Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Keldeo laughed, "That's Brutus," she explained, while keeping an eye on Yurcombie and she rolled. "He was accepted into the pride a couple weeks ago, after he beat me in a race. " The albino licked her chest fur, "Sally is all eyes for him."

Gasping, and blushing madly, Sally accepted. "It is a wonderful morning." She stood and licked his nose, before tearing away. "Can't catch me!" That was a lie.

Star trekked up the Great Rock. "Kunar?" He asked. "Hello?"

"Oh, well, if my father accepts him then.... wait, did you say he BEAT you in a race? How on earth is that possible?!" Koki stared at Keldeo with shock, for he remembered her being the fastest lioness ever.

Brutus smiled shyly, trotted after her, for he could smell her scent on the wind, and used it to find her. He had every single intention of not going back to the Great Rock to sleep alone for another night, for he determined to ask her to be his mate. He would leave the Savanna Pride if she turned him down, for he loved her so much.

Kunar looked, saw a bluish colored lion, and he reminded Kunar of Sky; so obviously this was one of his sons. However, he didn't feel like dealing with Star at the moment, so he sent Zuza to talk to him. She flew over, tweeted, and bowed while saying, "King Kunar is busy at the moment. He has sent me to see what is it you need, oh son of Sky!"

Star flexed his wings, started by the sudden appearance of the bird. "My parents sent me to be trained by him," he explained, "as I cannot fight."

Keldeo sighed. "He's got cheetah blood." She told him, laying her blue eyes on the large lion. Daraja came and sat near his two girls, first bowing to Koki. "It's good to see you back." He smiled.

Sally bolted through a grove of strong smelling plants, and then hid in a bush, waiting for Brutus.

"Oh, but he cannot do this today, for he has to do something big today. Just between you and me, have you ever heard of Bacardi?" Zuza fluttered down, landed on his shoulder, and whispered into his ear.

"Cheetah blood, that'd make sense. Got the endurance of a lion with the speed of a cheetah. Dang, you've finally grown your mane Daraja." Koki grinned, for he had always teased Daraja for not having as big of a mane as did Tarzan did at his age.

Brutus trotted onto the scene, sniffing the air, his nose working overtime, while his eyes watched for any sign of the lovely Princess. He spied her easily, but pretended like he didn't, then turned his back, and gave her an opportunity to pounce on him; which he planned on ducking and pinning her to ask her the five most important, yet scary words ever uttered by beast.

Star nodded, "The one who stole Koki?" He asked. "I also have a special message I want no one else to hear, especially Koki." He stared at the bird. "But you may tell Toki."

Darjara glared at the young lion, puffing out his chest. His black mane was much larger than it was the past four years.

Sally leaped, clinging onto Brutus's head. She buried her face in his silvery mane, laughing.

Koki chuckled and trotted off to see Tori and the others. He didn't want to be caught lounging around with his family until after Bacardi had been dealt with. Aussie and the others pretended like they had nothing to do with the "stuck up" Savanna Pride, though in reality, they were welcome, and didn't like having to separate themselves from the rest of the pride. So, it was very boring to only be around each other, and not hang out with their new friends.

"Yes, the one who stole Prince Koki. We are getting rid of her for good tonight, so that is why the King is busy. And, do tell me. I shall only give it to the ears of Princess Toki!" Zuza twittered.

Brutus easily ducked down low, dumping the Princess onto the ground, and pinned her. "Now, these are the hardest words I shall ever say, so please don't make it harder on me than they already are." He sighed deeply, laid down beside her, and looked straight into the eyes that had captivated her ever since he had first laid eyes onto the Princess. "Will you be my mate?"

Sally froze, her jaw dropped. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" She squealed. The lioness licked all over his face, she had been waiting for this the moment she laid eyes on him.

Star glanced around. "I cant let anyone hear..." He came closer to the bird, and wrapped his blue wings around her. "Julie likes Koki, and wants to ask him to be her mate." He whispered, "But she's terrified."

"Um, that is quite impossible, for he already has a mate. After Bacardi is done away with, he is taking over as King of the Snowy Mountains, and his Queen is none other than Tori. They grew up together and love each other. I do believe she is expecting his cubs, but then again, I could be wrong." Zuza's bright blue face paled when Star mentioned that his sister was in love with the long lost prince, but then thought of a wonderful substitute. "Prince Tunar has clearly expressed to his father his desire for a mate, but hasn't found a lioness to his liking just yet. Perhaps he would be willing to be your sister's mate."

Brutus smiled deeply, rolled over in the grass, and allowed her to lick his face for awhile. He closed his eyes, enjoying her loving caress, and purred deeply; his claws going in and out.

Crimson trotted along the bouder of the Savanna, not actually knowing she was that close to the Savanna, her black pelt having a light shimmer from the sunlight. She gave a soft yawn and layed down to rest beneath a tree.

Kali walked along the border between the Savanna and the Nomad's Land. She was on patrol duty along with Tunar, to give Kunar a break. Then her sharp eyes spied a black pelt resting under one of the only trees that grew in the Nomad's Land, immediately identified a lioness, and felt worried. For, if any rogues came along, and found her there; she would be in deep trouble, for the rogues always tried to take advantage of any lionesses they found, and often were very vicious during their male thing. So, she quietly called to the lioness, while Tunar kept a sharp eye out for any males. "Hello! If I were you, I wouldn't sleep in the Nomad's Land, for you are most likely to be attacked by rogues."

Crimson looked up, and gave a soft smile. "Rouges? Well, thank you for the concern, but I haven't seen any males lately..well, besides myself..." she added the last part quietly before giving a more friendlier look to the two, "Might i ask your names?" she said calmly, tilting her head slightly.

"I am Queen Kali of the Savanna and this is my nephew Prince Tunar." Kali proudly said, while Tunar couldn't help but stare at the lovely black lioness, and liking her looks.

Crimson smiled, I'm Crimson, it's a pleasure to meet you. She gave a polite bow, one she had seen other lions do before. She kept glancing at Prince Tunar, curious about him but not asking question.

Tunar sensed that something was off about this lioness, so he adverted his look, and ignored her. Kali nodded to her and they walked off together.

Crimson gave a soft sigh, ...Bye... She was quite used to this by now, though, normally they were more mean-looking...but neither seemed mean..and the prince didn't look it to her!
