Locked in Love Rp

THUNDER
 Hearing one of his mares being called, he announced "I will claim her, unless you want to fight."  He personally hoped no one would fight, but he was ready just in case.

 CHEESE CAKE
She glanced at the lucky mare who got bidded by Thunder. She looked almost exactly like Thunder.

Haunt
He moved over to Cheveyo’s stall and beckoned out the blue roan mare. He then waited to see if anyone else would try to claim her as well. 

Cheveyo 
She stepped calmly into the circle and stood patiently, waiting. 

Celaena
Celaena huffed with equal parts resentment and a stubborn apology, settling a little closer to Kin. "......Sorry. I'm being ungrateful." She murmured - he HAD just fought the alpha stallion for her.

Serval
 The stallion felt numb, not bothering to meet Zapata's gaze as she reentered her stall. He had nothing against her - she was friendly enough, and pretty... Right? She's pretty, right? I don't even know. I DON'T KNOW. He shook his head, stepping back into the shadows of the sidelines. That doesn't matter. She's fine. You're fine. Everything's fine. No, it's not. She's mine. I don't want that. I never wanted that.

Raevyn 
Oh no. Raevyn's stall was right next to Cheveyo's. If the alpha was going down the rows systematically- "please no," Raevyn muttered.

Kin
He exhaled roughly, simultaneously a sigh and a huff. "Apology accepted." Kin lowered his head and nipped at some of the grass.

Terei
Terei stamped her hooves, impatient. If only she knew when it would be her turn! She heard mares coming and going, stallions claiming them, but she didn't really see them; when she tried to look her eyes just went right past the crowd of stallions and outside, wondering if she'd go free this year.

Deure
Deure pushed through the crowd to get a closer look at the mares. The one up right now was blue roan, she was awfully pretty and didn't look angry or desperate to go free, like most of the others. Had anyone claimed her yet? He looked around and saw Thunder looking for anyone who dared to challenge him. Oh, no. He wasn't exactly tall or intimidating, and he didn't know if he could fight him. He almost called out that he'd do it, but truth was, he doubted he could win against anyone. Better just wait.

Janus
"Hey," He murmured to the colt who he could feel starting to panic next to him, weaving his body between the him and the other stallions and herding him back a little, so he would feel he had room to breathe. "It's alright. I'm guessing this is your first time?"

Celaena
The mare snickered at Kin's huff - she supposed she should probably tell him why she would rather not have a foal, but that could wait until later.

Serval
 "Yeah, you can blame it on that," he murmured crossly in response, taking a few deep breaths before looking up at the much taller horse. He had an interestingly unique facial marking. That being said, Serv wasn't the most bland horse on the block, either.

Janus
Janus chuckled, vaguely impressed with such a big attitude coming from such a little horse. "I take it you're not really one for bidding on mares like they're property, then." His words were laced with a rough sarcasm - some of the stallions around here didn't see any problem with 'owning' mares.

Outlaw 
She gave a quiet, annoyed snort as the auction dragged on. She just wanted it to be over already. She fixed her eyes on door, looking longingly at the wild. She lashed her tail in frustration again. 

Haunt
He watched as Thunder bid on the pretty blue roan, waiting to see if anyone else. 

Serval
 "Yeah, you can blame it on that, too," he repeated dryly, swishing his tail halfheartedly. His voice, though blunt, carried another emotion on top of that. Dissatisfaction? Confusion? Shame? Serval himself wasn't quite sure. If I hardly understand, there's no way he will.

Janus
Janus hummed noncomittally, turning his head back to watch the bidding with such excitement, omg, asking without looking. "Plan to bid on anyone else?"

Serval
 "What do you think?" Serval retorted, following the bay's gaze. Before his better judgement could come into play, he spoke again.
 "I don't get it. What- Why are they all so entranced by-," he cut himself off, regretting saying anything. -mares?

"-By the mares?" Janus finished, less impatient and more amused. (Really, it wasn't funny, but Janus couldn't help laugh at the childlike fascination.) "I've no idea, honestly."
