Only The Strong Survive

Outlaw 
“You need to sleep” she ordered Auberon, loading all four of her pistols and her rifle. She made sure the ammo chains where attached, stuffed more ammo into her pockets, and untied the ladder. 

Auberon
"Why, so that I can be tortured by flashbacks I can't even remember?" Auberon grumbled. "I'll admit I haven't taken any medication today... or yesterday- or actually the entire week... I'm a little obnoxious right now."

Outlaw 
“And why have you not taken pills?” She replied. 

Auberon
"They ran out," Auberon said with a shrug. Actually that's a lie I just didn't want to...

Outlaw 
“Get better at lying before you try it on me” she said dryly, waiting. 

Auberon
"Okay I didn't want to," Auberon said. "You know how frustrating it is taking pills every other day all because of a different drug? It's just a little annoying. Just a little."

Outlaw 
“Yah I can see that. But it helps.” She replied. 

Auberon 
Auberon huffed. "If it doesn't kill my liver first," he complained. 

Outlaw 
“Whatever, I got zombies to kill and ammo to blow. You can come I spose if you need to” she said, lowering the ladder. “But this discussion isn’t over. It’s simply on hold” she warned. 

Auberon
"Fine, fine, fine, I'll take my pills," Auberon said, rolling his eyes. He grabbed his backpack and waited for Outlaw to go down, looking through one of its pockets.

Outlaw 
She neatly clambered down the ladder and waited for Auberon at the bottom.

Auberon climbed down the ladder, getting off at the bottom and looking through his backpack again. "Coincidence- I can't find them," he mumbled with a shrug. 

Outlaw 
She just raised an eyebrow, staring dryly at him. 

Auberon
"What?" he said, giving her an astonished look. "I ain't lying- look through it yourself if ya want."

Outlaw 
She took his backpack and looked through it, soon producing his pills.
