They're just like my old home the mare thought. "Oh, yeah I guess. I don't really know if I'm getting better or not," she said. Once she was as far as they could go Diva stopped. The person who lost his camera due to Vinn went to go get it when Dozer came running over growling as the man jumped back over the fence with his broken camera. "I just don't know what they want from me. Is it because of the race, last night?" she said confused. Diva wasn't much for a lot of attention, so it made her feel uncomfortable with the groups of people.

Snow stopped alongside Diva. She held her head under the filly's neck in the case that she fell down, Snow would be ready to catch her. "Perhaps both. It's quite hard to understand a human's intentions, they are quite confusing. I suppose all we can do is keep you away from that attention. If you think you are getting worse, maybe you should go back to the stables. Staying cooped up in your stall is better than getting even more injured, no?"

Diva sighed, "I'd rather be out here." she said, "But, I guess attention is what champions get whether or not they like it." Her leg still ached from landing on it painfully, but the pain should hopefully ease soon. She looked up at Snow, "Do you really think I'll race again? There's hundreds of racehorses who never raced again after a leg injury...." She said stopping herself.

Snow lifted her head and looked at Diva, empathy coating her eyes. "Diva, you don't have to worry. All those horses never raced again because they had permanent injuries. Injuries that would only get worse if they continued racing. Your injury is healing, and it will continue to heal until it is completely better. It will not prevent you from racing very long, if you're given the medicine prescribed to you. You need to have faith in yourself and believe that you will be able to race as soon as you get better."

Diva didn't say anything. She didn't know what to say, so she gave gave a small nod and a small smile. The filly looked around watching the colts gallop around. She noticed two of them fighting each other, but in a playful manner. She wished she could be galloping right now, but how could she if she could hardly walk? Let alone on three legs.

Snow was washed, groomed, and taken into her stall where her hay net and water trough had been refilled. She ate the hay and drank some water before bidding Diva goodnight. She fell asleep fairly quick. Her dreams were filled of horses galloping about in a large field that stretched farther than the eye could see. She was galloping alongside Diva and Vinn, and there were horses of all ages. The group was about as big as a herd! There were young colts and fillies like Snow, and older mares. There was one stallion in the front who looked back often to check no one had gotten lost.

Diva stuck her head out of the stall once she woke up the next morning. She kept quiet letting the others sleep. A truck pulled up, and Diva knew who it was by seeing the logo on the truck's door. It was the vet. Alaina came over greeting them. The two then walked into the stable and opened Diva's stall. She greeted Alaina, but not so much the vet.

Vinn snoozed off and on into the late morning, waiting for Nia to come and fetch her. Where is that peasant Nia? Vinn, annoyed, snored rather loudly. When being annoying suited her no longer, Vinn decided she had to stretch her legs right away... and she couldn’t do that in her stall. Vinn threw a Vinn sized fit, which involved rolling over in her stall and kicking the air. Finally amused grooms retrieved her from her stall and walked Vinn around the filly barn. Nia finally showed up, halfway through Vinn’s walk, and led Vinn to the pool. Vinn loved the horse pool- it was cool, refreshing. Nia had Vinn do a few exercises in the water and took Vinn back to her stall. Vinn found herself in the enclosed space- yet again. When Vinn had enough of sitting around, she undid the latch on her stable door and treated herself to a nice dip in the pond and a bask in the mud, where she caused quite a scene when the grooms figured out who she was.

Snow watched Vinn throw a fit in amusement. "Wow, you really wanna get out of there, don't you?" She snorted. After a while, one of the stablehands unlatched Snow's stall and led her out to get groomed. Snow quite enjoyed the soft brush pass through her coat, and her ear twitched in annoyance when the stablehand announced she was done with the grooming part. She then saw the stablehand grab a hoofpick and lean against Snow in an attempt to pick her hoof up. After a bit ofnickering at the now angry stablehand, Snow complied and let them pick her hooves.

Diva did not like the vet. Even though she knew the vet was there to help, she didn't care. The filly was hesitant, but eventually allowed the vet to examine her leg. The vet carefully unwrapped the leg and checked her leg out. It seemed as though the wound was healing, but she would have a scar running down her leg. Once finished the vet rewrapped the leg with a new clean bandage. The stitches would need to be taken out in a few days, hopefully. The vet and Alaina left, and Diva was glad that was over with for now.

Once Vinn had been wrangled to the washbay, the grooms called for backup and Vinn got a nice bath supplied by 5 different grooms. I should do this more often... Vinn enjoyed the pampering session and stole some treats from the grooms, and took off again before the grooms could return her to her stall. She made them chase her for a while- which was quite funny. Their short little legs were amusing, and after Vinn was caught the grooms were on high alert around her. Vinn loved to cause trouble and keep people on their toes, so the stall arrest wasn’t a whole lot of fun. The stall arrest did allow her to talk to Diva though, and check up on how she was doing. “Sounds like the vet is optimistic in your recovery Diva, that’s great news!”

Diva watched the whole ordeal with Vinn outside and stood with her head out of the stall as Vinn was put into her stall. "Yeah I guess so," she said. She was glad when she watched the vet leave. Diva was a bit happier when she heard her leg was healing. The filly looked down at her leg and tried to put it on the ground. She could put some weight on it, but not much.

Snow had been given a nice wash after the horse pool and taken into the stable where Vinn and Diva were chatting about. "Hey, my two favorite fillies! Vinn, were you causing trouble again? I bet you were" She turned to the mare in a jokingly accusing way. "And Diva, what did the vet say about your injury? is it healing good?"

Diva replied to Snow a bit distracted, "Oh uh yeah." She was focused on a horse training on the track. She just wanted to break out of her stall, and gallop across the track. The filly blocked out her surrondings and dreamed of racing on the track. Feeling the wind in her mane, and the thunder of her hooves hitting the ground.

Snow noticed Diva's far away look and snorted, turning her attention to Vinn. "Well, I'll leave her to it, then. How about you, out causing trouble?" She looked at her haynet and began to munch on the little bit of hay that was left.
