R.I.P Precious

Today (Dec 15, 2019) the good Lord needed a horse to ride, and only one of the best would do, so he took my dear, 26 year old mare, Precious, to be returned to me when I'm called up to ride for the Lord. She was my first horse, and truly one of the best horses, earning me my first buckle and ribbon this year by winning the youth barrel racing at the local fair this year, even at 26 years old. She carried me with spunk and pride through many firsts and hard times, and was proud to do so, people often not recognizing her when I rode her, she perked up so much and put so much pride in her bearing. You will be forever remembered and loved my precious Precious, enjoy yourself up there, you've well earned it my babe.

She passed peacefully, from the sign I read in the snow it seems she just laid down to sleep and didn't wake up.

I'm so sorry. Losing a beloved furry family member is never easy but for some reason losing an equine friend is just different, harder somehow.

RIP Precious, until you meet again!

I'm so sorry!  I might even have a horse that's gonna pass soon, so I know how you feel, Midnight.

I am so sorry for your loss. She sounds like a beautiful soul. I remember how hard is was to lose my first horse, Angel. Wild Appy that wouldn't let anyone ride her except me. I hope they are both running that big pasture in the sky together. Blessed be
