For those of you who don't know me, I've been a player of EV for about 14 years now, and while I'm not the most active person on the forums, I do enjoy partaking in the gift giving spirit around the holidays like many others. So whether you're celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Yule, Kwanzaa, Omisoka, Boxing Day, or just enjoying the weather, it's that time of year where we remind ourselves to cherish our family and friends and the time spent with them. It's also a time of year where I enjoy shopping and obnoxiously over-decorating my house! To show my appreciation of the Equiverse community, I'm doing a holiday giveaway (for old and new players).

I haven't run this event in a few years, but it used to be a tradition waayyy back with me to give away a year-long Deluxe account (40 credits) around the holidays, to help those who couldn't afford a membership and to keep the EV community growing. Since I feel like some make up time is in order, I'll be giving away 5 Deluxe memberships this December, one every week on Friday.

How It Works

While I say "Deluxe Membership" I'm not actually giving away an account. The prize is 40 credits, which is what the cost is for a year-long Deluxe membership. The winners of the 40 credits however, are welcome to use the credits how they please.

The giveaway is open to everyone. Basic members to already Deluxe, veterans to newly joined. As long as you're an active member. Simply post on the thread here that you would like to enter and your name will be added to the list. No direct message entries please, so I don't lose track. Every Friday in December, a name will be randomly selected from the list using an online random selector. When the winner is selected, I will send them a message to confirm that they still are an active player before sending over the credits. If the winner doesn't respond within 3 days, another name will be drawn.

Didn't win this Friday? No worries! Once you make your entry, your name will be on the list for ALL five drawings. No need to re-enter and it gives you more than one chance of winning.
