Alice

"Thank you," she looked nervous. "You wanted to know about Sunshine?" She reached into her pocket and pulled out a letter. Handing it to Outlaw, she sighed "Sunshine Davis is a special girl, I needed her to come with me. This is the letter I sent to her."

She motioned for Alice to sit on one of the couches. She sat down a chair and read the letter carefully.

Alice

The letter said how Alice had found a safe place for Sunshine and that she should come to stay away from the sheriff. Alice then pulled out another letter and gave it to Outlaw. Alice shifted uneasily, "This one is to Ranger, I needed him to come also, as his sister was my best friend."

She nodded slightly, turning up the oil lamp so she could read better. She had all the curtains drawn for security purposes.

Alice

"I think Rowan's killer is here. And I dont know if he is coming for me next." She started to pick at her locket, out of habit.

Outlaw

Alice

"I dont know his real name. I just know he went by Howard Johnson when Rowan knew him." She thought back to the man Rowan was so sure was a good friend.

Her head shot up.

Alice

"Yes why? Do you know him?" She sat forward on the seat

Alice laughed, despite the sadness she was feeling. "Have you seen him lately?"

Alice

"Probably." She watched Outlaw. "Could I tell you something? Alice is not my real first name, its actually Raven. But Rowan, well she was born Dove, and I decided to change to our middle names to be safe."

She grinned looking at Alice.
