Auberon
"Can you sense monsters?" Auberon answered with a question.

Kahlen 
"Four of them. But they weren't- I couldn't before." Kahlen's grip on her locket tightened, which was probably going to leave an imprint on her palm.

Auberon
"Well, there was something un-human about one of the girls here..." he mumbled. "She went past the stairs- that's why I dragged you back up here."

Mason
 He wordlessly sat down in a seat at the back of the room, not even acknowledging Em. He glanced around the room, eyes scanning the various inspirational posters and such on the walls. I think they got more tacky with time.

Margot
She flipped through her history book, not paying too much attention to the teacher anymore. None of the information would be relevant until they actually started doing schoolwork. Em studied a famous painting that the book had on one of the pages. 

Kahlen 
Kahlen thought for a moment. "So... do we go deal with it, or...?"

Auberon
"I dunno. You're the raiding murderer and I'm the peacekeeper- you make the decision," Auberon shrugged. "The peacekeepers always get killed."

Kahlen 
"We'd better go deal with it. The only problem is that once we attract the attention of one, the other three are probably going to notice."

Auberon

Auberon sighed. "Why does this have to be so complicated?"

Kahlen 
"We're demigods. It's never anything less than complicated," Kahlen muttered. "Come on."

Auberon
Auberon nodded and closed his eyes momentarily.

Kahlen 
"Should we go to the farthest and work our way down or go the other way?"

Auberon
"Or maybe we could just let them come to us," Auberon suggested.

Kahlen 
"It never ends well that way. We'll go this way," Kahlen said, heading toward the back staircase.

Auberon
Auberon nodded his head and followed Kahlen.
