay much attention to the flowers, but then again I am in charge of the safety of everyone in my herd," he said with a small laugh. "He is, and the more he becomes a troublemaker." he said watching Apollo make his mother chase after him. 
     "Apollo get back over here!" she said trying to get to him, "Why does he have to be so fast?" Nyx mumbled to herself. The colt then ran into his father.
     "Last I checked you aren't supposed to be running from your mother Apollo," said Rico in a serious voice as he looked down at his son.
     "I'm sorry father." he said as Nyx came over. 
     "Now will you please let me let me remove the stuff from your mane?" she said looking at Apollo.
     "Fine," he said standing still which was a challenge for him.
     Rowan laughed at the whole scene as he shook his mane. His winter coat had come off, and the roaning on his body was easier to see. The stallion had started to grow fond of the mare since she had joined the herd, and still could not thank her enough for everything.

Star
"I'm gonna go for a walk to waterfall, do u wanna come with me? Its okay if u don't wanna" she softly smiled to Rowan. She looked around at the blooming flowers all around her. They remind of the love season, but she still waiting to see if he had feeling for her. Little did she know that he would soon confess his feelings to her. 

Rowan
     "Why not," he said, "Rico your in charge as usual," he said as they took off. Once they reached the waterfall, Rowan smiled as it was just as beautiful as Agatha was. The waterfall was her favorite spot, but Rowan kept that quiet. Rowan wasn't great at expressing his feelings, but the time just felt right. "Y'know ever since the earthquake, and you learning what you need to know to stay in wild, I think you'd be a great lead mare..." he said.

Rico
     "Alright, Apollo come on. Let's talk." he said as his son ran over. The stallion walked amongst the herd and spoke, "One day you will be like your grandfather and lead a herd of your own. You don't be able to play or explore. Instead, you'll keep the safety of the herd as your top priority." he said continuing on.

Star
Star blushed " Rowan, what are you saying?" She looked at stallion with love in her eyes. She was happy and could something was gonna happen. Never did she think he was gonna confess his love to her at this moment. She felt like her life was being complete. Little did she know that her life was change forever, after this moment of time.

     "What I'm saying is that without you several lives could have been lost...including mine. I would have failed as a protector of my herd, but thanks to you none of that happened. What I'm saying is that you would be a great lead mare.." he said as he wasn't good at expressing his feelings.

Rico
     Rico finished talking to his son as Apollo went to go run around. A mare had returned to herd with another new addition to the herd. It was the second foal born this season, and it was a filly.

Star
"I'll be grateful to be lead mare, Rowan. You have no idea how much this means to me" she smiled and got very close to Rowan and nuzzled him, this in a loving way. She was lead made of the herd now. She had more respondbilities, but it was gonna be worth it. Star life had changed for every. "You Rowan, have com a long way, but you haven't failed as a protected, you wouldn't have let that human girl ride your ride" she looked at the stallion. Who was now her mate.

Rowan
     "Nyx and Apollo wouldn't be here if I hadn't of let that girl on my back. I hated it, but I knew they didn't have much time left in there." he said shaking off the feeling of having someone on his back. "Anyway..we should get back to the herd." he said giving the waterfall one last look before heading back to the herd. Once they returned, Rowan saw one of the mares, Crystal, had returned with a filly that looked to be a few hours old. "Congratulations," he said nuzzling the mare as he accepted the new addition.

Star
  "She is beautiful, congratulations", she smiled proudly on her face. She keep thinking and wondering when she was ever gonna have foals of her own. It was always her dream to have of foals of her own.
  "The foals are sure cute this season, when does the season normally start for you guys? She asked Rowan, wondering when they could try to have their own foals.

Crystal
     "Thank you," she said before walking off as her new filly followed behind still trying to figure out her legs. 

Rowan
     "What do you mean by that?" he said getting distracted by Apollo running around at full speed like always as he slid underneath his mother as he chuckled a little bit. 
     "Apollo didn't I tell you not to do that?" Nyx said getting annoyed at her son.
     "I'm sorry mom," he said, "It's fun to do," he said chuckling as he pranced off. Nyx gave a small chuckle and went back to grazing.

Star
   "Never mind, sorry I just have always wanted to have my foals, but I shouldn't have asked that question" she felt embarrassed about the question she had asked. She stayed close to Rowan and walked around with checking on the herd. She had hoped her dream would soon come to life soon.
   She saw there were a few more mares that still had foals to deilver. And hopefully they would deielver them soon, because it almost past their due date. She felt the breeze flow through her mane, feeling the brisk cold breeze right in her face.

Rowan
     "No it's fine. It just caught me off guard a bit and confused me a bit," he said not minding the question. "I'm sure you'll have a foal soon," he said with a smile before walking off. Rowan caught the scent of another horse, another bachelor. The stallion reared, and charged chasing the young stallion off his land once again. The stallion slid to a stop as the bachelor was off his land, and trotted back to the herd as his breaths were heavy. "Them bachelor's don't know how to stay off my land," he said with a snort.

Star 
"How often do they keep appearing around the herd terriroty?" She was getting concerned about the fact how many bachelor stallions have kept showing up the past few months. "I am worried someone is gonna trying challenging you" she looked at her mate with a sad face.
  "I don't wanna lose you Rowan" she nuzzled him. She laid down on top of a hill that over looked the whole herd. And she contained to watch the little foals run and play with all the other newer foals. "Seems like the newer foals are having a blast with the older foals" she chuckled.

Rowan
     "It depends. Their young, and just left their herds. If I am challenged then I have no other choice then to fight back. I am older and have more experience then those colts who just got chased away from their herds." he said calming down. A few mares were still away from the herd delivering, but there were a few who were still in the herd waiting for when it was time. Apollo noticed the new filly, but stayed distant listening to his mother's orders. 

Star
  " and you are stronger, then those bachelor colts too" she Nuzzled him. She also saw the few mares, who had walked away to deliver their foals. As lead mare, its was her job to watch out for the foals, and make sire they were okay when the mares went to go do seomthing. 
   "There are only a few mares left to foal this season, hopefully they come soon" she said smiling. She could wait to have her own foals soon.

Rowan
     "Sometimes the young and unexperienced have the advantage." he said as it was the truth. He had fought a young bachelor once, and lost a couple mares. "They will. Some come later than expected, Apollo was born earlier than expected." he said. Apollo had took a break as he nursed quickly.
     "Slow down Apollo. There's no rush," Nyx said as she had a handful of a colt.
