Louis
“That’s asking a lot; you know it’s impossible for me to be respectful,” Louis joked halfheartedly, glancing at the floor. He frowned and reached down, picking up the small dark orb that was the ball he’d formed earlier, and juggled it between his hands. As long as I’m not responsible for anyone, I should be okay. I can barely keep Harper alive, after all. Don't need more responsibility.

Aerow
"Yeah, I'm the one who has to put up with it." Aerow rolled her eyes. "Do you want to ask anything else?"

Louis
Louis thought for a moment before replying simply with, "No." He let the ball slip between his fingers and watched as it bounced twice and rolled across the floor. 

Aerow
Aerow nodded. "Alright. I'm going to be gone for a while so try not to do anything stupid, please? And keep an eye on Harper."

Louis
"I can guarantee the second - the first, not so much." Louis flashed her a weak grin. 

Aerow
"Well, at the least don't get in trouble. And by that I mean get every dimension to want to behead you." 

Louis
"I'll try my best. Also, I'm getting back at you for calling me a 'weird kid' in some formal thing. Just a warning." 

Aerow
Aerow let out a slightly nervous laugh. "Uh, yeah okay. At least I was being honest. Compared to me you're definitely a kid, and you are a little weird to so..."

Louis
"Yeah, whatever," he grumbled under his breath. "Don't you have somewhere to be?" 

Aerow
"Aw. And I was actually starting to think someone liked me." She pouted.

Louis
"I need to talk to Harper, so are you done yet?" 

Aerow
"Yeah, sure." Aerow left without another word.

Louis
He shook his head, though smiling faintly. Louis turned and retracked his steps to the main room, only to see Harper wasn't there anymore. Panic seized him. It wasn't until he discovered her in her room that he relaxed. "Hey, kid," Louis said, leaning on the door frame.

Harper
Harper had been staring at the ground in a trance, her mind still freaking out. She didn't realize Louis was there until a small while after he had come in, which she soon discovered when the shock of feeling someone else around her freaked her out. She looked over at Louis quickly, her body tensing defensively before she decided she was safe. "Oh, uh, hey."

Louis
He frowned. Her slow reaction wasn't a good sign, and she looked tense. "How are you doing?"
