"If you would." Katie nodded, checking over both Cinch and herself. She seemed to be fine, her hands were still raw and bleeding, and a bullet had nicked her side, but she seemed to be fine. Cinch was fine as well, and as one of the pursuers horses shot past her, Katie urged Cinch on the chase him. Katie leant forwards, snatching for his reins, grinning in delight as she grabbed them and pulled both horses to a stop. Khal, the barely four year old, tall dark bay Lexi had been riding was a great horse, and Katie could do with another. She walked Cinch back on a long rein, holding Khal's reins as well.

Ranger had been watching this whole thing and smiled. He almost went after one of the horses, but thought better of it.

Hannah

Hannah sighed. She was always getting into trouble, but she couldn't help it. She could hear gunshots, but she thought nothing of it. She just sat and watched everyone go by, hoping Fire hadn't broken loose yet. She winced as the memories of her being accused of killing people flooded back. Well, at least nobody would find her here.

Katie nodded her thanks, dismounting when she was closer to the others and tying Khal's reins to Cinch's saddle. "The name's Katie." She grinned, as she passed Chester, realizing that she'd never given him her name, although she kept walking towards where the horses would be stabled.

Katie barely looked up when she heard someone else enter the stables - of course it was busy, Red had business to upkeep. She forced herself to keep her head down, busying herself with Cinch (and now, Khal's) temporary hay nets, but she couldn't help but think about Chester. You really, REALLY don't need someone else to worry about - not now. The rational part of her brain sighed. She ducked her head, refusing to let a flush colour her face and finished the knot, tying it to the wall. Cinch snuffled at her shoulder, leaning over her to nibble at his hay, and Katie laughed, running her fingers (or, attempting to) through his coarse mane. "We'll have to trim this, soon." She murmured wistfully, but she already knew that she wouldn't - his mane and tail were just too pretty to pull or hog,

Katie barely even glanced up, Cinch's bridle already slung over her shoulder, as she untied the cinch, unbuckling it. "Not yet. I've still got Khal to untack, and both horses need a check over." She threw the cinch over the saddle and pulled it off, shifting her hand under the gullet so she wouldn't drop the saddle. "Can you find me some strong alcohol, though? I have wound to clean, and a strong drink never hurt anyone." She smirked over at Outlaw - the other girl knew how it was.
