Charity
"Well, the horses are all down in the pastures, so just go make sure they have water I suppose." She started heading towards the pasture, stopping momentarily next to Ahanu and looking down at his hand. She bit her lip and continued walking.

Ahanu 
Ahanu stood still for a moment, thinking. "Charity, wait," he called, stepping forward and hurrying after her. 

Charity
Charity stopped and looked over at him. "What?"

Ahanu
He closed the distance and stopped next to her. "I just want you to be happy. You seem upset, and I know I probably can't fix that, but I want to do what I can. So if you're feeling guilty, please... don't. If it's something I did, please tell me. And if it's something totally different I'm always here if you need to talk."

Charity
Charity stared at Ahanu for a moment, then shook her head slightly. "I- uh... I can't, Ahanu."

Ahanu 
"What do you mean?" he asked. A feeling of dread crept up his spine. 

Charity
Charity looked down at the ground. "It- I... Dunno..."

Ahanu
"What - Charity..." He looked down at the horses and cleared his throat. He looked back at Charity. "Please - what do you mean?"

Charity
"I can't do this anymore..." She wanted to say more, but she decided she had probably already said enough.

Ahanu 
He stared, frozen for a moment. "I - what?" He shook his head, silently mouthing an echo of the last word. 

Charity
"For your own good," she mumbled, almost completely untranslatably. She started heading back down towards the pasture.

Ahanu 
He blinked, then lunged forward and snagged her hand. "Wait, please. Just... hear me out, okay?"

Charity flinched slightly, but stopped. "Fine."

Ahanu 
He let go of her hand and looked at his shoes. "I understand if you need space or time or even if you just don't like me. But if your reason is truly because you think it's for my good, I'd - the best thing for me is to talk about things. If I'm left on my own without having discussed the whys, it just... it overwhelms me." 

Charity
"I-" Charity sighed and looked up at the ceiling with a groan. "I don't want to."
