"It's you that's bleeding, Kin." Celaena pawed at the water, splashing him on what could have easily been passed off as an accident. "I can worry about my coat later." She glanced up, fake innocence playing across her face.

Super Nova
Nova let out a pleased whinny at Saju's announcement. She met his brown eyes with sparkling gray ones. He had claimed her! Nova was excited now for the end of the bidding, the anticipation and worry leaving her stomach in a rush of breath. She was lead mare! Her plan had worked out, despite the small blip along the way. Nova had no words, so she simply smiled at the palomino. 

Kin
He turned his eyes from the water to Celaena. "I may be bleeding, but your coat won't take long to clean. May as well do it before it hardens." Kin blinked as blood from his ear ran into his eye and lowered his head into the water, clearing it away. He pulled his dripping features from the stream. "And Celaena - I'm already wet." Kin chuckled, flicking water toward the champagne mare with his tail.

Sirocco 
The fight he had just witnessed did not help the impression that this event was giving Rocky. This is... absolutely horrible!

Celaena scoffed. "Come on, little extra water never did any har-" She cut herself off with a squeal as the cold water hit her back unexpectedly. "Hey!"

Kin
Kin laughed, sliding his hooves under him until he was laying down in the water. It flowed past him, turning pink and red, as it swept the blood from his sides. It wasn't quite deep enough to get onto his back. Where it touched a wound it stung, yet cooled inflammation and numbed the pain.

Celaena
Celaena joined him, eagerly rolling onto her side to submerge the stain in the icy river. She glanced back to where she knew the barn was, mood dampening a little. Mares would still be anxiously locked in little stalls, only to be brought out for bidding purposes like property. "Why did you bid on me?" She asked over the sound of the water, standing up only to shake like a dog, little droplets flying as she studied her coat - there was a little stain, but it would come out with another wash or two. "I'd like to think it wasn't just for my colour."

Kin
Kin shifted from his position in the water. He had rolled onto his back moments before to clean the wounds there, though the position wasn't the most comfortable. He stood, but didn't shake, for if he did blood would fly with water. Kin looked to Celaena. "Your coat is a stunning shade," Kin replied slowly, appreciating the way it looked outdoors, even wet as it was. "But that wasn't the only factor. Your confidence and spirit, your humor, the way you carried yourself when called out." Kin glanced up the hill toward the barn, making sure Saju wasn't heading their way. He wasn't. 

Celaena
Celaena laughed, albeit a little more bitter this time. "If we're not strong, we're easy. If we're not delicate, we're rude." She shook her head, dipping her muzzle into the water to take a drink. "Stallions."

Outlaw 
She watched as Saju claimed Nova for lead mare. Good, meant she didn’t have to be stuck with him. She weighed her options for when it was her turn. Should she go easily, which would go against every single principle she had taught herself, or put up a fight and be punished? She truly didn’t care if she got punished, but didn’t know if being spirited would make stallions bid on her or being quiet would, and she wanted to do whatever would make them not want her. She let out a quiet, frustrated snort, and lashed her long tail as she debated. 

THUNDER

He came back just as the Alpha came into the barn. He was relieved that no one else challenged the Alpha. The bidding is underway again, and he had two mares in mind.

CHEESE CAKE

Now the gruesome fight was over, the Alpha recovered and they were back to bidding. When would she go? And who wanted her? 

Kin
He hadn't heard her comment, having rolled through the water again. The water that touched him was tinted red before it flowed out of sight. Kin stood and shook himself out like a dog. Most of the blood had been washed away except for the few wounds that still bled - his ear, for example, and a bite on his shoulder. He was bruised badly, and there were other wounds, but the water had stopped the blood flow. For now, at least.

Umi
Umi glanced over as the bidding started again. He needed to head over there so he could keep an eye on the mares that stepped up. Looking for the right one to bid on. Umi bade Terei good-bye and reentered the group of stallions.

Celaena 
Celaena had settled onto the grass nearby the river's edge, watching Kin with mild disinterest as her ears pricked up, listening carefully for the sounds of the other horses. "I wish I could have helped them." She mumbled, half to herself 

Terei
She watched as the bidding started up again, and her eyes followed Umi all the way back to the crowd of stallions. She sighed. It was nice to know at least one of the stallions wasn't as evil and inhumane as the older mares claimed. Her gaze darted to the mare that had just been claimed; a dapple grey apparently named Super Nova who, for one, was looking pleased to be claimed by someone like Saju. She shuddered at the thought of the fight, neither stallion appeared anything like Umi or Deure. She felt a rush of worried anticipation, she was impatient to get her auction over with, although she was dreading being auctioned off as if she were someone's property. At least then I can go somewhat free until next year, she decided. Even though I'll still belong to a stallion. What would happen if no one bid on her? Would she have to stay in this barn? Or would she be allowed to go free until next year?

Deure
The grullo stallion shifted impatiently, lifting his hooves one after the other as he waited for something to happen. It still wasn't clear to him who was going next. Part of him wanted to leave and see if anyone spotted him; it would at least make some commotion if the Alpha saw. Then he considered how outraged the Alpha had seemed after losing the fight, Deure doubted Saju would be very amused if anything happened. He flicked his tail, only half meaning to bring up a cloud of dust in the face of the stallion behind him, then resolved to wait.

Saju|| Alpha

The palomino colored Alpha snorted with a smirk this time getting what he wanted. “Haunting next is Sakura can you please get her out of her stall?” Asking with a twinge of niceness thst he let show to the horses he trusted the most. Moving and stepping back looking at Nova as she was was put into her stall again. Standing close to her stall “You’ll be a perfect lead mare better than Celaene.” Rolling his brown eyes at the name he turned his attention back to the bidding with a smile.

Bazku|| Stallion

Looking to Odissi his mare and smiling he looked back to the crowd keeping a list of the mares he was trying to go for Mackerel was on his list as the next one he showed interest in. Even though she was older than him she was still pretty enough and young enough to carry a foal by him. Watching Mackeral with his brown eyes the chestnut tobiano paint shook his head and watched the bidding the next horse was Sakura.

Sakura || Mare

The pure black mare pinned her ears as Saju said her name next. Gulping and pinning her ears Sakura moved to the back of the stall blinking her brown eyes in fright looking to Umi and the rest of the stallions waiting for Haunting to lead her out. Hooves planted in the ground firmly like tree roots in the ground Sakura shook under her black fur hoping and praying that no stallions would fight over her but with her luck one would. Taking a moment to regain composure Sakura loved to the front of the stall shaking but putting on a brave face.

Terei
Terei watched as Sakura went up, she cold see how afraid she looked. She couldn't exactly say she was any braver, though. For the millionth time that day, she wondered who- if anyone - would claim her.

Deure
Deure watched Sakura carefully as her name was called. She looked uncomfortable, to say the least. He considered claiming her, but decided to wait, see if anyone else expressed interest in her. After seeing the big fight between Kin and Saju, he was hesitant to challenge anyone.
