Katie just laughed in response - neither Outlaw or herself had changed one bit since they'd last met. She checked Cinch over, ending up just prising off two of his shoes, seeing as they needed replacing anyways, and were about to fall off. He was tired and sore, but no lasting injuries, and although Katie didn't want to settle in one place too long, the rest would be good for both Cinch and herself, and they would be ready to run by tomorrow. She gave him a big pat for his work today, and stepped out of his stall, moving to Khal's, which was (unfortunately for her) a couple stalls over. "Hey, stranger." Alice looked up when Outlaw walked in. "Oh my gosh, Outlaw? Is that really you?" she laughed, shocked. "Do you remember me from that job we did together? I saw Phantom but I didn't realize until now."

She slyly slid a finger to her lips and gave a wink. "whist, you want everyone to know I'm back in these parts?" She said, but she knew full well they already knew she was in these parts. When your a successful outlaw they know you wherever you go. She turned back to the hotel owner. "3 rooms. side by side" she said. He nodded and handed her 3 keys. "keep one, give it Katie when she comes in" she said, handing him the money. She nodded turned back to Alice. "gonna set up my room and head down to the saloon for a card game, catch up with ya later?" she said, handing Chester one of the keys.

Hannah

Hannah sighed as she went out the inn and back outside. Again, Fire was gone. She set off to try and find him. This time, she wasn't happy, or playful. Something was wrong, and she could sense it. She started walking, dodging everyone who tried to speak to her. As if it were a ghost, there was a sound, a ghostly sound of a neigh in her ears. She shook her head, but it wouldn't stop. Hannah clutched the pistol she was holding so tight, that she nearly pulled the trigger as she ducked behind a barrel, again, dodging everyone.

"Barely." Katie glanced up, then dropped her gaze as the colt nibbled at her hair, reminding her that she should probably ask Red if any of the other horses needed haynets. "I knew his rider, though."

Katie shook her head, with a little sad smile darting across her face. "It's alright." She murmured, combing through the horses forelock. He deserves to know. A little voice whispered, and Katie grudgingly agreed. "His name was Leandro, but we all called him Lance." She paused. "Lance was an acronym, you see. His family had wanted to keep plenty of names, and all of those names arranged in a certain order spelled out Lance. He was..." She pursed her lips, trying to think of the right word. "Eccentric. Caring. Protective. A team player. Someone who filled the room." She came to a grinding halt there - that was probably all she'd let herself say, especially to a complete stranger. "Is your last name really Abraham?" She asked suddenly, mid thought.

"'Course not." Katie scoffed, running a hand through her hair in a futile effort to keep it out of her face. She was about to ask him something else, but she decided against it, turning to call over her shoulder. "Hey, Red? Do any of these horses need haynets?" After he called back that yes, the couple on the end needed them, and she remembered that she still needed to untack Khal, she gave the colt one last pat on his velvety nose, moving to the stall beside him as Khal himself stomped, snorting and demanding attention. "Coming, coming." She laughed, opening the stall foor and slipping inside.

"So, what brings you to Taane?" Katie asked, pulling Khal's saddle off, and setting it gently on the ground as she worked on getting his bridle off.
