Trust Me RP

Parker
Faint shouts from outside caught his attention. He snagged the door key from Trent, who handed it over quickly, and rushed out the door. "Outlaw! Please don't leave yet. Go see Trent, let him help you, and then you can leave. Where's Auberon?"

Cora
Cora huffed and looked at Parker. "He's gone."

Parker
"Why in the world did you let him go? He could get himself hurt. Outlaw, of you don't let Trent treat you I will hunt you down. And Cora, don't you dare run off, either. What direction did Auberon go?"

Outlaw 
“He went thataway” she muttered, gesturing in the direction he’d gone. She thought for a moment, keys dangling from her finger. 

Cora
Cora shook her head. She wasnt going to run off, she had no reason to. Part of her wanted Auberon to have his freedom, the other part said that freedom was gonna get him killed. She gestured in the same direction Outlaw had.

Parker
He nodded and hurried in that direction. How had they gotten to Trent while he had been drugged? He hoped they hadn't fought like this the entire time. "Auberon?" Parker called, trying not to be too loud. "I just want to talk."

Auberon
Auberon heard Parker and stopped, although he didn't want to. He stood still, breathing hard.

Parker
He wasn't sure if the noise up ahead was Auberon or not. The trees kept him from seeing too clearly. "Auberon?" 

Auberon
Auberon backed away from the noise slightly, looking in the direction Parker's voice came from. "What?" He called, more fearfully than he had intended.

Parker
"I just want to talk to you. And then you can decide what to do after that."

Auberon
Auberon hesitated- he didn't want to get into another fight and he definitely didn't want to get forced to do something again. "Okay..."

Parker
He found the location and walked that direction, stumbling upon Auberon. "Here, why don't we sit down on this log." Parker gestured to the log and sat down, waiting for Auberon. Once he had, Parker opened. "Why are you running?"

Auberon
Auberon raised his eyebrows in a are you gonna actually listen? sort of way. Even if he could explain, it wouldn't make much sense. Half of him didn't even really know why he was running- he just wanted to run.

Parker
"We can help you. Make sure you don't get hurt and make sure the police don't take you. It's safer with us than out there."

Auberon
"I don't know if it is or isn't," Auberon mumbled, his gaze drifting to the ground. "But I don't like it there."
