Fayre
"Then go find a bedroom and sleep." Fayre sighed, making a random string of darkness in her hands out of sheer boredom.

Silvestre
"No? I'm not tired like that, my muscles just need a break. Do you not know how running works?"

Fayre
She discarded the smoke, looking at Silvestre sarcastically. "No, never done it in my life."

Silvestre
"Hey, don't get mad at me, I'm not the one who said something stupid," Silvestre shrugged, raking his hand through his hair to get it back into its messy state (vs being plastered to his forehead).

Mason
Mase sighed, resting his head back in his hands and tuning out their conversation with very little difficulty thanks to the pounding pain that still lingered in his head. I don't wanna die like this. I hate this. Let me out of this dying body.

Alice
"M'not half dead." Alice grumbled, eyes opened narrowly from where her head was tilted back against the wall. "A little blood ain't nev'a hurt no one." Had she been any less tired she might have been bothered at her surprisingly well concealed accent leaking into her sentences, but she was covered in blood and bad memories and she really, really needed a nap.

Kaylee
After a little shuffling a little mop of curly hair stuck up from a suspiciously stained blanket in tatters, a patchwork of bruises covering the pale skin of the small child. Blotchy, tear stained cheeks led to bright green eyes and Kaylee saw her own eye reflected, saw John's eyes reflected and wailed, launching herself as far forward as the chains would let her, not caring how they rubbed the skin of her neck raw as she scooped the scarily small child into her arms. "El!" She crowed. "God, kid, what're you doing here?" The girl mumbled a response into Kaylee's shirt, and she pulled back to hear the weak whispering. "Oh. I- oh, god how-" She swallowed thickly. "How long?" A year and a half. She's been on her own for a year and a half.  The girl tucked her head under Kaylee's chin and whimpered quietly as she knocked a sore spot, curling up on the bigger girl's lap. "I'll get you out of here, honey. Promise." Kaylee sighed, listening as her niece's muffled sobs evened out into sleepy hiccups, thinking all the while about how to escape. Attract authority attention.... but I would get arrested and seperated from El. Call Aerow? She's busy, as per usual. And I just asked for help. Dammit...

Harper
Harper got bored with listening to their conversation, therefore huffing quietly and glancing around the room. Upon seeing a window, she rolled off the bed (almost falling onto the wall, but we won't mention that), and hobbled over to it unsteadily. She looked out of it at the baren wasteland outside, then quietly tried to find a way to open the window. She wanted something to do, and she was getting bored in the house, why not go for a little adventure? After a moment, she sucessfully opened the window, raising it up as high as she could reach and clumsily tumbling out of the window after she had climbed to the rim. She landed on her butt on the other side, giggling at her klutzy-ness, then stood up and ran off, tripping over her own feet and occassionally falling down because of it.

Mason
Mason began to say something in response to Alice's boneheaded statement, but froze before he managed to form any words, taken off guard by the sudden feeling of unease that had settled over his mind. He remained still for a few moments, racking his brain for a possible source of the odd apprehension. It was all a fuzzy mess of alien feelings and unwarranted bursts of what almost qualified as sound, made even less comprehensible by his splitting headache, but he knew enough about his abilities to have a general idea of what was going on. Kaylee- Trouble- In trouble- God why now?- Need help- Help- HELP-, His jumbled string of thoughts was cut short by him getting to his feet with surprising rapidity, turning to face Alice in the same motion, finger pointed at her in an almost beckoning gesture. "Kaylee's- Something's wrong with Kaylee. I can feel it - don't ask how. We gotta go- I gotta go. I- Are you coming?," he asked, speech irregular as the feelings of dread and urgency pounded his brain with more and more ferocity.

Alice
"Of course I'm coming, idiot!" Alice snapped, already standing with her jacket now on. "Where is she?"

Fayre
"Have fun you two. Don't get into any trouble." Fay smirked, rolling her eyes at how pathetic they were (and also forgetting in the process that she had more experience than them, but that didn't make them stupid). She looked over at Silvestre. "You like danger and running, right?"

Silvestre
His curiosity at what was happening had been piqued, but he hadn't moved as it wasn't really his place (he has some manners okay). Silvestre looked up at Fay when she addressed him. "Sure do. Why?"

Fayre
"Are you at all protective over kids?" Fayre asked, dismissing his question rudely.

Silvestre
"I... am a kid?" Silvestre did actually give her question some consideration, though. "And it depends, really."

Fayre
"That's why I'm asking- most kids don't care about other kids." She shrugged. "At least in my experience." Fay thought about her options for a moment, tilting her head. "Why are all the kids getting in trouble? Anyways- there's this particular kid that's in a lot of trouble. I can't say who cause it's a signed contract with Aerow. But her only form of protection is currently, uh.... disabled, and she's getting into trouble."

Silvestre
"Okay. So you want me to do something about it, right? I'm not a great choice, really, considering I'm reckless and don't think through my actions." Silvestre stopped leaning on his hands and sat up.
