Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Swiftly she jumped up into the air, landing on the gazelle and cutting its throat before it could call out. It bled out as she carried the gazelle back to their den, she turned her head, waiting for her mate to come.

Teferi continued to sneak closer to the strong gazelle who was very alert, checking for danger, and making sure his herd was safe. However, he didn't see the male lion who blended in perfectly with the grass, and cried out in terror when he was attacked. Terferi took him down hard, the rest of the herd cried out their warning sound, and raced away leaping. Teferi growled, as he tried to pinned the strong gazelle, who kept struggling, trying to get loose, but Teferi slammed one of his front paws hard on the neck of the gazelle, instantly breaking his neck, and was able to drag it away. The gazelle herd was in turmoil, for their leader was dead, and they immediately knew that it wasn't a Savanna lion; for it was against the Law and against the Circle of Life to take down the strongest members of any herd.

Lilly, the giraffe, had been in the area when the lion attacked. She snorted, and easily spotted the rouge. Angry, she tore forward, trying to trample him. "How dare you!" She yelled, trying her best to pull her long legs up to stomp on him, with no avail, she galloped towards the Great Rock, screaming for Tarzan.

Upon hearing his name, Tarzan leaped up, gave Marrana a nuzzle, and ran. Once outside he roared for the rest of the Guard, which soon assembled as he ran with Lilly. She explained to him what had happened, and began to try to figure out where the rouge was. She soon spotted him, and she and Bamar trotted away to hide, while Ginelly acted as bait. The zebra crossed the rouge's path, and began grazing a couple meters away. Tarzan and Kane hid father away, so the lion couldn't scent them.

Teferi had what he wanted; the gazelle. So he did what rogues did best; run away from the Lion Guard to the "safety" of the Nomad's Land. He never liked the taste of zebra's anyway. Once into the rocks of the Nomad's Land, he sneaked through one of the many trails, and slipped deep into the Forest to join Dollu. "Whew!!!! That was close!!!! I nearly got trampled by Lilly the giraffe and then would've been torn apart by Tarzan if I hadn't ran into the Nomad's Land." He told her after he threw the gazelle down on the ground.

Dollu laid down against him, laying her dead prey beside his and licking his snout. "Well teacher, how did I do?" she asked in a sarcastic voice, kissing his snout and cheeks. A hypnotic purr rose from her bosom as she loved on his face, giving all her attention to him.

"Perfect. Much better than me. The gazelle I caught wasn't worth almost being blasted to bits by Tarzan." Teferi shuddered at the thought. "I was being downright foolish, greedy, and not thinking straight. You got a good head on your shoulders. Also, the second thing as mates we need to do, is give each other attention. That is, if you want too." He said as he purred around her, keeping his tail on her body the entire time, and enjoying every curve to her lovely figure.

Kuizmu, having been given a space in the main den to sleep with his daughter, took the furs offered to him, made their bed, and then walked outside to look at the Savanna from the Great Rock. "Wow, what a view!!!" He could see why the pride had chosen this massive rock pile full of caves as their home. He could also see the river in the far distance, where the fire had stopped, and also where the Nomad's Land had been burnt to the ground. He sighed, missing his beautiful Azola, with her laughing blue eyes, her sweetness, her fierceness, and her loyalty. Thankfully, he had found their daughter, who was the living image of her mother, and wondered about his plans. Thinking to himself, "Should I mess up my daughter's chances of a stable home for once by trying to take over??? I don't know." He sat down, thinking deeply for a long time, and nodded. "If I dare to think of messing up my daughter's chance of a stable home, I shall leave. It'd be better for everyone." Having made this decision, he nodded firmly, and trotted off to find Vitani.

Marzipan was happily climbing the big tree, trying to get to the very top, and also kinda showing off for Vitani.

Dollu nuzzled his cheek for an answer, rubbing her nose cutely against his cheek. (-Fadeout)

Vitani giggled, watching Marizpan climb the tree, her eyes widened with curiosity. She blushed shyly as she sighed in admiration for the young Marzipan. It seemed little Vitani had a crush on him. "Be careful!" she called up, worried he might fall and break his small back. Her golden pelt glistened under the sunlight, emphasizing her bright blue eyes, which she inherited from her father.

"Vitani!!! Don't you climb that tree. We are lions. Not leopards." Kuizmu's voice rang out, frowning, and growling as he glared at Marzipan. Marzipan ducked down, sheepishly climbed down, and sat beside Vitani a little ashamed.

"Oh Daddy, he was just playing!" she fussed, prancing up to her father and nuzzling his cheek by standing up on her paws. Vitani fell back down onto all fours, standing beside both Marzipan, and Kuizmu. "What is it Daddy?" Vitani asked, looking up at him and seeing something strange in his eyes.

"I.... uh nothing. Just that, I was asked to be a warrior. Would you like your daddy to be a warrior, my little princess???" He purred, tickling her belly with his whiskers, and smiling at Marzipan; who smiled shyly back.

Vitani giggled at being tickled, pawing at Kuzimu playfully and sweetly nuzzling his cheeks. She liked being 'Daddy's little girl' but understood one day he might want to find another mate, then she wouldn't be his 'number one girl'. "I'd love that Daddy. Could Marzipan visit us once we found a den?" she asked grinning and glancing at Marzipan.

"Well, they gave us a space in the main den. I already made our bed." Kuizmu smiled playfully, continuing to tickle Vitani, and knowing that she needed a mother; but didn't want another mate, not yet, maybe never. He had been severely burned, literally, after finding Azola burned to a crisp, and terrified Vitani had suffered the same fate.

Vitani rolled out from under her father, jumping onto his back and wrapping her paws around his mane. "Could Marzipan stay with us then?" she asked, rubbing her head into her father's big mane.

(Does Marzipan have parents?)

(Tarzan and Marrana are his parents)

"I have a mom and a dad Vitani!!! My daddy is the leader of the Lion Guard!!!" Marzipan told her, puffing out his chest in pride. Kuizmu looked at him with surprise. "I didn't know that Tarzan was your father?! Whoa, you have some big paws to fill young man." "Ah, the position as leader of the Lion Guard isn't passed down to the next generation. It's earned sir." Marzipan brushed off Kuizmu's admiration with a shrug and smile.

Vitani pouted, sticking out her bottom lip and swishing her tail sassily. "Will you still come to visit us?" she asked in a pouty tone, jumping off of her father and prancing a little closer to Marzipan. I looked at Kuizmu, hoping it would be still alright with my father.
