She unlocked the door and flung it open. "Chess, your room is there just so ya know." she said, pointing at the room on the right side of Katie's. "i'm there if you perchance need somethin" she added, noddin at the room on the left of Katie's. She entered Katie's room and pulled a small packet of needles from her shirt pocket, and a spool of black thread. "sit dere, Kate" she said, nodding at a chair while threading the needle.

Alice

Alice nodded and tried to keep busy. She laughed as she watched Chess and Katie leave. She wished she could get close to someone again, but after Rowan, never. Her best friend died while she was gone. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she put away her deck of cards.

Katie
Katie flopped down into the chair, yelping when she wrenched her bad side, and unbuttoning her shirt, uncaring for decency at this point in time - she just wanted that bullet out of her, and she wanted it out NOW.

Chester

Katie grinned at Chester's flushed face, but bit her lip - hard - when Outlaw poured the alcohol on, trying not to squirm around so Outlaw had a decent chance of getting the bullet out as a sharp, metallic tang filled her mouth.

She slid the bullet out neatly.

Katie
Katie laughed breathlessly, and said through gritted teeth. "Shoulda had another drink, huh?"

Ranger

Ranger had watched the three leave. He slowly walked down the hall and knocked on the door to the room. "I have some medicine for her wound, if you want." He worried about girls who reminded him of his sister.

Outlaw
She went to the door, and stepped through, closing it swiftly behind her.

Ranger

"Ranger Smith, I know Alice. Here." He handed her the medicine. "If you need anything else, tell me."

Outlaw
She nodded curtly. She had known the boy

Alice

Alice checked the clock again and smiled when it was time. She got up and walked to Outlaw's room. Knocking twice, she waited for Outlaw.

Outlaw
She moved to the door, checking through the lock hole who it was before she opened it.
