Only The Strong Survive

Ahanu
Seeing as she hadn't left yet, Ahanu filled the silence to try and make it less awkward. "So, um, I was thinking... Maybe we should take the horses back with us? I don't think they have an owner anymore, and - what would happen to them if they were left here all alone? I don't know anything about horses so maybe they would be fine, but... I dunno." Ahanu shrugged.

Charity
Charity shrugged. "That's a lot of horses to bring back. We could come here everyday and bring a few for us." She sighed miserably and brought her knees to her chest. 

Ahanu
"That sounds good." He glanced over at her. "Are you okay?"

Charity
"I haven't been okay for two years, and I doubt I'll ever be okay again," she mumbled, shrugging like it wasn't a big deal. Even though it was true, she had gotten so used to it that she didn't really see it as such a big deal.

Ahanu
"I hope you can be someday. Do you want to go?" 

Charity
"Yeah, sure," she replied, standing up and goung to grab the saddle again.

Ahanu
He squirmed out from under the mare's head. He probably could have just lifted it off because as soon as he was out she picked it up herself and looked at him. He shrugged and stood, brushing off his jeans, and following Charity.

Charity
Charity grabbed the tack, walking bavk up towards the stables. Once she was there, she put the saddle back and looked around.

Ahanu
He looked around the stable and then glanced at Charity. "Should we take some of this stuff back with us? Like the brushes?"

Charity
"We could if you wanted too," she replied, grabbing some lead ropes and halters.

Ahanu
"I have no idea what horses need, to be honest," Ahanu said with a small laugh. "How many can we take at one time?" 

Charity
"How about we just take mine and whatever horse you want for now," she replied. "I'm not going to take any of the saddles cause they're too big."

Ahanu
"Okay, that works for me. I want to take that mare." 

Charity
Charity nodded and handed him a lead rope. "I guess, if you want."

Ahanu 
"Do you want to go straight back or should we do something first?"
