So, who is doing what?

What is everyone up to these days? What are your goals on EV? Which breeds/disciplines are you working on? Are you aiming for certain colors or trying to avoid other ones?

Just curious and it would be nice to get a conversation going. :)

I've mostly been narrowing down my stock and raising foundation Welshes :)
-And working on the Community Chincoteague project as well.
As far as goals go, I just want to get a line of nice statted/colored horses going. I don't worry too much about conformation at this point.

I honestly don't know anymore.
Gypsies in Driving for stats and color

Arabians in racing just testing the waters in this area

Shetlands are slightly on hold right now, but for driving stats and color

I'm doing a chincoteague project (not the community one) so just starting with foundations from the EC and working my  way up

Quarter Horses in western color + stats

Andalusians in dressage color discipline + stats

So 6 breeds, trying to cut it down to 4-5, but currently cutting down my enormous character hoard so that'll be for later. My main disciplines are Driving & Dressage.

I am so confused as what I'm doing as far as horses right now so eh xD

Just in case anyone wanted to know this is what I have going.

Dressage - Dutch Warmbloods, Lippizaner, Morgans, Thoroughbreds
Driving - Dutch Warmbloods, Miniatures
Endurance - Akhal Teke, Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds
Racing - Akhal Teke, Arabian, Appaloosa, Paints, Quarter Horse, Thoroughbreds
Show Jumping - Dutch Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, Chincoteagues
Western - Gypsy Vanners, Quarter Horses

I work on getting all of my horses to have 60 or less Non specialty stats. I want to get all poors out of conformation by generation 3 for all horses. Nice colors don't hurt either. My racing arabians are all black!

Currently working on jumping appies, driving Morgan's, endurance walkers, and dressage tbs. No real goals though I really want to breed the grey out of my tbs eventually. That'll take a while though since all but a couple are Gg or GG and I'm on my second gen now.

Oohhhh and All Black Racing line xD too bad yours are Arabs, Mine are TBs and the Arabs are Endurance xD

How do you keep it straight with having single breeds in three different disciplines? That seems crazy and cool to me! I mean I technically have Shetlands in every discipline, but it's easy to keep them apart since the 5 other disciplines are on my spare and in the 3 by 3 method without me randomly buying to add to the line.

I've been just adding to my lines a bit too much lately and I really need to breed down and stop buying. There's been so many great horses for sale lately though! It's just to much fun to buy!
I'm mostly a stat breeder. but I've got fun colors on the side with all black TBS(except that one chestnut -eyes-) and Quarters and Paints with the Dun gene! And everyone's got fun naming schemes too, those are my favorite part and probably why I have so many different lines.

And just to shamelessly promote some Chincoteagues in Western, Mine totally would love more company! Don't just do Show Jumping, be rebels! Or you know don't and pass me all those wonderfully statted for Western Foundations instead xD My darling pair of two come from the long lines of formerly Brumbies that I love to death. I thought Western was a good discipline for Chincos, but apparently I was sorely mistaken, can't win them all! (the best luck was the Racing formerly Pasos turned Tekes, they made a great addition to the gene pool for Tekes!)

I've been working on my Paints (focused on color, confo, and low non-specialty stats) and i recently started GV's which I'll be focused on color, confo, and low non specialty stats as well. :D My Paints are bred for western and my GV's are bred for driving :3

I am considering a project on my second acct beacause nevermind those cheeky Chinco's in either Western (like mine Sabriel's fault entirely!) or Jumping: why does NO ONE raise Clydesdales anymore??!! I Feel like Im out on my own with them :(

Anyhoo on this my main acct my goals (aside from the universal ones of stats & showing) are:

Dutch WBs - Driving (alone also!) / Show Jumping / Tobiano & Roan coats
Trakes - Show Jumping / Dressage / Perlinos & Cremello coats
Chinco's - Western / fun colours when I get that far! Im onto my foundation generation only so.....
Friesians - Driving (also an unpopular disc) / Solid Blacks with no star markings (IDK why??) & Chestnuts

i have some of everything, honestly.
the three herds that i have unlocked the most often and therefore work on the most often (and love the most!) are:

Endurance Mustangs: Multi-gen purchased from others players, with occasional foundations added in.

Dressage Arabians: focus on conformation, getting rid of bay, and adding flaxen, rabicano, and sabino

Dressage Thoroughbreds: focus on white patterns (white, sabino, splash, overo, and rabicano)

I added Dressage TBs in preparation for the (potential and far far far away) addition of cross-breeding to EV. I wanted to get a head start, and in the meantime I'm loving the color variety that my arabians lack :P

Gypsy Vanners: Driving, low non-specialty stats, conformation, and color. Two or three of them stem directly from the two Gypsy's a friend gave me back in 2009 for safe-keeping and I've loved them even before the new colors were added!

Arabians: Racing, Show Jumping, Dressage. Low non-specialty stats, separated by color (i.e. genes), and conformation.

Mustangs: Endurance, low non-specialty stats, conformation, and color. Some go back to the original 2 pairs I started out with in 2009. :)

@ Fablehaft - Clydesdales: Driving, low non-specialty stats, conformation, and color (separated by colors: to breed out Bay and keep a separate Chestnut and Black line).

Miniature Horses: Driving, low non-specialty stats, conformation, and color.

Morgans: Driving, Show Jumping, and Western. Low non-specialty stats, conformation, and color.

Thoroughbreds: Dressage, Show Jumping, and Racing. Low non-specialty stats, conformation, and color.

Chincoteague Ponies: Part of the Community Project, just started. :)
But, Show Jumping, low non-specialty stats, and color. :)

P.S. - How on earth did I forget my precious Friesians?!
Friesians: Dressage, low non-specialty stats, conformation, and color. Breeding excellent Black (EE) and (Ee) as well as Chestnuts! Separated by color and paired to give the best conformation score possible.

@Sabriel - all of my horses are separated by discipline/breed in their own divisions. For example all of my dressage divisions start with 01| and then the breed. Also any foals I have I always put either D, Dv, E, R, S, or W in front so I make sure I treat them correctly and that at 3 they get the correct training!  Oh I am also working on getting my tb racers to all black, smokey black, and smokey creams :)

@Fabelhaft - I didn't realize you were doing driving DWBs as well as jumping and dressage! I may need some breedings in the future but right now my driving dutchies are all very young still!

Everyone else who breeds the same as me, yay! If you all are public breeders feel free to add me on friend request as I will eventually offer public breedings, foal sales from my horses and also will be looking for the same!

Side note - I am trying to also start up some endurance chincos and western ones as well!
