Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

"I'm fine. Just that, Stormfly has been liking me for over 4 years, and she saw me giving you a sweet look. She's the only one who knows we are mates."

Stormfly decided to go find her sister, wondering why she hadn't come out of that cave, went in, and raced out with shock on her face. "No freaking way! My sister has fallen for that brat Munar? Ewww......." She made a face and went to take a nap in the shade.

Whisper saw Stormfly's disgust on her face, ignored it, and purred sexually. *fade out?*

"Poor Stormfly! I wish I could help her, but I'm afraid I love you too much to give you away.." she whisper ed with a smile, passing him a tender nuzzle on the cheek.

Munar pulled away, looked at her and wondered if she truly wanted him, or was this some sort of plot. "Are you sure you want to be with me?" He questioned sweetly, wanting to be sure.

"And why not???? You know what I can do, you've seen me hunt. I am the strongest lioness in the pride but when I'm with you; I feel as weak as a newborn calf." Whisper indeed could not stay on her legs, for she trembling, with love, and with the desire to be a mother.

Then and there he realized she was telling the truth. And leaned closer, kissing her on the lips once again. (Fade out)

HJ and Tali happily chased each other in the flower filled grasslands by the Jungle, enjoying each other's company, and falling more and more in love with each other as the hours passed.

Marzipan laid by the pool, enjoying the breeze from the waterfall, the delicious scent of native flowers, and the twittering of the birds.

Vitani wore her flower crown proudly from Tali. She sneaked up behind Marzipan, moving her paws slowly onto his back, "Did you sleep well?" She massaged his shoulders, nuzzling his ear as she did so.

"Umm, everyone can see us. We might as well tell Queen Kacy, Queen Cali, and my parents that we have become mates before a nasty rumor starts." Marzipan was a little embarrassed, and moved to talk with the rulers.

(Oops thought everyone was gone, want me to edit?)

(No, it's the middle of the day, hottest part, so everyone is in the shade by the pool, enjoying the breeze. It'd be better to let them know, before Stormfly tells that they are mates. Besides, they need the ruler's and his parent's blessing.)

Marzipan walked over to Kacy and Cali, who looked at him with surprise. "Marzipan, is there something you need to tell us?" She asked him sternly. She was glad he was happy, but it was tradition to tell your rulers first, before you were intimate, and then you were given the blessing of the pride. "I and Vitani have agreed to be mates. I am sorry for breaking tradition, but we were both so overcome with love for each other, that we went ahead. Please forgive me."

Vitani followed Marzipan, standing beside him and speaking after he spoke. "We are sorry." She wasn't much for tradition, but nevertheless she obeyed it.

"It is fine. We shall overlook it. But be warned, if any of your cubs in the future do the same thing, this won't be overlooked again." Kacy nodded to her, even though Cali was Queen also, she didn't have as strong a personality as Kacy, and so let her cousin make most of the decisions; even though Kacy always asked her opinion before anything was put through. Marzipan sighed with relief, bowed deeply, and walked back to the rock he was laying on. "I know you don't care for traditions much, but this is the way of life in my pride."

"I'm sorry, I respect your traditions, I just forgot, that's all. I'll let you have some space." She apologized, looking at him for a moment before turning to leave. Vitani slowly trotted away from the pool, feeling a little bad for embarrassing him but tried not to think too much about it.

"No, please don't leave me. I like you being with me." He purred, but when he realized she decided to give him his space, he sighed, and trotted down to the pool. Walked into the shallow end and laid down in the water with his head resting on a rock.

Vitani came back after a little while, a cub chasing after her. She laughed as the cub jumped onto her back, stopping her in her tracks. She playfully pawed at the cub, playing with it for a little while before he ran off. I stood back up onto my feet, smile on my face as the picture of a grinning cub lingered in my mind. She spotted Marzipan a few feet away, tempted to go over to him but instead stood there, waiting to see if he'd give a sign that it was alright.
