Alex
Alex went to turn and froze, still cradling Jade, and gave a horrible shudder, unable to move other than that. "Don't" he whispered, his grip on Jade tightening as he forced himself to move and give Jade the ambrosia she needed, gently stroking down her face with his thumb, cupping her cheek as he hunched over her as sort of a protective barrier, putting his body between hers and the one his sister was currently controlling. "Not this one."

Kahlen 
"Who are you...?" Kahlen growled. She took a step forward, her grip tightening on her sword.

Jade
The flavor of her mother's chicken dip flooded her mouth, and the pain faded slightly. Her vision swam, and she knew if she didn't focus on something, she would slip away. She tried not to focus on the pain in her gut, the camper behind Alex, or even the capture the flag game. She focused on the person who was hunched above her, zeroing in on his eyes and messy hair. "Mop head," she murmured. 


Meanwhile, the camper turned to face Kahlen. "You will find out in due time, Kahlen," it said with a chuckle. "And if I were you, I'd put down the sword before you kill this innocent little Aphrodite girl." The camper sneered at Alex. This will only end badly for you, the Voice spoke into his head. You have shamed your mother, and you will be my apprentice. I have seen your magic, and it is commendable. You can rule the world with us. But first you must let. her. go. Aloud, the camper said to all three (Kahlen, Denver, and Alex), "Jade is to choose between life or death. What is it to you if she dies?"

Kahlen 
"I don't think so," she growled. "Jade is not allowed to die."
Denver 
That pushed Denver over the edge. "Not on my watch," he growled, finally finding the bandages.

Alex
I remain loyal to my mother. Alex snarled. I stand with her, not you, sister. And this one is not yours. He glanced down when he realized Jade was talking, giving her a little smile. "Hey, love." When the camper had spoken Alex growled out. "What is it to you if she lives? Are you really so threatened by one girl?"

James
 As soon as the horn was blown, James bolted for the other team's flag. Years of running from the law (and probably monsters) had made him quick on his feet; he was used to traveling fast and light. He glanced back to make sure that Katie was following, surprised to see himself relying on the company of another person. Just as he reached the clearing with the flag, he watched as Kahlen swooped in and snatched it off of its pole. James skidded to a stop, not knowing what to do once the flag was gone. His only plan had been to grab it and run. Looks like I've failed as a Hermes kid, huh?

Ethel
 Ethel wasn't trying to win the game, honestly. Her only goal was to keep an eye on Alex and Jade. However, she'd somehow ended up losing track of them, and hadn't done much but knock out a daughter of Iris with the hilt of her dagger and punch an Ares kid in the face. She was lost in her thoughts (which mostly consisted of cursing herself repeatedly) when she heard screams and sounds of battle up ahead. She slowed down substantially, not wanting to get into another flag-based skirmish. Her blood seemed to get several degrees colder when it dawned on her that they were panic-stricken screams, some of which getting cut off before the person could finish. It was a serious fight. Ethel snatched her dagger out of its sheath and darted forward, colliding with someone who seemed to be running away from the brutal scene. The person appeared suspicious, so Ethel did the first thing that came to her mind: she stabbed blindly at the person. She only recognized her target, Eudora, once the deed was done. Ethel's right hand was stained red.

Katie
Katie slid to a stop, careful not to run into James. "Hey, uh, I don't know about you but I think we should r-" Katie cut herself off by grabbing James arm and yanking him out of the way of a spear. "Yeah, let's go."

Denver
Denver began working furiously, muttering medical instructions under his breath. "You are not dying on me, Jade."

Eudora
Eudora felt a shot of pain go throughout her body instantly. She squealed in pain and stepped backwards, grabbing her side. She looked at Ethel in way that said, What was that for? Eudora sat down on the ground and laid down trying to relieve her pain. She dared to look at her wound, and saw blood seep out of it slowly, but in large amounts. Her eyes rolled up into her head; it was obvious her body was saying "go to sleep, you need to rest." but Eudora didn't listen. She knew that would've been a bad idea. She stood up and walked slowly over to Ethel.

Jade
She looked at the camper, realizing they really couldn't attack, because it wasn't the girl's fault. It was whatever was inside her, controlling her. "I appreciate the concern," Jade managed to say in a normal volume, "but honestly I don't need you guys to tell me dying would be a bad idea right now." She tried for a grin but grimaced at a stab of pain. She locked eyes with the camper. "I choose to live, thank you very much. Can you leave me alone now?" 

The Voice 
At Kahlen's words, the Voice merely laughed and turned away from her, focusing on the broken form underneath Alex's huddled figure. Despite what you think, she is mine. Why do you think I could control her so easily before? And if you are truly loyal to your mother, you would abandon this foolish affection of yours. The camper sneered at Alex. "Why am I so threatened? Who said I'm threatened? I'm merely... throwing my trash away." The Voice laughed again and turned to Jade. "A living death is an interesting choice. And, to answer your question, no."

Eudora
"Just asking, what was that for?" she asked Ethel trying not to screech again. "It's not very nice ya know, stabbing someone like that. I barely even know you." Her eys went into her head again, and she stumbled backwards. She managed to force them down, and looked Ethel squarely in the eyes.

Ethel
 "Oh my gods..." she whispered, her voice hoarse. I just... stabbed someone. I stabbed someone. I stabbed someone. I STABBED SOMEONE.
 "I'm a murderer," Ethel choked out. She hadn't actually killed the girl, but she felt like she did. So much blood... blood that she had caused. Blood had never really bothered her, but the fact that she had caused it...

James
 "Sounds like a good idea to me!" James yelped, the spear barely missing his head. He hared after Katie, somehow managing to dodge low-hanging tree limbs and vines. Something felt off about the whole thing. He knew that the game was suppose to be played using weaponry, but the atmosphere seemed... sinister. He didn't know if that was normal or not, since it was his first time playing, but he couldn't help but feel on edge.

Eudora
"Oh don't mention it. It just hurts.... alot, and I may die. But you know what it's all good." she chocked slightly. "I'm just gonna call it instincts, and your good." Eudora said not sounding very convincing. She sat back down again. "You know we had a good talk."

Alex
"Okay, yeah, she's fine. That's our Jade." Alex rolled his eyes, grinning at her despite the situation. He ignored the voice - he knew where his loyalties lay, regardless of what the temper tantrum prone goddess claimed. He wriggled a little, just adjust his body slightly so that from the campers perspective, his body was infront of any vital points of her body in case of an attack.

Katie
Katie raced after James, and as they were traveling through the forest, she felt something off about the situation. "Stop!" She called out, dragging James to a stop just in time to see a wire strug between two trees, just at neck height. A guillotine, of sorts. The wire nearly invisible to someone running full sleep into it. "What are they doing?" She muttered, hacking at the wire with her knife so that no one else could run into it.... but she was sure there would be more.

Kahlen snarled in frustration. She hated feeling powerless.
Denver 
Denver turned back to his kit. "Where did they put the... AHA! Found it." He continued doing his best to help Jade.
