Aerow
"I honestly don't know. She knows more than I do about many things... maybe that's interfering with her existence here." Aerow pondered it over, not entirely sure what to do or what even was happening. "She has a lot of power, although where it comes from, I can't tell. It's not mine."

Louis
He mumbled something unintelligibly in response- Greek, probably. "Harper, stay with me, okay? Wake up. Can you hear me?"

Harper
Harper managed to nod slightly, not being able to find her voice. She could hear something- was it talking? She couldn't tell, but she could make something out inside her mind. Or was it her mind? She didn't really know anymore.
Aerow frowned, looking at the child's hand. "And that shouldn't be happening. I mean, nobody here has ever managed to be taken over by darkness and yet still be here. Which is why I'm assuming it has something to do with both reality and void. Almost like they're both fighting over her existence."

Louis
"Yeah, maybe." Louis had been looking at Harper's face, hoping she'd open her eyes, but found his gaze pulled to the unsettling hand. She belongs with her family.

Aerow
"Maybe Fay could help...?" Aerow muttered, mostly to herself. She shrugged. "I'd get Harper back to your place and just get her back into being existent. I'll make Fayre go over and see if she can help in any way."

Louis
"Okay. I'll do that," Louis murmured. He gently picked Harper up, subconsciously avoiding contact with her darkened hand. Carefully, he got to his feet and glanced at Harper before sighing quietly and starting down the road.

Aerow
Aerow watched him go, retreating into the air after waiting for a moment.

Louis
His sign was still on the door. Somehow he managed to turn the handle without dropping Harper. He entered and went to her room, laying her carefully on the bed. "Please wake up," Louis said quietly. Again he glanced at her hand. He never really understood why he felt the urge to do this, but he went to poke her hand (maybe to test it's solidity?). He did so, and the moment he did a jolt bodyslammed him. His body recoiled as he simultaneously crumpled to the floor, vision and mind flooded with black.

Harper
Harper stirred, finally opening her eyes a squinting at the ceiling, though she couldn't make out anything around her. Her hand felt completely numb, and her heartbeat throbbed in her ears. And this is how I die... too bad I don't even know how I died... or that I even died... wait am I dead?

Louis
The black was disorienting, and Louis couldn't tell if his eyes were open or not. He finally decided they weren't, but when he tried to open them they refused to budge. Not only would his eyelids not move, but neither, it seemed, would any other part of him. He was in a heap on the floor, unable to move. He didn't know what floor, nor did he even realize he was on a floor. He couldn't remember where he was or why he was there. From his perspective, he was stuck in the black. It swirled around him and sometimes through him; he was completely engulfed in it (at least, inside his head). After he had stopped freaking out about not being able to move, or speak, or do anything but just be in the utter blackness, he decided it wasn't all that bad. He would have preferred mobility, but the darkness didn't seem threatening.

Harper
For the first time in her life (it wasn't actually- she likes to exagerate), Harper felt afriad. Of what, she didn't know, she just knew it was there. It wasn't the darkness that scared her, it was something else. But she couldn't define it.

Louis
After trying to decide what to do, Louis strained to move or at least see. He wasn't sure if it was himself, the dark, or none of the above, but suddenly he felt a prompting to go to sleep. He knew he was conscious because, though he couldn't see or move, he could feel that he was laying on something and could hear the quiet sounds of what he assumed was a house. Somewhere in his mind reminded him that Harper was in trouble, and it took him a moment to recall who Harper was and why she was in trouble. Aerow said she'd send that girl over. She'll be fine, another part of his mind - or maybe it wasn't his mind, he couldn't tell - responded. Louis relinquished his mental hold on his consciousness and allowed the comfort of the darkness to lull him toward sleep.

Fayre
Fay had been working on getting a few people to actually do something with their lives. Someone had informed her of three adults who decided it would be a good idea to just sit in their houses all day, not pulling any of their weight, which immediately set Fay off. She did enough of the work around here, she didn't need anyone giving her more. Was she yelling? Yes, very loudly in fact, which wasn't common for her. The blonde girl managed to keep herself very quiet and collected during her lifetime... until now. Her rant was cut off, however, by Aerow, who stood about for a minute staring at a quite enraged Fayre. Needless to say, Aerow finally got her attention, managed to explain what had gone on with Harper, and then sent a now complaining fifteen-year old to go figure out what was wrong.
With that in mind-
Fay found the house, still muttering under her breath about multiple things. She knocked on the door, but never recieved and answer. Well that's lovely... and then she proceeded to let herself in. She glanced around without saying anything, her mind getting distracted quickly. She started down the hall in search of someone. I remember who lived here before. They were such nice people.... good times, good times. She found the room Harper was in and just sort of stabalized herself in the doorway. She felt a bit dizzy from her now dissolving anger, and seeing a half-dead child on a bed didn't make her feel any better.

Louis
The sound of footsteps pulled him abruptly away from sleep, of which he had been on the brink of. He still was unable to see or move, but he was conscious again. Louis wasn't sure who was there. Maybe that girl Aerow had mentioned. That was probably it. Harper would get help. The fact that he had already been pretty tired (from not getting any sleep and also everything that had happened) did not help, since he didn't have much motivation to remain awake. Whatever it was that kept telling him to sleep was pretty persuasive in his current state. Having decided the footsteps weren't a threat, Louis gave in again to the prompting and fell, more quickly this time, toward a restful state. While the coolness of the dark was comfortable, the warmth that wrapped around him when he started to doze off reminded him of when he was younger and would pull blankets fresh out of the dryer before bed.

Fayre
Fay stared at the figure for a moment, then exhaled and went over to the bed. And then she discovered the other body. "Omigosh people, can't you all not die please?" She went over to Louis and knelt down next to him, studying him for a moment before making a clicking noise thoughtfully. "Dude, wake up would you? You're freaking me out."
