Only The Strong Survive

Ahanu
"One time Aylin saw a wild rat, and since she'd played with mine before she wanted her own. She tried to catch it - she was younger then - and at first she wasn't able to. But somehow she ended up grabbing it and got bit. We took her to the doctor to check for rabies but she was clean. The poor rat was probably terrified."

Ryan
 After a little while, he hesitantly guided his mount into the clearing, eyeing the fort the entire time.

Charity
"Siblings..." Charity muttered, too quiet for Ahanu to hear.

Ahanu
Ahanu got stuck in some memories, which was a little bittersweet considering they all contained him, Aylin, and his parents. Two of which were dead, one of which was missing, and the other far away. He finally blinked and focused on Charity again. "I'm out of topic ideas."

Charity
Charity shrugged. "It's fine. We could just go back or something. I doubt I can sleep again."

Ahanu
"Oh, okay. What about whatever it is you were making?" 

Charity
"Braydon said he'd finish it."

Outlaw
She followed it in and closed the gate. "I'm just gonna call you Empire, alright?" she tossed over her shoulder as she did so.

...
He snorted doing some weird trot in place for a minute before tossing his head.

Outlaw
She turned to look at him thoughtfully, leaning against the gate as she thought through her plans. She again removed her hat to press a hand on the bleeding, then replaced it.

Empire
He decided it would be fun to go off bucking around while she was thinking, which he surprisingly found very entertaining.

Outlaw
She watched him, then thoughtfully moved to the center of the arena, still thinking.

Empire

Empire stopped bucking and went into a well-paced trot around Outlaw when he saw her go into the middle of the arena.

Outlaw
"Alright then laddy" she muttered, watching him keenly, reaching out with her mind to get a feel of his temperament.

Empire
He snorted again, going down into a walk and tracing the ground with his nose. He stopped, hopped back a step before sliding on his hooves and bucking off in the other direction.
