Torpid Void

Louis
"Not in the house." Louis stood and exited his bedroom, having decided that spiraling into his thoughts could wait until night. 

Harper
Harper went over to the door, opening it and standing in the doorway. "So can I swear now?"

Louis
"Nope. Still under the roof." Louis crossed to the blanket he had tossed across the room and folded it back up neatly, putting it where it had been before. 

Harper
Harper stepped back a bit. "What about now?"

Louis
"Well, you're technically outside now. So, I guess." Louis shrugged.

Harper
Harper was about to say something, but heard a voice outside and went back into the house, closing the door behind her. "I hate this place."

Louis
He hummed in understanding/agreement as he finished getting the perfect fold on the blanket. When he had completed his self-given task, he turned and surveyed his room. Okay, he'd admit it... He was bored. Maybe it was time to see about the mentoring stuff. 

Harper
"I want a stick." Harper left and went to her bedroom with that hanging in the air.

Louis
He laughed, aimlessly walking into the kitchen before turning around and heading for his room. "I'm going to be busy for a bit. Let me know if the others show up." Louis closed his door behind him and sat on the edge of his bed. "Hey, Princess, are you available?"

Aerow
Aerow formed in front of him, sighing quietly. "Always am."

Louis
"Cool. So, uh, you said you can mentor me, right?" 

Aerow
"Something like that, yeah," Aerow muttered.

Louis
He nodded. "Great. I was wondering if maybe we could start now?" 

Aerow
"If you meet me on the outskirts of the city. Probably better not to do it around civilization."

Louis
He thought for a moment. "I can't leave Harper here by herself."
