Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Dollu looked dumbfounded in why Sengo wasn't accepting her affections, she had assumed he'd be overjoyed to see her! "Sengo, I had to fake my death, otherwise my parents would never stop nagging at me. Though I'm sad to say your cubs didn't make it." she sighed in a 'sad' tone.

Sengo looked horrified, he could hardly believe she was alive. Since he thought she killed herself he never had a reason to hate her, until now. She could have stopped what her parents did to him, but she didn't, she actually volunteered to the crime! "At least they don't have to know that they weren't even meant to be created!" he practically shouted, feeling himself becoming in a rage of anger.

Areli trembled with anger at this, but forced herself to stay still, and waited. She quietly called for Sengo and hoped he would come out; then she would follow him and Areli could pin her.

"It wasn't my fault!" Dollu cried, running to Sengo and nuzzling his snout. Sengo let out a furious roar, slapping her away and running from her. This seemed only to rile Dollu up more, she raced out of the den with him hoping to catch him. Dollu tried to reach him again, Sengo slapped her with his tail, not wanting to badly hurt her.

Areli jumped and pinned Dollu easily. "You stay away from MY mate you hear!!!!!!! You have no right to him after what your parents did to him. I oughta kill you right now but won't. Only because my father and Kunar taught me the value of mercy. Just go." She snarled, jumped off, stood by Sengo, and glared at Dollu with her teeth bared, fur standing up on end, and claws out.

"Look Dollu, I do not love you, I love Areli. And I'm not sorry! For once in my life I'm not sorry! If you are ever on the bridge of death, I will help you but please, leave us in peace!" he spoke calmly, moving closer to Areli till their skin brushed up against each other. Sengo looked away from Dollu, not wanting to see those beautiful eyes ever again.

Dollu said nothing, turned around and ran off into the desert. Letting out the roar of annulment as she ran.

"How dare she!!!! She could've stopped her parents from torturing you, but didn't. I don't like that the cubs died, but can't blame you for not caring if they lived, or died." Areli still was sputtering and hissed out the words. She walked away a short distance and then looked at Sengo. "Let me tell you this one thing. If I EVER see her pretty face around here again, I won't be as merciful." She jumped back onto the top of the den, grabbed the gazelle, and threw it down to the ground. After leaping down, she looked at him with a coy look, "Breakfast?" before digging into the deliciously still warm carcass.

Sengo let out a relieved sigh, Dollu was really gone, for real this time. He remained quiet as he laid down beside her, watching her eat the gazelle intently. She was not quite as beautiful as Dollu to some, but Sengo couldn't help but see her beauty radiating every single time he looked at her. To him she was a queen, a glorious, beautiful queen. He continued to watch her, his paws laid on top of each other as he ate. Dollu had decreased his appetite, therefore he wasn't hungry. He just wanted to gaze into his beautiful mate's face, and feel her tingly touch on his paw.

Areli purred, loving the attention he gave her, and continued to eat. True, maybe she wasn't half as pretty as her niece Kacy, but she had heart, and she cared about others. About how they felt, how they lived, protected the weak, and worked hard as the Savanna Healer. One day though, she would no longer be the healer, and eventually would turn it fully over to Malka; so she could give herself fully over to Sengo and they could raise their cubs together.

Sengo placed a paw on her back, giving her a sweet nuzzle before standing up and walking off to the water fall. He entered the water, relaxing his tense muscles and worried mind. Dollu brought back painful memories, being beaten by her parents, and also being taken advantage of, at such a young age.

She lifted her head from the carcass, leaving the rest for Sengo if he wanted it, and trotted over to the waterfall to clean up. She jumped in, sending a huge splash everywhere, soaking Sengo, and swam around the small pool; sighing with pleasure and scrubbing herself with her special soapy oil that she kept there. It was a natural oil, would not pollute the environment, and no residue would remain as the composition would cancel each other out after it came into contact with water. "Come join me baby. Just enough room for the two of us to snuggle together as we bathe." She purred to Sengo, acting all sexy, and very sweet. Once you got through her outside toughness, you found that Areli was extremely sweet, and fiercely loyal to you for life.

Sengo shook his head sweetly and answered tenderly "I'm fine right here, I just want to relax." He waded over to her, giving her a sweet lick on the cheek then returning to his spot against the shore line. Sengo leaned back his head against the rocks, looking up at the sky and going deep into thought. What if he hadn't known Areli when Dollu came back, would he have given in because of pity for her?

Areli finished her bath, climbed out, shook, and then laid down on her favorite rock in the sun to dry off. Purring, laying flat on her side with the sun making each piece of fur shine like pale gold, she looked every inch what she was; a strong, lithe, fast, and gorgeous lioness whose image was only spoiled by the large bump of her fast growing womb. The cubs were moving, making her moan in pain, for they must've been kicking or something, as her womb was going this way and that, and she smirked at Sengo. "I guess these little ones are taking after you, for they sure are active, and kicky!"

Sengo's eyes fluttered open, looking over at Areli and smiling at her. He pulled himself out of the water, padding over to her and laying down beside her, purring. He rubbed his face against her, resting his paw on her stomach and feeling their cubs kick. "Feisty like their mother and strong like me." he purred, licking her face lovingly.

"Nothing wrong with that. You look nothing like Mojo, but you are just like him, faithful, strong, and loyal. I like that in a male." Areli purred, she still was loyal to Mojo Nyguvu's memory, but had let the sadness that came after his death go, and given herself over to Sengo; who was so sweet and accepting of her troubles from the past.

Kito and Aziza made it through the long ways along the wall of the mountains and the desert without having any confrontation with Mohatu; though he had watched them many times, it was though he didn't care, or he sensed something about this particular male, and didn't attack. Either way, they made it to the green land, which was very narrow, before it went into a dry, and brown grassy land that reeked of rogues. "Great. Like this is what I needed to deal with." Kito groaned, not wanting to fight, but feeling that their best bet was to go straight through, instead of continuing to hug the mountains like they had been, as it would be faster, and perhaps less chance of encountering a fierce rogue. Both could clearly see that there were many caves continuing on in the mountains and it was obvious that rogues would live in them. "You need to be ready as do I Aziza." Kito said, looking at his mate, who nodded, and both set out with determination across the Nomad's Land.

Sengo kissed her muzzle, rubbing his face against her's softly. "If I hadn't met you...I believe I would have ended my life. My beautiful Areli, you saved me, soul and body." he whispered, looking into her lovely green eyes with his. He adored his Areli, she was his and he was her's.
