If Kahlen wasn't in a horrible mood, she would have laughed. "Right. Just wait a few hours. Maybe not even that long. We'll see."

Nikkol
"And what am I waiting for?" Nikkol sighed. "I apologize but - where I come from, women could be stoned for dressing like men. Is that not a thing here?"

Kahlen 
Kahlen shrugged. At Nikkol's last statement, she outright laughed. "I wouldn't be caught dead and in the Fields of Punishment wearing a dress. No. That is most definitely not a thing, and if it were... you know what, I'm not going to describe my hypothetical actions."

"Dress?" Nikkol shook her head, confused by the use of a verb as a noun. "Everyone here talks strangely." 

Kahlen 
"I could start ranting in French, but that would make it no less confusing." Kahlen sighed. "Where's Mr. Medical when you need him? Anyone have a watch?"

Nikkol
Nikkol gave her head one final, confused shake and then stepped into the shadows of one of the cabins, sinking into a sitting position in the grass. Her hand groped along the ground until she found a stone, and she turned it in her fingers. She was about to sharpen her spear but realized people were probably asleep, so stopped herself.

"What time is it? I'm not so great with automatically knowing what time it is in the dark." Dark. Dark. Dark. Go away.

"1 AM. Unless that says 10. I shouldn't have gotten a digital watch what was I thinking?"

Kahlen 
"Close enough. It's been... fifteen minutes now?" Kahlen resisted the urge to glare expectantly at the sky, and therefore Olympus. 

Outlaw 
She boredly listened to others chatter, still keeping herself hidden with the shadows. 

Mason
 Interesting, he thought emotionlessly, quietly taking in the conversation.
 "Sixteen," he corrected, idly taking out his pocket watch. "Sixteen minutes have gone by. The time is...," he began, narrowing his eyes against the darkness in order to better see the (inaccurate) time. "...Four." I wonder if they'll think I'm telling the truth. Hah.

"Nice try." What if it is actually four? Zeus said in her head. Kahlen turned to glare up at the sky. "Shut up, okay?! I know you hate me, and you'd better get used to it. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, and no, it is not FOUR O'CLOCK!" No answer. 

Mason
 "Hey, be nice to my brother," he chided, taking a few steps toward Kahlen.
 "Zeus, right?"

Kahlen 
Kahlen was silent, partly due to her thought process at the moment. She didn't turn to look at Mason for a long time. Finally, she rounded on him. "Your brother.... IS ZEUS?!" Another short pause. "Well, you know, that explains a lot. Why in all of France should I be 'nice' to him?! He freaking tried to kill me just because I knew what was going on!!! Absolutely not."
