Chance
Chance was a little surprised Mason didn’t know how to play his instrument considering how particular he’d been at the audition. That explained why it sounded a little rough when they’d played a second ago. He shifted his guitar and stuffed some of the papers back into the case pocket, shrugging in response to Mason’s question. “A while.” He pulled the notebook from the depths and flipped it to the next blank page, marked with a slim ribbon bookmark attached to the binding. He tapped his pen before writing a quick note to Raina, a question regarding an idea he’d had. He closed the book and gently put it back, dropping the pen in after it and zipping the pocket closed.

Mason
 Mason cursed, standing up and laying his bass on the coffee table to his left. "We should... probably do something about that. I-," He cut himself off, swearing again. "If he's dead, I swear to- He better not be dead."

Chance
He didn't reply. There wasn't really anything he could think to say. He set his guitar to the side and looked up at Mason, unsure what to do. He didn't really know Auberon so didn't know how to help or where he might be or why he might not have made it back yet (other than his injuries).

Mason
 Mason sighed, rubbing a hand down his face rather aggressively as he deliberated what to do - which, for the record, only consisted of him silently screaming things that cannot be written here. He removed his hand from his face with a quick and clearly agitated motion, glancing back at Chance. "Well, get up, we're going," Mase told him tersely, grabbing for his keys on the table beside him without actually looking at them, which took longer than it would have if he had looked at them, but he was mad at himself and would gladly rather be perverse than make things easier for himself.

Chance
He pushed aside his things and clambered to his feet. About the same time Mason managed to get ahold of his keys, Chance was opening the door. He held it open for Mason to go through.

Auberon
Auberon heaved a sigh of exhaustion, confusion, and weakness. He was feeling terrible, he had to admit, though he knew full well it was his own fault. Half of him wanted to pass out and never come back to reality again, but the other, more stubborn side of him urged him to keep his life a little longer.
"Fine," he muttered to Outlaw, his brain erasing most of what had happened thirty seconds ago. "I guess you know best anyways." 
He silently wondered if his emotions had gotten the better of him, and if he had permanently scarred the only sibling relationship he could ever hope to have again. The thought made his stomach turn, which didn't help much, but he willed his body to fix its pitiful state, letting his eyes stare blankly at whatever lay in front of him.

Outlaw
She eyed him with worry, but all she said was, "Need help getting to the truck?" She pulled her truck keys out of her pocket as she waited.

Auberon
Auberon shook his head, a slight movement that no one could make out. He blinked quickly and got up, stuttering, "N-no, I- I'm fine, thanks," before awkwardly almost falling to the side. Regaining his balance, he stood there quietly, clenching his fists out of mixed emotions.

Outlaw
"Come along then, yah?" She said, turning herself towards her truck but waiting for Auberon to start walking before she did.

Auberon
The terrible conditioned boy stumbled forward timidly, stopping next to Outlaw and trying not to let the height comparison make him think of old times. He put his hands in his pockets and gazed at nothing, mumbling, "Or we could just.... hang out."

Outlaw
"Auberon, you can barely stand. You need to go get some rest." She pressed gently.

Auberon
"I can rest in a vehicle that moves on five- FOUR wheels," he argued. "I'll be fine I am a healer, I can heal myself, I can.... be ok." He wasn't about to admit that being around people he didn't know well was terrifying to him at this time, so he somehow hoped Outlaw would catch on or something along those lines.

Outlaw
"Come to the truck then, and we'll figure it out from there. Would you prefer to go back with me instead of I take you back to Mason's?" She asked, starting towards the truck slowly while ready to catch Auberon if need be.

Auberon
"I mean..... if it's not a bother, I'd prefer to go with you..." he replied, managing to walk in a straight line.

Outlaw
"Naw it ain't" she said, unlocking her truck and opening the passenger side door for him.
