"Makes sense... I guess," Auberon mumbled. "But names get torn and misused, sometimes wrongly abused- life is all about clearing a name, not erasing it forever all because it's something bad to you."

Outlaw 
“I’ve thought of it. But there’s no reason to clear it. No one knew we existed besides our folks and the Indians, and the Indians knew me by Outlaw. Best leave the past buried where it belongs.” She replied, unwrapping two more candies. 

Auberon
"The past can't stay dead. It's the one thing that keeps crawling out, always more and more torn and tattered to haunt you when you think it's rightfully gone. Your past is tied in with others' pasts. Unless their pasts are dead, yours will never be dead."

Outlaw 
She grinned slightly. “No one else I know from the 17’s, 18 hundreds are still around. I’d say my past is dead. It can stay that way, for all I care.” 

Auberon
"Hmm, lucky you. And yet your current name could easily be betrayed by so many people right now. And what would you do? Run away." Auberon stared at the ceiling, tossing a candy up and down.

Outlaw 
“What do you mean, my current name could be betrayed?” She questioned, confused. 

Auberon
Auberon looked over at her. "I dunno, you just run about from people a lot. I'm pretty sure there's a reason for that."

Outlaw 
“Yeah, there is.” She agreed, popping more candies into her mouth. 

Auberon
"Tada." Auberon finally uwrapped the candy and ate it.

Outlaw 
“What’s tada?” She questioned. 

Auberon
Auberon whipped out a card out of nowhere, then made it disappear without any trace of where it could be.

Outlaw 
“Wow” she said without enthusiasm. “Now watch. I know some tricks too” She took a deck of cards out of her pocket, laid them on her palm in stack, then held her palm out in plain sight. She then snapped the fingers of her other hand. The cards went up in flames at the snap, leaving only the ace of hearts. She picked it up, played with it a bit to show it was solid, then blew gently on it. It dissolved into a pile of sand on her hand. 

Auberon
"Oh, how amazing," Auberon said, not turning his head but watching unnoticeably out of the corner of his eye. "At least I use brains and not magic. Besides, which one is the minor goddess again? Was it Hecate or Athena? Oh, right, Hecate, the goddess of magic."

She laughed, going onto the porch and tossing the sand off the porch. She yawned. “Ok maybe the blow to the head didn’t work for the tiredness” she muttered under her breath to herself. She took her hat off, prodding at the area with her fingers. Yep, still bleeding. She plunked her hat back on.

"At least I can like... bake... and cook... and... um... shapeshift! Actually that seems like a good idea right now... hey I have an idea," Auberon sat up. "If I were to shapeshift into a horse... would you break me? I'd love to make your life difficult."
