She sat in the saloon, smoke swirling about her. She glanced at the man across the table from her. He had never lost a card game, but he'd never played her. She watched as he triumphantly put down his play. "gotcha, kid" he sneered. She smiled coldly, and calmly slid her play on the table. The bar went silent, and his eyes bugged out. His veins grew and grew in his anger, and she kept her hands on the table but tensed them, waiting. Sure enough, he whipped his gun, but her draw was quicker, and her shot blew up his gun right in his hand. The bar quiet. She calmly stood up, keeping her pistol in hand. She tossed the bartender a coin. "give him a drink on me, tender" she said, just as calmly and backed out of the saloom, keeping her eyes on all. once she exited the doors she spun and bolted for her mare, vaulting neatly onto the horse from the rear. It took off as soon as she hit the saddle. She heard shouts, and knew they'd have to giv'er out to the next safe spot. The mare flew along the back roads out of town.

Katie
"Go, Go, Go!" Katie yelled, laughing as the four horses and their riders lept into a gallop out of the town, the two newbies and thier quarter horses struggling to keep pace with Cinch, who wasn't waiting for anyone. The horses were churning up dust, and Katie was glad her bandana was already tugged up above her nose, so she could semi breathe. The horses, in mention were already going breakneck speeds, but Cinch still leant on Katie's hands, tugging for his head to go faster. She gave in as they pulled away from the little pack, the others shouting because, well, Katie had all of the money that they had all risked their lives for. "Thanks for your help!" Katie laughed, urging Cinch on faster now that they were being chased down by the others. The stallion tossed his head and snorted, in an "I can do this, shut up." Kind of manner, deepening his stride. Katie knew where they were going next - back to Taane, the little town where she could send a messenger to her siblings.

Cinch only slowed when he recognised the little town, slowing to a shaky canter - he was absolutely exhausted from his gallop, and although he had great stamina and speed, no horse can run forever. "We should probably find somewhere for you to get a drink, huh bud?" Katie murmured, her hands raw and bleeding from having to hold him back, so she just looped the reins loosely over the saddle horn, so Cinch couldn't accidentally toss them over his head, but so that Katie didn't have to hold them. She glanced at her hands and cursed, because dammit, she'd need to wrap each hand, or find gloves. Cinch eventually slowed to a peppy trot as he entered the town - he remembered here! When Katie would tie him up outside, some of the kid who knew him would sneak him treats and brush him; a luxury Katie barely had time for anymore, seeing as they'd been photographed (again) committing a dangerous theft (again), and were currently on the run from both the authorities, and a group of people that they'd backstabbed.(again)

Outlaw
She hit the outskirts of town at a gallop, and swiftly pulled the mare to a sliding stop. She took in the town again. It had been a while. She let the mare slow trot into town, and hopped off at the stables. She knew the manager well. She led the horse in, and was greeted enthusiastically by the manager, Red.

Rosanna

Sunshine

Sunshine urged Wildflower into a fast gallop. She leaned forward and smiled as the mare strengthened her strides. Sunshine had already gotten a room at the Inn, so she figured she could let Wildflower have some exercise. She had been told to come here by her partner in crime, Alice. Sunshine pulled the reins and the mare sighed. Sunshine slid off and walked the mare into the stables. She turned toward the girl already there (Outlaw) and smirked, "Hello there, what brings you to this small town?"

Alice

Alice was in her room at the Inn, which she was sharing with Sunshine. Alice opened her pack and pulled out her clothes. She has already taken Crow to the stables, and had gone to the general store and talked to the people working there seeing what the town news was.

Ranger

Ranger walked over the new girl (Katie), and leaned on the fence. "Hello Darling, what are you doing here in this town?" he smiled and laughed.

Katie
Katie raised an eyebrow, and tugged her bandana down to her neck, looking down from her seat on Cinch, debating on whether or not this guy was serious. "Call me darling again, and I'll blow your legs off." She smirked back, sawn off shotgun already in her less damaged hand, hanging at her side. She was glad she had spent that week teaching Cinch to let her shoot off of him, and now she could wield most weapons with one hand, be it a gun, or a knife, or something else, and Cinch couldn't give a toss.

Ranger

He smiled wider and raised his hands in surrender. "Alright, no need to be threatening. Your horse is gorgeous, and judging from the way he stands, you are here for more than just a vacation." He whistled to Walker, who trotted up. Ranger mounted and looked across the plains waiting for an answer.

Katie
"This is his home, as far as he's concerned." Katie said simply, watching a few smaller children run past laughing, flashing a quick smile to the little brown haired boy in the front; a boy who she recognized from a few trips back - he had insisted on helping groom Cinch, and Katie had no objections. Katie would ignore the compliments for now, praying that any one of her messengers would turn up right now and save her.

Ranger

"Walker has been here before, so he thinks he knows what hes doing." Ranger said. "I was hoping there would be a horse sale here so I could get a better mount."

Katie
"They have them on occasions, but you just missed the most recent one. There won't be one for at least another six months." Katie muttered absently, watching a tall, ginger haired girl round the corner of a tavern and nod at Katie - aha, there was the messenger. She would find her later - there were only so many backroads in this town.

Ranger

"That seems to be my life, running from one town to another, just a little bit too late." He turned and looked at the ginger haired girl. "You have somewhere you need to be. Go ahead"
