Greek Mythology Roleplay

Eudora
Eudora propped herself up onto her elbows, causing her wound to stretch. She screamed in pain and fell back onto her stomach, causing even more pain in her side. "Oh come, help..." she mumbled to Denver.

Jade
She sighed. "I guess that makes sense. But I hate being a shish-ka-bob. It's not as fun as it sounds." She almost wriggled around to get comfortable, but stopped herself, remembering the piece of wood lodged in her gut. She looked up at Alex, who still hovered over her. "The bad guy's gone now, you don't have to protect me," she mumbled with a small grin. "And I think I handled myself pretty well." 

Alex
Alex laughed. "I wouldn't call being shot my an arrow "handling yourself."" He propped himself up with his hands on either side of Jade's head, grinning down at her.

Denver 
Another medic knelt next to him. "I'll take it from here," they said. "These medical kits are not up to my organization standards," he commented as he left, jogging back to Jade.

Kahlen
Kahlen paced up and down the riverbank. Her headache came back, her head pounding so intensely she stumbled. "Stop! Leave me alone!" Kahlen shrieked.

Ethel
 Ethel forced herself to take a deep breath, and then sat back on her heels shakily.
 "...Okay. But don't you find her to be suspicious? Please say yes, I need validation," she spoke, the words rushing out of her mouth without a moment's notice. Her eyes were pale and haunted, like their normal hazel color but very muted. They bore into Katie's gaze, though Ethel didn't bother to consider whether she was scaring her or not.

James
 James slowly followed in Katie's footsteps, having been previously mesmerized by the battered girl and Denver, who was making quick work of the situation despite yelling at his medical kit quite often.
 "Is she alright?" he asked Katie, looking down at Ethel doubtfully.

Eudora
Eudora watched Denver go back to Jade and caught a glimps of James. Her eyes rolled back up into her head, and everything went black. But a startled yell made her come back to reality. She whimpered helplessly, and tried to stand up. She silently cursed the camp and then fell down onto her knees, becoming very dizzy.

Katie
Katie nodded loyally. "I didn't recognize her until just now. I probably would have attacked her as well." She looked up at James with an "ohgoshwhatdoido" look, composing herself. "Yeah, she's going to be fine. She's just in shock."

Jade
She smiled sheepishly. "I guess shields made of water aren't very effective." She wished she wasn't always in such helpless situations around him. He was always supporting her, and she was frustrated that she hadn't been able to help him yet. A few kids ran past with the flag, grinning, calling that they found it under some rocks. "Yay, we won," Jade said with false enthusiasm.

Eudora
Eudora looked at Katie. "I appreciate it. If you want to stab me to, get it over with and end my misery." she said a little harsher than she intended. 

Alex
Alex shrugged as best as he could. "I mean, they did what they could." He leant down and pressed a quick kiss to Jade's lips, sitting back up and cupping his hands in the river, bringing the water to his face and tenderly washing all of the blood off of it. He cleaned up Jade a little too - well, what he could clean up. He also washed both his and Jade's blades, setting them further on the bank to dry.

Kahlen 
"No! Stop! I'm not-" the world started spinning around her.

Denver 
"You okay, Jade?"

Ethel
 "Why? Because of the pact?" Ethel hissed to Katie, a bit too loudly.

James
 "...What pact? Did you guys make some sort of secret alliance or something?" he half-joked, giving Katie a questioning look before crouching down to be at their level. Ethel appeared to be in really bad shape. Not physically, no, but she looked mentally wrecked and incredibly unstable.

Jade
"I didn't use that," she said to Alex as he cleaned her blade. Denver appeared and she nodded to him as well as she could. "I'm okay." A faint yell echoed back to her and she looked around, confused. "Where's Kahlen?" 

Eudora
Eudora got up, plainly not in her right mind, and tried to walk off. 
"Eudora... I told you you didn't belong here."
She turned around and saw that thing again. "Well maybe you should tell me where I belong and stop being so annoying!" Eudora yelled out loud.

Katie
Katie shook her head no. "No, hun. Because it's dark, and I'm scared, and tired, and fighting for my life." She glanced at James, looking down quickly. "I'll tell you later."
