Torpid Void

Louis
Louis looked at the hall. Had he heard...? He got to his feet and walked to Harper's room. Looking inside he could immediately see that she was awake, though she didn't look very rested (to put it lightly). He entered and went over to her bed. "Did you say something?" She's shaking. That's not good.

Harper
"Yeah... I called for you," she whispered. Everything sounded louder and harsher to her than it was, but she couldn't tell whether she was being loud enough or not for anyone to hear her very well. On top of that she could tell her obviously lack of control was causing her to make her slur her words, and she tried desperately hard to seperate them. "Th- my headache's worsened."

Louis
He studied her for a moment, trying his best to stay calm. "Are you cold? You're shaking." I don't think there's medicine here, what am I supposed to do? Oh - Ace had that thing with the warm towel. I could do that for her headache. Yeah, that's somewhere to start. Louis took a quiet deep breath. 

Harper
"No, not at all," Harper managed, inhaling and exhaling deeply. "I don't want to go back to sleep either."

Louis
"That's okay, you don't have to sleep. Do you want to come out and sit or do you want to stay in here? Mason and Alice finally got here, and Fay's back." 

Harper
Harper attempted to sit up, but her vision went black immediately, which worsened the pain further. "I don't think I could really walk right now..."

Louis
"I can help you. It's up to you where you want to go. Do you just have a headache or is there anything else?" 

Harper
"Migrane, feeling weak, now I can't see..." Harper shrugged. "I'll stay in here."

Louis
"Alright, I'll be right back. Don't try standing up or anything, okay?" Louis picked up her cup and then left the room. He had to step around Fay to get into the kitchen, where he began to search for a towel. His search grew a bit frantic as he couldn't find one at first, but finally he opened a drawer and there were a few clean towels nestled inside. With a quiet sigh of relief he picked one up and carried it over to the faucet, where he filled Harper's cup back up with cold water before turning the faucet so the water would turn warm. "Hey, Fay? Harper's headache seems to have gotten worse. Could you go look at her? I'm getting the feeling it's more than just a migraine." Louis tested the water with his finger to find it had warmed up considerably and pushed the towel under the flow. 

Fayre
Fayre had been staring at the floor in utter shock, but managed to look up at Louis' words. "Wha-? Oh yeah, sure." She stood up and waited for Louis so she could just follow him.

Mason
 Mason stumbled and nearly fell over when Alice pushed him; he shot her a glare before wearily lowering himself onto the couch. His eyes drifted around the room, coming to rest on the teenage girl on the other side of the room more than once. She appeared vaguely familiar, though he wasn't quite close enough to her to determine if he really did know her from somewhere or if she just reminded him of one of the thousands of people he'd met in his lifetime. He sighed, running a weak (and admittedly slightly shaky) hand through his hair.

Louis
The towel was soaked in warm water. Louis turned the faucet off and wrung the towel out so it was just damp instead of dripping wet. He picked up the cup and returned to Harper's room. "I brought you water. You should try and stay hydrated."

Harper/Fayre
Fay followed Louis, stopping in the doorway and examining Harper. She wasn't really sure what was wrong, but she could tell there was something wrong.
Harper accepted the water, taking a sip of it as best as she could. "Thanks."

Louis
"Yeah, no problem. Here, put this on your, uh... head? Ace said it works, but I didn't accept it so I'm not sure what you're supposed to do with it." He offered Harper the warm towel.

Harper
"Probably your head... my dad said it can be helpful to a degree, though I don't even know how we got on to that subject in my lifetime, but okay." She put the towel on her head, closing her eyes to avoid the blackness that covered them when they were open.

Fayre
Fay stared at Harper for a minute, then went back out to the living room, leaning on the wall and looking at Mason. "Thought I should inform you Bailey's dead." She smiled tauntingly and turned back around to go into Harper's room.
