"Get into trouble, mostly. But with you in that state, that's not really doable."

"I dunno.... it could be fun." She glanced around as well as she could, starting to be able to make out the things around her.

Alice
"I can just feel it." Alice sneered with a nasally impression of Mason, dashing after him (although she had to take about three big steps before being at his side again, score one for the beanpoles.) "Well just feel whether we take a left or a right here, gutter-rat."
Kaylee
Heavy footsteps alerted the girl to their dear friend returning and she quickly pushed Noelle behind her as much as she could, shielding one small broken body with another. The door flew open, causing Kaylee to cringe at the shrieking sound of the hinges and the boom of the wood slapping against the wall as he loomed over to two. "Well, girlies. Your buyer is coming to get you in a couple hours, so sit tight." He gave a shark like grin, turning to leave. "Oh, and Katherine?" Kaylee flinched, hard, at the sound of her name. "What?" She barked, voice portraying how completedly peeved she was to be in this dumb situation with her dumb family members, he wasn't even blood just married in and thought he could rule everything-
"Don't think we don't know about your.... physical state. How well's that body holding up in here?" She stared down at her hands and in the barely there light from through the doorway she watched the thin, scarred skin of her wrists peel back and reveal large, gaping holes of just.... nothing. Empty. Hollow. Void. Hot tears stung her eyes as she refused to answer him, just staring at herself until she had vanished up to her elbows, glaring up at him instead. With another loud laugh, he shot her a knowing look, and shut the door, throwing the room back into darkness as he left Kaylee to rot from the inside out.

Mason
At the intersection of sorts, Mase dug his heels in and slid to a halt, eyes swimming with the darkness of vertigo. He blindly groped for Alice for a moment in an attempt to keep himself upright, but, surprisingly enough, his vision cleared on its own within a few moments. He stood still for a second, looking back and forth from left to right, before shooting Alice a curt "left" and darting off again.
It did not take long at all for him to reach the building that he could sense Kaylee was in - maybe thirty seconds? That was arguably the one good thing about the gremlin - he could easily tell where she was if she was close enough, as the kid basically radiated time. He stumbled to a stop once more, turning and grabbing onto one of the staircase's handrails and clambering up the steps two at a time.

"You'd slow me down. Besides, I don't think you can get into much trouble when you're like that."
Louis
He pulled out of the darkness and looked around groggily. "Where is everybody?" Louis asked Fay, voice thick with sleep despite the fact he hadn't slept long.

Kaylee
Kaylee jumped backwards at the clanging sounds of the stairs as someone raced up them at top speed, loud even from behind all these walls. El looked up to her, horrendously worried even as she lay curled up in Kaylee's arms. "We're okay. I've got you now, kid." She grinned through the stinging saltwater tears rolling down her face, wiping them away roughly with her sleeve and smearing who knows who over her already bloodied, bruised face as she winced at the wicked pain coursing up her sides, leaving her to a terrible coughing fit where she hacked up what could have been blood once onto the damp concrete flood beside them. El scrunched her nose up, turning her face (and by extension her nose) into Kaylee's shoulder with a muffled "Ew."

Mason
He hurried inside the shadowy building, stumbling slightly when one final shock of yes, Kaylee is near coursed through his brain. He crossly shook it away, dragging his weary legs the rest of the way to the door he could tell she was behind. Mase shoved it open without bothering to knock or even say anything, taking one step inside before collapsing to the ground with a pained grunt. He pushed himself up on the palms of his hands, arms shaking as he turned his head - God forbid he attempt to move any other part of himself - to look over at Kaylee and her little friend, shooting them a weak, forced grin before his arms finally gave out on him. He hissed out a muffled curse, attempting to drag himself farther into the room, with very little luck. Only slightly deterred, he tried pulling himself up once again; the action caused his head to spin violently and resulted in him turning to the side and vomiting up what was most likely blood, hand clutching his broken midsection. Running... wasn't smart, he concluded, managing a few feeble coughs before raising his hand to wipe his mouth - a bad mistake. His vision, which was already very spotty from the nausea, grew dark, and he reeled backward in a last-ditch attempt to avoid his unsightly pile of vomit before passing out on the cold stone floor.

