Only The Strong Survive

Auberon
Auberon laid down and stared at the ceiling. He felt tired, but more physically than mentally. His mind was racing, and he knew exactly why. He traced the mark on his neck slowly, his mind slipping into different pieces of memories.

Outlaw 
She stared at the ceiling, some of her old feelings coming back. Her hand instinctively crept to her pistol, and she held her hand on it. 

Auberon
"You know," Auberon thought out loud, "I wonder what I would've turned out to be if I never got caught up in stuff... no anger issues, no traumatic fears..." would I have more friends, or less? 

Outlaw 
“Dunno. But then you’d not have met me. And I’d be dead” she replied. 

Auberon
Auberon nodded slowly. Well she is one of the best tnhings that ever happened to me... he thought. But part of him couldn't help asking if all of that was worth it for one person. He shoved that thought away- of course it was.

Outlaw 
“Kay, yah, that stuff you gave me seriously isn’t working.” She said, sitting up. 

Auberon
"Probably grabbed the wrong packet then," Auberon mumbled, in a more annoyed tone than anything.

Outlaw 
“Not your fault” she replied, standing up and grabbing her rifle. She took a chain of bullets and sling it around her waist, put the rifle strap around her shoulder, and went outside over to the ladder. 

Auberon
"Where are you going?" Auberon asked, sitting up and glaring at her.

“I’m bored, so I’m gonna go wage war on the zombies” she said matter of factly. 

Auberon
"I'm going with then," Auberon said, getting up. "For my own sake." 

Alex
"Nah, I already ate." He grinned, tucking his gun into his back pocket and grabbing for his bag, groaning when he came up empty without whatever he was searching for. "Dammit. Remind me to get a new knife when we next stop."

Jade
She tucked the apples away. "Sure thing. Now let's get moving, or we won't have a next stop." She shrugged her bag on and set off away from the house. "Woods or road?" she inquired, standing in the grass between the two options. The road could take them to more houses, but the woods could offer more safety - maybe - and if they were lucky a small cabin.

Charity
Charity had been sitting on this stone for a while, her hazel eyes scraping the area efficiently. There was a slight breeze in the air, causing her hair to whip around her face and block her eyesight every now and then. Much to her dismay, she hadn't met anyone (appart from zombies) ever since this whole appocalyls started. She had no weapons- what she did have ran out of amo and she used it to throw at a zombie when it was done. For the mjority of time she had been running and hiding miserably from zombies, but still no sight of humans.
