 "Uh-huh." He paused, listening to the kid talk with narrowed eyes and an expression of slight disdain. "'Exciting' and 'fun' are probably the last two words I'd use to describe it, but sure," he muttered, shaking his head slightly. "So, Silvestre, where'd you come from? Like, in the real world, I mean."

Silvestre
"New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Shark attack capital of the world." He grinned and lifted his arm with his bracelet. "My mum got me this bracelet - it has a shark tooth, see? I never got bit, though." 

Mason
 "Oh, well isn't that lovely?," Mase commented sarcastically, the statement directed at himself more so than Silvestre. "Ireland here, and I'm not getting anymore specific than that for... reasons. I was born in Maryland though, pretty close to Harpers Ferry."

Harper
Harper's headache has simmered down quite a bit, but she still wasn't feeling well enough to go swear everyone out. Instead, she laid on her bed and listened to the most interesting conversation out in the living room. After a moment, she propped herself on her elbow, yelling, "I don't have a fairy!!" 

Silvestre
He looked at the hallway curiously. Another one? They had a decent number of people here. The knocking had stopped a little bit ago and Silvestre unlocked the door, cracked it open, and peered outside. He snickered, seeing the three men trying to hide nearby so as to ambush him. The boy turned back. "Well, I can probably sneak away now. Thanks for letting me hole up in here. Gramps is determined to stick me in some random 'family' for some reason. He's tried a lot over the years. Dunno why he hasn't given up yet." Silvestre shrugged and glanced out the door to find the best possible path to take and avoid being seen. 

Fayre
"You can stay- Louis probably wouldn't mind," Fay muttered, sniffling again.

Silvestre
He paused to think over that. "Everyone here looks to be in kinda rough shape, so it could be fun. But I think they'd just try to set it up as my permanent 'family.'" 

Fayre
Fah thought over that for a moment, then sighed. "Well, if Aerow is kind enough to allow it, which it feels like she is, I can give you passage to be on your own."

Silvestre
"Woah, no way! That'd be awesome! Then I wouldn't have to worry about evading Gramps for the next four years of my life." Silvestre was obviously pretty excited about this idea. If his enthusiastic response didn't sell you, he had whipped around and his eyes were really bright, accompanying the huge grin on his face. 

Fayre
Fay was about to say something, but ended up grumbling at the air about nothing. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay fine Aerow approves, I approve, tada it's done. Don't be stupid with your privaleges or I will do a lot more than just give you to a family."

Silvestre
"Me, be stupid? Heresy." He paused. "Is there like a paper I can show Burton for proof?" There was no way Burton would believe Silvestre on word alone. 

Fayre
Fay yawned, leaning against the couch and half-masking her eyes. "Nah, they'll get the memo. Sorta like how everyone leaves Louis alone even though he should be getting chased down and almost killed by now."

Silvestre
"Oh, okay. Cool." He stepped away from the door now that he wasn't in a hurry to leave and found an empty spot on the floor where he sat (instead of, you know, using a chair like a normal person). 

Fayre
"Excuse you, you little pipsqueak. This is my floor?" Fayre growled, glaring at the boy. "Go, like... I dunno, pester someone else or something. Leave the three half-dead people alone."

Silvestre
"Pffft - was that - haha - I think I'll stay here, thanks." He leaned back on his hands and smirked up at Fay. "I just ran around the division like three times. Believe it or not but most of my energy is spent."