Kaylee
Kaylee cringed back against the wall, tucking El under her arm and behind her, freezing in her movements when she spied a worn albeit familiar grin, and she sucked in a sharp breath, scrambling forwards until she was jerked her to a stop, leaving her just out of reach of her friend. "Mase? Mase!" She couldn't tell whether there was more concern or urgency in her voice as she writhed, continuing to throw herself forwards with such ferocity that the heavy cuffs chafed her wrists, immediately rubbing them raw as she used the blood to help slip her hands out of the restraints. Ew. She thought half heartedly, but ignored the gore and pushed through the pain to reach her friends side. "Hey, Mase?" She shook his shoulder, moving to roll him over. "Mason. Mas-" Someone else skidded into the room, loud panting bouncing off the walls and becoming deafening. "Jeez, rat, think you could have run any faster?" The woman snarked, face contorting into something unreadable as she took in the state of the two. "Goddammit." She knelt down on the boys other side, glancing at Kaylee briefly. "We gotta go. Your 'friend' won't stay occupied forever." She slid a hand carefully under his chest, leveraging him until she could scoop him up, huffing under the new dead weight. She gestured with her head, carting Mason out of the door as Kaylee snatched thr key off of the wall, struggling to unlock El's cuffs with her trembling hands. "C'mon, honey. You heard the lady." The child raised her hands in a universal signal to be picked up and Kaylee obliged, racing out the door after the other two. She glanced around nervously at the floor to ceiling window that now had a suspiciously person sized hole in it, reaching the front door and gripping the railing with all of her remaining strength as she took the stairs two at a time, catching up to the others as the group raced away, and the lady led them through a couple streets before kicking open the door and unceremoniously dumping Mason on the couch. "Hey! Be careful with him!" Kaylee snapped, shoving her way between the two.

Harper
"Whatever, let's go back then," she grumbled, standing up again.
Fayre
Fay looked over at Louis, about to say something before whatsthemfaces came in. She examined Mason as he was plopped on the couch, slight (ever so slight) concern etching her face.

He shrugged. "Okay. Do you need any help?"
Louis
He winced when the door crashed open, his head complaining at the noise. Louis pulled himself to his feet and walked into the adjacent room. He wasn't sure if he'd fallen asleep or passed out or a mix of both. He glanced at the two girls he hadn't yet met and then at Mason. "Does anyone happen to have nectar or ambrosia?"

Harper managed a weak laugh. "No- no, I'm fi-" she was cut off when she fell down, cursing in French when she hit the ground. "I'm good."

Mason
Surely, the drop should've woken him. If not that, then maybe the fact that his bag was positioned under him, jabbing into what was left of his rib bones. At the very least, Kaylee snapping at her estranged sister to be a little gentler with the man who was literally dying should've done the trick - except it didn't. Mason's consciousness was entirely elsewhere, floating around in the dark void that he vaguely figured to be his mind. The small part of his brain that was still somewhat active was aware of the fact that he was dying, or at least the fact that he was pretty certain he was dying, but it wasn't nearly strong enough to pull him back to consciousness, let alone life. Though, if it was, would he even try to wake up at that point? Yes, he managed to decide through the thick, dark fog. Kaylee. Need... see Kaylee. Don't die yet. Need... Ha... Harper.

Kaylee
The girl set her glare on Louis, gesturing to herself with her free hand. "Do I look like I have anything useful on me?" Her voice rang with bold sarcasm and annoyance, and she gently discarded her charge onto the couch after shifting Mason's feet. Kaylee wrestled what she could see of the satchel out from under his body, setting it carefully on the ground against the couch before turning her back on the new group, kneeling with all of her attention on Mason. "John?"

Mason
His heart fluttered weakly in his chest, almost as if it were trying to alert Kaylee that he was still clinging to life, though nothing else about him carried the same message. He continued to lay in a still lump on the couch, the brokenness of his body revealing just how small he really was.

Louis
Whatever. I shouldn't care anyway. "No dying," Louis said, though who he was reminding about his rule wasn't clear. He walked down the hallway, poked his head into Harper's room and - "Gone. Great. Just what I need right now." Louis backtracked to his own room, pausing in the doorway to twist and look at Fay. "Let me know when Harper gets back." He swung his door shut.
